Such a long wait time after reserving online. 2hrs. Both times for pickup and storage. Online express check-in did not work as it was waiting for confirmation for longest time. Ridiculous.

They over charged me on gas and when I looked on my contract I found out that they charged gas for different vehicle that I never used when I called them they said I have to contact the billing department. They made mistake and they don’t wanna fix it.

hello, my name is lary Marchena, this claim is addressed to an incident happened on Saturday 6/22/2019 I rent a truck to make some arrangements, about 12 or so, the person who attends me asks for my license and a credit card, I take the data and ask me if I'm going to return the truck before 7 o'clock I tell him that yes, ok and how many miles I'm going to pick up I say 30 to 40, he tells me in total it would be about 122, 89 I tell him that ok he asks me for an email number I give him, he tells me his truck is ready he gives me my license my card, at no time he gives me a documentation, explaining the conditions or a receipt for payment !! he tells me his truck is outside I go out I take my truck and go out to do my negotiations at 5.45 pm I go to an office to deliver the truck about 40 miles from where I rent it, they tell me they can not receive it I have to return it where I am saying it is what it is if they did not tell me anything, the person calls me where you rent it, try to solve it, when it is called, they tell me they can not do anything that I have to deliver the truck before 7 if not I will be charged a surcharge, I take the truck and I hurry down the highway, super nervous why I do not understand anything, I call the customer attention and they tell me not to worry that I can take the truck and leave the keys in a drawer what for the keys !! to all this when I'm driving I'm about to have an accident and my husband is o Servando how I'm driving nervous decides to drive the, when we got to the office around 6.55 and delivered the truck ask to speak with the representative, they say he is not there, the same person who attended me, with a very rude attitude, started to complain, because I did not bring the truck here and I had to take him somewhere else, I told him that I did not know anything, I I thought I could deliver it in any place and he said no! She sent me an email and I showed her that I did not get anything and she told me that the same thing is wrong with the mail, I tell her that I do not know about all this, she continues to talk to me rudely. I'm going to call her police, she tells me that if I call her the one that I'm going to get into trouble, it's me, because my husband was driving the truck, he charges what he has to charge, I just want to get out of here because I feel bad, I go out to relax and leave my husband, trying to fix things she tells my husband that he has been confused and that he will not make a discount for the bad guys, because they also did not take the miles of the truck well !! When I go back to tell my husband that we have to go because I am feeling bad, I am in a crisis of anxiety, and taking into account that I am pregnant and can be very dangerous for me and my baby !! Today when I review my account at the bank I look at 3 bank transfer 2 for 122.89 and one for 174 !! please I need an explanation to this or I will have to take action a greeting

The agent, i believe her name is Anky Perez os very passive-agressive. The fact that she called someones "Honey" every other second doesn't compensate for her lack of empaty. I've been an Uhaul customer for years (check my record) and i have never experienced such a frustrating moment. In the other hand Jacob Cirino tried his best to defuse the situation even though I was very upset he sympathized andshowed that he care.

Service was a bit cold. 3 out of 4 employees i interacted with did not seem knowledgeable on the process details. They often seemed unsure of what to do. Manager was a bit condescending to his subordinate. Called in to say I was going to be late returning the vehicle but, I could not understand the representative's response to the return process even after asking her to repeat it 3 times.

don't plan on staying there while they install. I was told on the phone that I can wait, but they neglected to mention that the half an hour installation will end up in 3 hours. I waited an hour and took a taxi (round trip) later on. Other than that, the installation, the courtesy, the people - all perfect.

We specified we needed the 95" x 56" x 83.5" Ubox. The rep confirmed that was what we were getting. The rep dropping off the box confirmed that was the size. Instead we received the smaller T&U model. I called and could not get anyone to help resolve the issue. We chose the Ubox because of the size and were delivered something else. This made our move very challenging. We we not happy.

I reserved a pick up truck and car transporter a week earlier. When I got to the location neither was ready. And I was forced to answer questions that I already had answered prior. This caused me to run way behind schedule. The company should ask for an alternate telephone # when reservation is being made not when customer gets to location to pick up items. Not to many people are awake at 7am to answer a call from U Haul on the weekend.

Had to go to East Orange and get the wires, then head over to north bergen to get it installed. After that we went back to east orange to get our trailer, only to find out that they had no trailer. Despite asking east orange location yesterday and this morning that I was to receive my trailer at the east orange location, my trailer location was in east Rutherford. Basically, in total for my hitch installation and trailer reservation, I had to make multiple trips and waste a lot of my time and energy. Wait times were incredibly long at each of the locations I was in.

My pick-up time was 10.00 am. I was supposed to be in "D" and driving to home at that time. I was set with the counter and ready to pick-up the car at the pick-up location at 9.57, I waited till 10.12. Apparently the truck I was supposed to get was hitched to a trailer and was not ready for me. It should have been. This caused me nearly a late move-out fee. Also the mistakes in my bill is like a bad joke.

I paid for insurance so I should not have had to go through the process of uploading pictures where I disagreed with the condition of the truck. In the end you application wouldn't let me upload pictures so the attendant took pictures and we didn't do the normal checking procedure where I use my cell phone.

Had to return the truck..half full because the first truck had a faulty transmission. Both trucks had almost 100k on odometer. Your staff was courteous, but I had to repack truck by myself. Also... half tank of gas is not fair. Very difficult to judge a half tank. I believe that Consumer Affairs would agree that it allows you to gain several gallons of gas on every haul. I have had better experiences at this location.

Wagner gave some of the best customer service I have seen in any industry. He was totally on top of things; always knew exactly what was going on; always helpful. Highly recommend him.
