look i will never tell anybody to rent from here i had so many problem with a night worker he kept calling me saying i need to pay my bill an he lock me out 2 different times so i went else an rented.

Have the available trucks that are reserved and not call the customer the day before the need of the truck to tell them you don’t have the available truck and your getting a smaller one to then have to make the customer have to make two trips when it could have been done in one

Well, you can start by training your employees at your regional office as well as those located at 1861 US-41 in Schererville IN how to better address issues as well as be much more courteous to upset customers. The only reason I had to drive 8 extra miles out of my way at 2 hours behind schedule to 5048 W 81st Avenue was because my reservation was reserved at an office that wasn’t open on Saturday. Make matters worse, this was a day everyone needed to rent a piece of equipment so everything was rented. What I reserved was sitting on the lot of “Summer Song of Highland” and I couldn’t get it because there was no employee available. Regional office took almost 20 minutes to answer my call just to tell me they would have to look around to find another piece of equipment which meant I had to drive even further out of my way to get it. My inconvenience may have been less inconvenient if the company would have offered me some form of discount or special promotional deal, but it wasn’t offered. And still I’m 10 miles further away from my desired location and 2 hours behind the schedule I had planned. I will be seeking another company to do business with. Completely unhappy. I would like to make clear that the I-haul at 5048 81st Avenue was not the problem. It was the u-haul located at 1861 US-41 that created the entire debacle. And then had nerve to give me an attitude when I drove back there to demand that they fix it. It was this’s location who single handily forced my decision to seek another company to do business with.

How about the bill. I rented the truck for 24 hours. I returned the truck the same night I rented it. I rented on 4/20 and returned the same night, at the same location I rented. My bill says I returned it on 4/22. That is not correct.

I would highly recommend that you spray your trucks with febreze or something because ours did smell like mildew inside the back of truck and was very hesitant to put our furniture in there.

Never Again. Use another shipping service! I placed an order to have a single room moving box to be shipped with guaranteed arrival in Houston, Texas on 3/17/19. I needed to access the moving box on 3/5/19 upon speaking with a customer service rep. I was assured that my moving box arrived on time. That didn’t happen (The call was recorded). Apparently the Customer service rep CANCELLED the pick up order and fail to schedule pick up. My box sat an additional week with no one having a clue why. After several calls to customer service I got no where even left on hour for upwards of an hour a few times. I finally was able to speak to someone at the actual location where my moving box was sitting only to get the run around. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone who I could escalate the situation with I was told that they would prefer not to give me that information as it would appear that they were not trying to resolve the issue. My moving box was finally located and to avoid missing the guaranteed delivery date my original order was canceled and a new order was issued! I finally received my items a week later without any explanation nor apology for the poor service. I did however receive a full price charge for subpar service to say the least! Avoid uhaul mix box shipping at ALL cost!

Horrible experience. I paid for two years and every few months, the rent would increase and they would charge fees due to an error in their own system. Horrible customer service

Our overall experience with U-Haul was terrible, but it was with the Alsip, IL location. Our pods were lost for approximately one week and when they found them we had to wait several days to get.
