Did all the necessary online steps, including payment. Waited for 30 minutes while they tried to locate my particular truck that was less than 50 feet from their desk. The personnel were fine in regards to customer service. Just didn’t seem like an organized detail oriented location. Somewhat surprised that there were no virus cleaning supplies in evidence or statements regarding the recent sanitizing of credit card reader or pen used to sign agreement.

- The day that I picked up the truck: o Your computer systems were down and I was told by the person there that I could either try self-checkout or would need to come back later. I had movers scheduled and a short window of time to do what I needed. o I then had to go hunt for the vehicle as the person in the shop just pointed and said it is out on the lot. When asked about where – he told me he was not sure and to look for the id number. It took 10 minutes to find the truck when I would have expected it to be pulled up front under the canopy for a better experience. o I noticed the severely cracked mirror on the passenger side – see cracked mirror file attached. o There was very little gas in the vehicle - less than 1/8th of a gallon – see Gas at pick up file attached. o I took photos of all this and put it on the app for self-checkout. ? Note that self-checkout took over an hour due to the systems down issue. Putting me quite behind schedule. o I called Uhaul in Athens as I pulled away due to the extended time it took to self-checkout. I told them that the truck was obviously a smoking vehicle and that the truck cab was covered with ashes inclusive of a lot of ashes in the ashtray. o I told them the cab and the storage area both were filthy and appeared to not have been swept from the last usage. See Ashes in ashtray_floor file attached. o I told them the passenger mirror made the truck quite hard to navigate not having two working mirrors. o The truck has less than 1/8th of gas left in it. I had to scramble and find a gas station immediately otherwise I would have run out of fuel further taking more time from my schedule. o The person I spoke to said there was not a lot they could do until the truck was returned as processing any kind of credit wouldn’t be allowed. I understood. I called again that night to talk to the 800# folks and they told me the same however stated that they would notate the system to ensure the store knew I was not happy and wanted to the manager to do something for me about the bill. - The day I dropped the truck back off: o I noticed many of the people working at the facility smoking and hoping in trucks moving them around. o I could not find anyone that would take the return of the truck so I used the check-in option on the app and I filled out a survey as well as commented to everything that happened. o I returned the truck with 1/2 a tank of gas which was much more than I had when I got it. See attached Gas at return file extened. - I am at this point frustrated that nobody from Uhaul calls to discuss. Nobody follows up to see what can be done to keep my business – especially for a long standing consumer of your service. Instead no contact until today almost 4 weeks later with a bill I was not expecting. Please have someone call me today to discuss this. Anthony Ronghi 678-640-7430

We used Ubox to ship our stuff from Georgia to California. The whole process was easy and smooth. We were informed each step of the way. Used the recommended movers to unload and they were great.

The people and service were outstanding. Ronna went way out of her way to help us. i dont see how you can improve on a service that we found to be beyond perfect. It's the people here that made all the difference. It's not just the service , the knowledge of the two people that helped us but the kindness and real concern that all goes well with our trip. What I would recommend for anyone that needs help from U-HAUL from out experience is to talk to someone in person and NOT online. The people here as well as Athens cold not be nicer or more helpful.

It would be nice for them to have checked the equipment before renting it. The 26’ truck they gave me had an oil light on. I was an hour late getting out of there because they had to find another truck for me. That cost me additional money.

Posted signs state if returning equipent to wait in vehicle at the sign. There were 2 trucks already there and I pulled in as vehicle number 3. I waited 5 minutes, but hadn't seen anyone at the other vehicles so I went inside to get assistance.

This U-Haul location is much larger and has more equipment and a better facility than most locations. The personnel have always been friendly and professional. The manager, Jedidiah is also professional and does a good job running the business.

We opted for the Mobile App pick-up but of course that was a nightmare...the time it took to do that we watched 2 people who came in after we arrived come and drive off in their rental. So after getting to the end of the app check in (good idea, bad execution) we were instructed by the app to go inside for assistance because our truck was not assigned to us yet. Jedidiah was great and helped us get it all straightened out and we were on our way. The return was easy except for all the hidden fees!!!!!

I originally had a truck and an appliance dolly reserved at the Atlanta Hwy store in Athens. Upon arrival, I was informed that they did not have a dolly for me, therefore I sent to the North Ave store. What’s the point of making a reservation if the equipment isn’t guaranteed?

The truck I rented had a problem in the front passenger quarter panel. I was told to inspect the truck before leaving and I found it. I pointed out to the GM and he knew about it. This seemed shady, like if I didn't see it before I left, I would be responsible. It should have been pointed out to me. Also, the front driver's side tire was low on pressure. They filled it before I left giving me the impression that it was fine. But then the tire lost air while I used the truck, getting down to close to 20PSI before I got back (an hour earlier than I had put down). And when I got back, they charged me more money for going over my estimated mileage by ten miles (but no credit for time). Because of the tire, which could have been a big problem, and the fewer hours used, they should have at least waived that fee.

I was charged for two rentals instead of one. I just got an email that I got a refund, but no one called to inform me. When I called in this morning about it, the person I spoke to was unapologetic and wouldn’t let me speak. She needs a refresher on customer service skills.

Frankie Ware assisted me with the last trailer on the lot which was the size I needed. I arrived about an hour before the store closed and Frankie gave me 100 percent attention. Pleasant to work with and worked hard to make sure I was on my way. Slight issues with trailer lights in which another gentleman working immediately took care of the issue after he observed a loose connection inside the trailer. I don't know the other employee's name but both were very on top of it and provided a pleasant renting experience.

Gentleman who hooked up trailer did not do so correctly and when we went to load it, it disconnected. We are very lucky it didn’t disconnect on the highway home because it would have resulted in a horrible accident. When I told the manager about the issue he failed to apologize and only asked if there had been damage to the car. He couldn’t care less about it.

The mileage was incorrect on the rental agreement. I reported it before I left the location. The correct mileage was noted on my rental agreement. The attached receipt still reports the original, incorrect mileage and charges me for 9 miles more than I drove, 25% more than I drove.

My things were in 2 U Haul boxes that were sent to facility 2 hrs away in Athens GA. My understanding is there is a Box place in Ellijay GA. 30 min. from my new address. A lot of expensive additional charges

The experience was awful. I followed UHaul procedures to pick up before hours only to find out that the truck keys were it in the lockbox and in fact we’re given to another customer the night before because her keys were not in her lockbox the night before. Customer derive the next morning offered no help. I had to wait until the location opened up and lost 1 1/2 hours of the day on a tight move schedule because I had to catch a flight. The only positive was an employee named Frankie at the location who did everything she could to make it right. She ultimately handled the very frustrating situation well and should be commended. Obviously some employee the night before disregarded the impact to others of giving a different set of keys out. As for the equipment, tire pressure light was on and side view mirror broken. This is not what I am used to in renting from UHaul as I have rented several times in the past I’m various cities. This experience was the worst in trying to move my daughter to an apartment.
