I had a great experience with U-Haul for my move preparation and the subsequent rental. Everyone was nice to me and very professional in representing the company. On my pick-up day, the guy got me all lined up with my trailer I reserved and got it hooked up to my truck too. Good people at this store in Columbus, GA.

Not sure, the process was easy and this was my 1st time every renting a tow dolly my wife's car quit on our way to our 1 week vacation rental and we were 150 miles from home so we rented the dolly and towed our car back home and dropped the tow dolly back off on our way to Panama City Beach we had an awesome guy named Delvon Bryant that helped us out any way he could he hooked the dolly up to my truck and showed me how to load and strap the car down he made the process go smooth during our time of need and that made me remain calm

I am not sure about the equipment. It was a 5 x 8 trailer that bounced so much that several packed items broke during transit. This is not the first time that I have rented with UHaul, but the first time I have rented a small trailer. Very unhappy and will not rent this type of item again.

Would have rated higher but after all day of driving and moving furniture to have the location only have one person working was not fun. The employee was working as fast as he could however with the line having 5 people ahead of me unless the customer is just buying supplies the process takes a few minutes. Other wise was a great experience

Figure out how to ensure that the gas tank is actually FULL at the time of pickup. I drove 16 miles and put 5 gallons of gas in the tank in preparation to return the van. The staff was very helpful with this and refunded a portion! Great service!

Matthew at the Airport Thruway location in Columbus Ga was very helpful and professional. Drop off at the Marietta location was equally as easy.

This move was made more stressful for the following reasons: Web site down for days, had to call UHaul by then... no trucks available in Columbus or for 100 miles, so I was forced to rent a truck and tow dolly in Fairhope, AL drive to Columbus, GA load and drive back to drop in Foley, AL - which I was told would avoid .99 per mile. On the day scheduled for pick up, I called the location numerous times to ask about boxes etc, they never answered nor called back. Finally, I drove there to see, absolutely no boxes, tape, mattress covers nor cleanliness, let alone helpful personnel, who looked up my contract (pick up was for later that day) and informed me I would be charged 40 cents a mile - which had never been discussed with me by phone consultant AND I couldn't drive 250 miles with empty tow dolly, also not mentioned on my original phone call. I dropped the tow dolly off my contract, asked the man to see if one was available in Columbus for a one way only tow, he called some field manager who said there was, hung up and said yes. I asked for the location and he said you'll have to look that up yourself. I went home immediately to make that reservation, I had trouble with your website AGAIN, so I called Aaron at The Storage Place in Columbus, GA where I had a storage unit, and they helped me to do that 2nd reservation. I got on the road on Sat Jun 1, at 5am to allow for enough tow dolly pick up & load time before driving straight back to Fairhope. When I got to the pick up location down the street from The Storage Place the young lady informed me that I needed to disconnect my drive train on truck to be towed by a mechanic... what the heck, why wasn't I told that on the phone when making the reservation, So I was forced to upgrade to the full trailer, but had to drive yet again to another location. That location was slow to do anything at all... the dude checking me out seemed more interested in his phone and was your typical millennial thinking I should be glad that he even showed up for work. I forgot my hurry cane, when I sent my nephew back for it after calling and being told that it was still where I left it... it was gone by the time he drove there... really? I was also told that both items were due back by Monday by that same young man, but I had to call for the drop off location. When I called in on Sunday I was told that the truck was due back that day at 4pm... but all the towing hassle took up a chunk of time, that meant I didn't even get home until after 3am, and confidently believed I had all day to unload and return both on Monday so I told my help to go home and get sleep, then to come back in the late afternoon/early evening... The best place was the place where I dropped off on Monday, and was the best experience in this whole ordeal by a landslide. She checked the truck in as if I had dropped off on Sunday evening, which was the above and beyond thing to had done given the hoops I've jumped with UHaul this move. I

Add more front desk workers and a person who gets the trucks and inspects with the customer so that the front desk worker doesn't leave and can assist the next customer.

Great location. HUGE space which looks very temporary, but they've not been there long. Very helpful staff. It was quick and easy, but would have been faster if I didn't have to wait while the trailer was mopped and the tire pressures checked. Checking for damage? Absolutely. Waiting while they prep it for the next customer? I don't know...

My entire experience was garbage. I reserved a 17' truck at this location online and it was unavailable as a 24/7 TruckShare, which was never stated, and I had to call CS, the lady changed my reservation to a 15' truck, with none of the equipment I originally reserved. Then I couldn't return the truck that night, so I called and the lady said she would extend my reservation for another day, so I wouldn't get charged for two days of rental, yet I was charged for two days rental and two days coverage. I called for the forth time to clear it up and was told a supervisor would be calling me to fix my reservation, and 2 days later I still haven't received the call. I will never worry about this again though, as I will never use Uhaul again.

I requested a one way rental to Tampa. I verified with agent no less than three times. When I dropped off in Tampa I was charged another $100 dollars. From previous experience the cost should have been around 60 not 130

Locator for mobile check in didn’t work on their website although it did on others. I took all the pictures and then attempted to solve any issue by live chat. They were not able to complete the transaction. Next day I received a bill for $12.75 for gas. I had put 8.1 gallons of gas in for 83 miles ($20) next door to the location. 10 mpg shocked me but then an additional $12.75 is ridiculous for not hitting the exact mark.

The agent who helped us was EXCELLENT: Matthew Cole. He allowed us to exchange an open trailer for a covered one when rain rolled into town. Right at closing time he put on his jacket and came out in the pouring rain to swap trailers, all with a smile on his face.

Great customer service. The only thing is that U-haul told us we were eligible for one month free rent at any of their storage units. Not what we were told at Your Extra Attic in Acworth. Communication was dropped somewhere. Other than that U-haul workers were great.

Turned in transport trailer to the drop off location and the person there was so helpful. It was like night and day the difference between the pick-up and the drop off. At the drop off point, they would not let me touch the trailer, stating that is their job to take care of everything and they did 110%.
