Fix your business model or something because it took me two and a half hours to get my U-Haul scheduled for 7pm. I was on hold for 30 minutes all to learn workers at my location messed up and forgot to put my keys out for my truck. I then had to drive over 30 minutes to a new location and it took another 30 to verify our information. To say I'm pissed about this situation is an understatement. I will never be using U-Haul in the future and I will be sure to tell all of my friends how horribly this company handled my situation. I'm incredibly displeased and will take my future loyalty elsewhere.Aidan S.

The trailer wiring should be inspected/ repaired on this truck. I pulled a trailer and the taillights did not function when the headlights were activated. I have a test light and I tested the wiring and there was no voltage that was detected in the headlight tail light leads. The brake lighting and the turn signal lighting worked fine however. First I went to u-haul glen crossing in Cincinnati for trailer. Trailer had a bald and cupped tire on it. Manager said they could not change the tire so I had to go to the Northgate store which is above 10 miles away. After all this running around why wasn't the trailer at glencrossing inspected to make sure it was road ready before it was put on the lot. If I hadn't looked at the tires I probably would still be sitting on the side of the road on my way to Texas waiting for a tire. I'm dissatisfied because the u-haul app based on my experience has many issues that prevent it from being useful for the customer. I would like to see these issues fixed because when the app has worked correctly for me it has been a great tool and it has really improved and the customer experience. I was charged for a extra day because I was 1/2 hour late getting the truck back. A working u-haul smart phone app would have allowed me to turn the equipment in without having to wait in line to speak to a representative.Robert H.

This is my favorite Uhaul location it had the truck I wanted with plenty of space but I had to ask for a Dolley and there were no straps or places to put straps in inside the storage of the truck! I had fun with it nevertheless!Troy D.

As soon as I went to pull on the highway the enginge stalled for over heating. I kept having to stop because of this. I only had to go a total of 30 mins and took 3 hrs because I couldn't go over25 and kept overheating. That truck shouldn't been rented out. Be polite. There was a warning light on the dash so unable to read the mileage. The employee at UHaul did not tell us about this issue. So we had to go back into store to get the employee attention to know how to turn it off. We had a lot of problems with returning the U haul after hours with the website. It took about an hour. It was very frustrating. We called help line and left our number and they would call us back several times then give us a message they were helping other customers. I was told my car wasn't auto transport capable after I paid for it while being sent to multiple locations for a rental I maid 2 weeks prior to needing it . I was then told it will be refunded but was charged the damn amount for the uhaul and auto transport like I used the auto transport and was told it was no record that it should've been refunded when I have the damn receipt .VANESSA D.

The truck that I rented was not available for me the morning I needed it to move. For a MOVING truck company, I would expect the vehicles to be available!? It's out of the question to be honest. It makes it very inconvenient and a hassle to have to scramble at the last minute (already stressed from moving) because the vehicle you rented was given to someone else less than 24 hours earlier. The gas gauge was messed up, I kept putting in gas and it would only read to just over half, even with the engine running. then when I started moving it jumped up to full, so I put about $20 more of gas in the tank than I needed too. When doing the mobile checkin at drop off the website navigated me past sharing the location. Upon getting the receipt there was an erroneous gas and service charge of $60+. I had to call and explain the website was not working and that I had filled up the gas prior to dropping off. The service person verified that the gas was placed back at the original mark at pickup so they kindly removed the gas charge. However they still charged $20+ for me not â€œchecking inâ€ correctly at drop off. If your website pushes me to a new page that says to drop keys in the lockbox, I don't see where that's my problem. I followed your instructions. The keys and truck were returned, gas filled to original line. Shouldn't be an issue, or a charge.Gabriel L.

The service at Northgate was terrible. They didn't honor the month free on storage when you rented a truck for your move. Then a storage unit I've rented for going on two years I was forced to pay for additional insurance. Finally the worker that waited on me was going to honor the month free then the manager intervened said we don't do that here. The worker and manager argued in front of me and others waiting in line. I'm looking for other storage companies to store both of my units due to poor customer service and not honoring advertisement.Jacquelyn H.

This was the 2nd location i was sent to since the first didnt have dollys. The first Uhaul location was 4 mins from the place i was moving to. I waited in line and was told they didnt have the equipment i needed. Then i was sent to the next location and after waiting 25-30 mins in line we finally got the truck and equipment. Also not embellishing the wait in line, we took photos. By the time i returned to place i was moving from it had been 2 hours. I had some friends/family that had to be places so they had to leave during the middle of our move since it took so long to get going. Not only did i not receive an email or call to apologize but i was charged more than quoted. I assume this was because i returned the truck late? However, this would most likely not have occurred if i had all of the help i needed, but due to the delays i lost the help and had to make do. The first location i went to although he was nice the experience I had there some of which was his fault, although the majority of it being the corporate rep's fault. I was told he was called the prior day by i assume corporate to ensure he had the necessary equipment. He told them, "No." I guess it just never trickled down to the consumer... which many would agree is an important party to notify. The 2nd location... horrendous line. Only one person working the counter. He was pleasant but on the verge of being too pleasant as to hinder efficiency. With all of that being said, yes i complained to my family/friends/coworkers - but not about just about the horrendous experience i endured but your company's lack of follow up and follow through. I made it apparent i was unhappy at the first location (which corporate gave me .10cents off a mile - although i had to drive way out of my way and deal with the long waits), 2nd location, and during the check out part when i returned the truck. I am reserving some of my other complaints as I dont want to negatively impact others' livelihoods - again I think this just reflects poorly on corporate's laissez-faire attitude that ultimately hurts the customer's experience.Bradley S.
