We were unable to complete self-check in to pick up our rental truck, and we had to wait until the store opened to be able to pick up. The after hours phone service was unable to help with the check in process over the phone. We had scheduled and hired movers to assist us with loading based on our allotted pick up time. With the self-check in server down, this put us behind schedule and risk of paying for extra hour fees for our hired moving help.Myriah A.

I realize this location is short staffed. Even though I had a reservation, it took much longer to pick up the equipment than expected. The lady and young man who had just started working there, were very helpful. It took numerous calls over two days to receive confirmation that the trailer was indeed returned at the proper time. Again, this was due to lack of staff. Overall, the trailer was exactly what we needed, was in excellent condition, and served its purpose. This location has a great selection of equipment, but just needs more help and management.Janelle H.

The process to return vehicles/equipment overnight is quite arduous and hard to navigate. I was told to sign up on the app to return early overnight. However, the app could not sync my reservation and my account. If I had not remembered that there was a link in my reservation email that had steps to return the vehicle, I would have had to add more miles to my rental by driving all the way home and back to the location in the morning.Latoyia M.
Everything went well. But, they had a full line when I checked out so I accepted an email receipt. The receipt should not have had a $7.88 refueling charge. The gas station is only 1/2 mile away and I put the gas level back to the same spot. There should be no charge!! Thanks Dan LightfootDAN L.

I was give a truck with 99,XXX miles to make a one way trip from Ohio to Maryland. Each time I had to stop and re-start the truck, it was harder and harder to turn over. Due to the fear of it not starting, I skipped making stops which created un-needed stress and anxiety.Jacob S.

Opening Front desk associate (tats on hand) was very helpful, informed and upstanding with the check in and check out process. He was about to multi task helping me and his coworker at the same time flawlessly and efficiently. I reserved a van online and submitted credit card info and everything they needed. When I picked up the van, I was asked to vocally give my credit card info to the agent behind a acrylic shield. I said I had already gave that info online and he said he didn't have access to it. This practice is very unsettling and lacks privacy. For that reason, I'll rent elsewhere.Thomas B.

The location was advertised as 24hr return location but there was no key drop box. I spent 45 min going around looking for it and then another 30 min to talk to a U-haul representative on the phone, who finally told me to leave the key under the driver seat and lock the door. The day after they call me from this location asking why I left the key inside. Very disappointing return. Also (not related to this location), the U-haul app does not work when I tried to upload the pictures. The browser version worked but the Android app doesn't...please fix!marco B.

Person working the desk was rude and told us that we did not have a reservation and they didn't have any vehicles on the lot. Told us to find corporates number and called the next customer up. After calling customer service, they needed to talk to the worker. Magically they had our rental on the lot. Desk worker kept glaring angrily and making it an uncomfortable situation. Upon returning the Uhaul the desk worker just told us to "park it". There was a long line of trucks in the return section. Never using this location before we didn't know where to put it except where the signs told us too. Well we ended up parking on the sidewalk where we return it. Overall the Uhaul ran perfect and same with the car dolly. Poor customer service but great vehicles.Joshua B.

The truck had things and scratches all over it did not have the sticker on it. It was so bad that I almost refused to take the truck because I didn't want to get stuck with any charges. The back had not been swept out and had styrofoam and all kinds of other debris all over the back. The check engine light was on with the vehicle the whole time.William W.

Mainly applying to uhaul as a whole. This was my worst rental experience I've ever had. But it was not entirely the fault of the location. The 24/7 pickup didn't work, then the mobile return wouldn't work and customer service is an absolute joke. The person I dealt with at this location was wonderful, he gets an A+.Samantha C.

The equipment was not well kept or maintained at all. If it was not a last minute emergency I would not have accepted it. I used gloves to drive the vehicle and had to shower soon as I got home. I had to clean it just to be able to drive it in the beginning to feel ok about it. I was not happy about it at all.Crystal B.
I reserved the truck the night before when i arrived to pick up the truck the heavy overweight manager told me i had to let the truck run(my gas) until the snow melts off the windshield since he had no scrapper nor did he offer a broom or try to remove any of the snow and ice off the windshield before i got there nor did he bring the truck forward out the yard to inspect with me he left me on my own to go get it clean off the snow and inspect it alone. it was even worse returning the truck since the same manager was nowhere to be found for at least half hour only one guy working he could not fond help nor workers other than himself, the one guy who checked me out was very helpfull.Anita W.

Excellent agents at all locations we used. We rented three trucks and one cargo van this August 2021 as we moved two children to college and relocated ourselves to a different city. ALL the rentals went smoothly from check in to check out. Recommend 100%. Our storage unit in Columbus on E. 5th street was very clean, easily accessible, prepared with a lock and key. The only issue I had was with the billing account system. The way it displays your payments/balance is not user-friendly. When looking at the balance column, it shows dollar balances in parenthesis. In any other system, that would mean that there is a credit on your account, but not theirs. That was a bit inconvenient because I had to take the time to try and figure it out and then email my question to the location's GM, Erin. The truck was all over the road. It needs an alignment ASAP!!! I was told by a man named Fred that the entire process time would be 7-10 minutes. It took 50 minutes for me to get the truck and storage unit. The staff needs to be thoroughly crossed train... The the unit door would not slide back to open, so I called an employee to help me to get the door open, and by the time he got back to the unit, I had managed to get it open and unload my car...
