Very clean facility. Staff was very nice and helpful. The best part about it was you could pull into the building to load and unload your items and use the carts for your items. If I ever need a storage facility in the future, I will definitely be back.

There was communication differences between the call centers when I scheduled the pods. 1) Cost. There was an additional fee for delivery to final destination which was not mentioned upon initial schedule. 2) initial schedule, which was made by Toronto call center, allowed me to have pods dropped off Day after Thanksgiving which was closed in Toledo and had to reschedule for Next day. These issues were minor and the customer service I received from Toledo call center and the ladies delivering and picking up pods were exceptional. Would recommend to friends should they need a source to move.

The picture of the front of the car was very dark in the area that had minor cosmetic damage so I couldn't tell if it was in it or not, otherwise everything was fantastic and easy to follow

This move was by far the best I've experienced to date. There is less stress involved when your U-box is delivered and you have plenty of time to load them. The worries of storing/transporting them are also eliminated. I'll recommend U-box to anyone who is planning a move!

Return call when a customer tries to discuss their charges & experience. I showed the picture of the gas gauge but the app wouldn't let me mark the right level. This caused an additional $50 charge for gasoline. I rent from Uhaul pretty regularly but I'll be using Penske or Hertz from now on.

I've been leasing from Uhaul for approx 10 years and never have I had a truck in the condition of the one they gave me for a 7 day trip. There was sticky on the steering wheel and something was across the dash making it difficult to read the speed. The sun visor kept hitting me in the face and finally had to remove it. The door to the truck did not open smoothly had to use a hammer to get it open the first couple of times. There was no grip bar on the back of the truck. The insulation around the door keep coming off and tripping me as I exited the truck. The lights on the dash disappeared on the way home but came back on after about an hour. The truck ran okay no problems there just the other issues making the trip difficult. I believe that must be the oldest truck in operation. It would have been alright had I not been going on a long trip. I pay a lot of money to rent your trucks and this one did not live up to the standard I have come to expect from Uhaul.

The manager Shelby went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and accommodated me by not charging extra month of storage because I had my items moved out by the end of the business day on November 1st. I love this location of U-Haul the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm done with Uhaul. You people first go to Detroit then Inkster and then made go to Toledo Ohio for a truck I made reservations for a month in advance. I was not properly compensated for having to drive 48 miles there and back to Ohio. The Janky automotive shop/ Uhaul place said there Wi-Fi is down they'll email a receipt. They claimed they took pictures that there is trash and charged 25 for BS cleaning fee. This a lie I did not leave trash. Lastly I never got a call back from inkster to fix issue and Uhaul charged me anther 50 and claim they can't see the charge.

This was generated by me visiting Uhaul again for an ongoing problem. The original UBox contract was closed late June 2022. Yet, I was charged for July and August. This store was able to reverse the charge and they thought cancel the contract, again. But, come Sept 7th. I was charged again so that makes 3 months of failure to cancel on your part and it put my bank account into insufficient funds once and I was charged by my bank, so that was not good. This was reversed again and I appreciate the UHaul store I visit, but this is a bigger problem. And here is why you need to fix it or I will stop telling others to use UBox and possibly UHaul. I convinced my sister in law to use U-Box to move her parents and her own home into one new combined location. She did since the truck she put on reserve was no longer available and there was no truck rental available to leave her state at that time, (from Los Angeles, CA to Chicago, IL.) She ordered the prescribed amount of boxes ;and UHAUL movers to load the UBoxes. The movers delayed their moveout by showing up 7 hours late to her near 70 year o;d parents home and at here home, one of the movers had to go get his child, which is understandable, but nobody came in to replace them. The end result, she had movers come late, charge here way too much, and they did not listen to her to pack the necessary items first. She was forced into getting an additional container on top of having to pay double for movers and having to hire help to clean both homes since she lost a day due to late movers showing up. But it goes on... she arrived to Illinois and there, they told her her boxes will not be available as she was told. They are delayed but even worse... the Uhaul receiving her boxes does not have the actual trailer to deliver her boxes to her home and she owns a Honda Fit. Not a big vehicle. How this is her problem, I do not understand. It seems Uhaul is taking advantage of her kindness and I am very upset over this. Uhaul needs to fix this now and reimburse 25% of the cost in my mind to make this better. Uhaul cannot make it right, since the effects of Uhaul are already done. But you can save face here if you at least reimburse her some of the overextended costs you have applied i.e. the extra container and the doubling of the packers who show up late anyways. You cannot pay for her cost of hiring extra house cleaners since she lost a day of work and had to hire people to step in, but you can compensate by a further reduction of the cost you have extended to her. The method of billing for monthly rentals is unfair. I rented from May 19 to August 18, which is 3 months. The rental estimate included 1 free month of rental. So I rented for 1 day less than 3 months so I expected to only have two pay for 2 months if 1 month was free. I was told that my free month was May and that you don't pro-rate months. This practice allows you to be able to overcharge customers for rental time when they are not actually renting. This kind of underhanded tactic is why I will look elsewhere for my future rental needs.

Spencer, the manager was helpful. The other worker Shelby had a poor attitude and did not relay pertinent information to me that would have saved me time and resources. However , her manager Spencer did a great job at helping me out with a lock removal and lessening my fees for my storage because I was 2 weeks late with rent. I appreciated his graciousness. The storage locks were broken and i had to move units twice. The hours were inconvenient because I had to get them to take their lock off in order to access my outside unit. At night there was no lighting. Overall there were problems and the employee Shelby made me feel so anxious about evening coming there to get things from my unit. Overall I strongly disliked the experience.

When I went to pick up my stuff in my storage I was unable to get into it with my card, nor were the two ladies working knew what they were doing and kept hanging up the intercom on me while trying to figure it out. So I just had to go into the unit with the alarm going off being their own workers didn't even know how to let me access my storage! Useless and not helpful. Then I received a charge for gas for the truck I rented and honestly when I first got the Truck there was barely no gas in the truck as it is, I'm not going to put gas in a truck that I didn't personally use up. Clearly the truck wasn't properly seen prior to me. Then the fact I received an email stating that I got a free month of storage is a joke. Rates are far over-rated and honestly services weren't that great!

I am not new to moving, and I always use U-Haul. The staff at this store was AMAZING. The best team I've dealt with so far with this company. I had a storage unit and then needed a moving truck for a one way out of state move. They went above and beyond to accommodate my circumstances & always gave stellar customer service!! The phone # listed is not a direct line to the facility. I needed to go to the facility to get my question answered. The day I moved out the door to enter the facility was broken which caused an extra hour to load. I had hired a moving company, which added cost.

Kassidy K, my service person was very helpful. She walked outdoors and showed me how to use the key pads. She was courteous and understanding. The facility is very clean and bright inside. Unloading my items was easy with the sliding doors and the carts directly inside. This storage facility outshines the Lock it up unit I had for only one month. I left it because it dark inside, not climate controlled, and not user friendly in any way.

The staff and management at this facility were always wonderful and accommodating. I never had a bad experience at all while storing my items from my closed business and home is this business and home for over a year and a 1/2. They also gave me a deal on 1st month's rent for both units. I had a climate controlled unit and an outside unit. Thanks. They were great I would store my things there again any day and use the vehicles calls from this facility. Can't say enough good things about them.

Guy inside was talking to his "bro" on the phone not helping anyone. Just kept having his conversation about stopping by after he was off in 5 hours. Then a really nice girl came in and actually helped everyone. The guy was annoying reminded me of a bird. But the storage unit was good.
