The hood latches were not fastened when I picked up the truck. I discovered this as I was going down the interstate and the hood almost flew off. I had to immediately pull over to the side of the road before an accident occurred.

The female employee who was at her desk inside the business had absolutely no business working with the public. I felt as though I was bothering her from the time I entered the business until I received my receipt. The young man who checked me in was nice and efficient. Peggy is amazing!!!! She helped me so much. Told me what I needed to make the mive a success, blankets, rope, lock, packing material. She was understanding when I needed to change the date of my move. I can't say enough positive things about Peggy. This was a hard move, from Florida to Texas, and Peggy helped make it easier. I needed to change the rental as I no longer needed the car dolly. There was no way on the website to do that. In the store, they could not do it either. They ended up cancelling the reservation and then creating a new one.

I got a call/vm and returned the call. The customer service had no idea why they called. I got another call and was told I hadn’t returned my call which I had. Then the lady said she called because she didn’t have the code to the lock and it was stuck. I provided her with code although I don’t think that was for me to provide. Then I explained to her how to open it and told her it was hard. She then asked if I had trouble with the door because it was broken. I explained it had always been hard to open and asked about being charged for a broken door. She HUNG UP ON ME! this is the second time I have had awful service at this specific location and on a third occurrence I witnessed the manager YELLING at a guest and then berating her employees to the point I was uncomfortable being in the building

I pulled in at 5pm witha full load and my car on the dolly. They helped me unload the car and unhook the dolly. I got clear instructions on how to return the truck after hours. Their driveway off the main road is very wide, and their lot is easy to maneuver in.

I really like where you’re going with the new platform. Much faster, efficient method to process truck rentals. Your team would benefit greatly with better connectivity (faster internet) so the can work faster within “the system” and store needs Wifi so that guests can upload documents faster. It a bit awkward and mildly frustrating for both the team member and customer; and it slows down what could be a much faster process.

The people at both locations were very nice and helpful. The truck was clean. I told the attendant the truck engine revved up without the accelerator being pressed twice. The first time the truck was headed for the gas station building. The second time it was headed for a parked truck in front of me. I had to slam on the brakes both times. It is an intermittent problem.

Better staffing in morning when many customers desire to pick up their rentals and get moving. Usually only one person manning counter and line of customers gets backed up. Two recent experiences, there was only one person issuing out equipment and wait again was quite disconcerting.

While the location was nice and the employees were all nice. I was highly disappointed that when I arrived and expected to do the mobile pickup like I had done for 2 other trucks in the past week, I was told “no vehicle has been assigned to you, please go inside”. It shouldn’t have been a big deal except when I walked in there was a line 15 people long with 2 people running the registers. I asked someone if I still needed to wait even though I had a reservation and they said yes. It took me 30mins to get to the register. Then waited outside for my truck to be pulled up for another 15mins. When it came time to inspect it, the link that was texted to me said “no photos for your vehicle” then when trying again said “link no longer valid”. The guy inspecting with me had to do it manually with carbon paper. With a wife and two kids waiting in the parking lot the whole time, it took me a total of 1 hour to get out of the location with a truck. That’s an hour out of my rental time and my full day of loading the truck with no compensation even though uhaul sent me to this location instead of my original choice.

I went in to get the keys to a truck which turned out to be the wrong size. I ended up back at this location around 10pm and was on the phone with the customer service For 45+ mins waiting for someone to switch the truck to a larger one at anther location. She was successful in fulfilling my request and submitted to reverse the one I reservation I had. So then, the other location participated in the 24 hour BS so I go there - try this verification only for them to tell me that my pictures didn’t match. I called and she said she saw no difference. I called multiple times and spoke with multiple people - even ended up asking for the recording of the phone call from one ridiculously rude a** old lady with no customer service skills WHATSOEVER. It’s now 12:45, I’m standing outside near Pine Hills to pick up a Uhaul I needed to use all night and guess what? The incompetent customer service lady tells me I have “fraud” on my account. Lol, fraud? It’s uhaul, I’m an actual person so that was very insulting. I ended up leaving - it’s now 1am, no truck and a house full of boxes and I get someone on the line who says she can change the time to later. She was one of the two people I got to speak with that had common decency. Oh and by the way, Uhaul should really watch who they have working for them. It’s a really bad representation to not only have to deal with unprofessional Customer service over the phone, but to have to deal with huffing and puffing And sitting down while checking me in. Absolutely ridiculous and worst business practice I’ve come across in a very long time.

Alway receive great service from Peggy and her team. I have rented from them at least 10 times and they have always supported my truck and trailer needs with professionalism.

Staffing seems to be an issue at this location with long waits at service counter and, even longer, to get product you’re renting. Last pickup resulted in an 1 1/2 hour wait to get trailer hooked up. Excuse was folks called out that morning and only one person was available to pump propane and issue out equipment. Most of us left frustrated and ??.

I had an issue with a 26’ truck we had rented. The brakes and power steering pump was going bad. I called back they sent a mechanic and I had to exchange the truck for another one. Veronica Castro initially helped with the first truck and was very Courteous. When I came back to swap them out, she had a truck waiting for me to help speed up the process. Upon returning the truck, I was lucky enough to have been greeted by Veronica Castro once again. She jumped in the truck and started out paper work so we could be on our way. If it hadn’t been for her very courteous attitude and helpfulness toward the situation, I would have just returned the truck initially and looked elsewhere.

I rented a car dolly, but the fender was defective and came off while I was driving. Fortunately it stayed connected to the dolly but I was forced to use a roll of duct tape to keep the plastic fender connected until I reeached my destination. Thankfully I had purchased insurance but I should not have had to pay for it due to the poorly repaired fender.

Truck was rented unsafe, as tire pressure monitor light was on, asked person checking it out, told me not to worry about it. Concerning as I would think this could be a safety issue. This location is poor, and only time I use it is when it is the only place that would have the truck I need. Facility is clean, very nice, just needs service help...

I reserved a flat bed trailer with a ramp. When I arrived to pick up my reservation, my reservation had been changed without my knowledge to an enclosed trailer which did not serve the needs intended. I was forced to settle for a smaller flat bed trailer without a ramp which barely served my needs and required my making several trips in order to move the items that were the point of the rental.

My experience was terrible. After arriving to this location, I had to have 3 different associates help me to figure out what I needed to do in order to get my U-Haul rental. A miscommunication from the staff happened, but yet basically was blamed on me and I was not accommodated. After reaching our destination with the U-Haul, the vehicle would not start. We waited for a whole hour for someone to come out and fix the issue. Due to this, I had to drop off my rental outside of the rental time, however I was told I would not be charged any additional fee. I will never use this location again.

more check in help. they are great, friendly, knowledgable, clean facilities, but demand to rent at this location is constant and high. Even with the wait I would not go elsewhere.

We chose this location because it is so close to our house. The customer service at this location lacks greatly. They representative behind the counter was not friendly at all. Did not smile, thank me for my business or anything. It seemed as if she hated her job and we were a bother to her. The other representative behind the counter took a phone call on his personal phone in front of the guest and was cursing and raising his voice to the other end. Not something that should be done in front of the guest in your establishment. The only one that had a great attitude was the gentleman outside who brought us the truck and checked us in on our return. He is the only reason I gave as good of a rating.

Truck was pulling to one side when driving. I was charged an extra day even when I returned the truck 5 hours after I rented the truck and parked it in the parking lot. Never received a call the next day. I thought they should have called me to see why the truck was there. Sad service.

The mileage prices are way too high. Almost $0.70 a mile is crazy. I didn’t mind at $0.29 a mile but this is too much. A simple $19.99 a day rental turned into almost $100 in the course of a couple hours. I’ll need to rethink this in the future.

I rented a tow dolly to move a car. The wheels were very out of balance and it shook terribly. I called after I had left and was going down the road the woman that answered the phone said that it was supposed to shake and they did not have another unit available. I happen to own a two-wheel tow dolly for hauling cars and my tow dolly does not shake at all I had two wheels taken and balanced and I know the difference between the two

Clean the truck cab as it had spilled stuff dried on the console and seats. The steering wheel was dirty as well. The right rear tires were worn out and the inside right rear tire was not even a brand that should have been on the truck causing a blow out on our trip and cost us 3 hours of time to wait for new tires to be installed. This was something that didn't need to happen had the truck been properly maintained before being sent on a 1000+ mile trip.

Dropping off out of hours was confusing as the key drop off is not very well located. I had to to wander round for 20 minutes trying to find it. It isn’t the usual Orange box. But a dark hole on a dark garage door...not very clear at night time.

Don't cheat on gas. I was told the tank was full and to bring it back foll. Drove the cargo van only 20 miles and it took 6 gallons to fill. Tried to complaint and was told there was nothing they could do. They could not even tell me what kind of miles per gallon were expected but I don't think 3 miles per gallon makes sense. Must be a gas skimming operation.

The gentleman that checked over the vehicle as I returned it was pleasant, friendly and helpful. I had a stressful last two days because the people that was suppose to unload the truck did not show and I had to get new people to do the same. I took me two days to do it. Wow!. I was late for my five day rental because of this but the gentleman I am referring to made smile and feel better. Kudos to him.

Check out took in excess of 45 minutes due to your computer programs. I had the pickup for 2 hours and paid a fortune. Very overpriced. I will look at other rental options in the future

Not enough help at the check in desk. Your express check in to me is a little short of express. Why could you not go to a person out in the yard where the trailers and trucks are to get your rental? A trailer in my case. All the information was in your system so why could you not have the person in the yard bring up your reservation on his handheld and verify who you are with the picture of your license that you uploaded, sign and go? Just a thought.

The check in and check out process is painfully slow. At check out only the GM was working the counter. At check in one other associate and GM was at the counter however they had me get checked back in with an associate out in the yard. Little more speed and peep in their step to process the order would be appreciated thus the average rating.

The original address given to me for the drop off in Daytona hasn’t had a uhaul contract for months. It was a gas station. I drove out of the way to get there. I had to locate the other location on int speedway and drive extra to get there.

We had to wait awhile for service even with four people working at the counter. It seemed very unorganized. The trailer was pretty old and banged up. It worked well for us though. This was a one way tow to Arizona. The guys at the U-Haul on the receiving end were shocked how much we paid to rent the little 4x8 box trailer. I thought it was high and I questioned it at the time of pickup, but they pretty much said this is how much it is. I would recommend the place, but with caution.

The vehicle I was given is a death trap waiting to happen. For starters the tires have zero traction on them. Riding on the highway, I can feel the truck sliding off the road. And this is the truck designated for long one way trips. So the newer well maintained trucks remain locate, but the worned down unsuitable trucks make the long trips. Very very dangerous. Obviously customer safety is not important. Additionally, the truck whipper blades were dry-rott with no whipper fluid. I will never rent U-Haul for long distance again.

I just loved using my phone to rent our truck. It was such an easy process and the system is very user friendly as I am older and not as tech savvy. Also the return was so simple as we never had to enter the store and could do everything through the prompts from the phone. Thanks for making this rental run as smooth as butter! This was the location that I originally pick for drop-off. The drop off on my contract was changed to a less convenient location. It took about 20 minutes on the phone to get things straightened out. The woman on the phone was a big help.

I have had this comment in the past. The software program(s) to rent a U-Haul is unbelievably cumbersome and time-consuming. The process makes me feel you are in the 1980s. Each time I rent, I dread the computer-related processes. Nothing about it is efficient.

When I picked up the 20’ truck I rented I noticed the mirror was not where I needed it so I ask the fellow checking out the truck to me to push it in a bit. He did I left. As I pulled out into traffic the mirror began to move with the motion of the truck so loose it moved with the wind. I was forced to return it the ect morning before completing my move to have the mirror worked on. It was so loose there was no way I was going to take this truck into freeway traffic. The guy that adjusted the mirror when I ask him too should have noticed this and taken care of it on the spot!! It’s called customer service which in my view is lacking at this location
