I was charged for 2 gallons of gqs on my invoice. I used the van for 6 miles. I tried to fill it before I returned the van at the gas station right down the road. It took .82 cents of gas and shut off. It was full when returned. Again, it was only driven 6 miles!! why do I have 2 gallons of fuel on my receipt?.Danielle B.

I rented the truck for 2 days and was only able to use it for one of those 2 days. The truck didn't start once I took it out of the uhaul lot and I was held responsible for it. Called roadside and they kept updating the ETA every 30 minutes. 4-5 hours later, 8pm the truck was ready to go again. And at that time the stores were already closed so wasn't able to pick up my purchases till Monday. I don't believe I should have been charged for the 2 days because of all the inconvenience.Maria A.

The actual location was fine, however the man who hooked up my trailer did a absolute TERRIBLE job. I brought two ball hitches and the one he used was way too small only because he didn't want to take the time to get the nut off the other one. He said and I quote, â€œI'm not fucking with this, the other one will be fine.â€ Knowing full well I was driving with my daughter from Wisconsin to Florida. The trailer was so loose it was bouncing all over the place! The man who was then loading my trailer (not at uhaul) said that it wasn't hitched properly and began to unscrew the nut with his hand because the guy never tightened it! It could have come completely apart with one good bump in the road! The gentleman then switched out the ball hitch for me and it drove a million times better. We could have been hurt or completely lost our trailer. I was not happy.Nicole P.

I requested a 10ft truck, but was 'upgraded' to a 15ft truck because the truck had to get back to the Madison area. Although I wasn't charged for the larger truck, it was too big for the move we had. There was no option given to me for the smaller truck initially reserved.JuDee F.
The truck i rented did not have a ramp, which was a bad surprise. Also, I was not told to fill the truck with gas and being my first time renting that was another bad surprise given that I was already paying for mileage. The check in process was not easy given that I had already thrown keys in when I was asked for pictures. Bad surprise number 3.Brittney G.

They are scams an they steal me n a family member n also friend tried to pay for my stuff several times and even did pay for it have proof that it was paid for the supervisor at the site wouldn't take it n even tried to raise it 300 more dollars n wen it was paid over the phone with costumer service the supervisor tried to say that it wasn't excepted and sold my unit. Nope. Much better service than the larger Uhaul place on 108th street. Will use Oak Creek again. Prompt fast attention. Reverse the direction of entry and exit, no one is following the backwards direction anyway.Jeff B.

I decided to go with another storage facility because my rent was raise twice within 6 months on an outside unit that is not climate control or needs any special care and I was paying almost a $150 month for a 10x10 and now I have a 10x15 it's inside and climate control and I only pay $109 month.VERONICA M. | Overall Experience

When i rented the trailer the person knew i was returning it after hours and her only comment was don't leave it blocking the driveway. she never mentioned the $20 fee added to my bill because of that, even though the trailer was returned well before the 9 am next morning. I am slowing moving from Chicago to Milwaukee and i will need to rent or buy a trailer for the process. In my option this deceptive practice will make buying a trailer more advantageous, or look for another rental company. Larry Witrylawrence W.

I probably would have rated this facility at a minimum of Average if it wasn't for a couple of unfortunate, isolated, events. Those events are as follows: 1) U-haul double dipped on my autopay payment for my storage unit. The resulting double-dip caused a chain reaction of subsequent overdrafts on my bank account that cost me hundreds of dollars in fines and about 4 hours worth of telephone calls to get things ironed out. After placing numerous calls with U-haul to get my money restored to my account, an agent finally issued a refund ticket and told me I needed to wait 3 to 5 business days to have the funds credited. I explained to this gentleman that this matter was urgent, as I now had a week to survive with zero money in my bank account. He assured me he had it taken care of. Three business days later, still no refund. I called back to U-haul only to discover the original agent essentially allowed the refund request ticket to remain in a state of limbo and that I would now need to start over with the 3 to 5 business day wait, while they move the ticket out of limbo state and relaunch the process. Completely unacceptable! 2) When I went to the actual U-haul location to discuss the matter in person and explain the unfortunate series of events that transpired because of the U-haul double dip error, the female manger at the counter was personable. But the other gentleman at the counter gave me attitude and told me that I needed to take this matter up with my bank. Well, that was a fatal mistake on his part. This issue was not my bank's responsibility to mitigate. This was unquestionably U-haul's responsibility to make good on. And this gentleman's response was a 180 degree departure from what I was willing to hear from U-haul that day. So, the next day I vacated my storage unit. And that marks the end of my relationship with U-haul. And I will be sure to spread the word about my negative U-hual storage unit experience any time I am provided the opportunity!Victor V. | Overall Experience
