They answered all my questions and ensured I had everything I needed for a smooth move. The van itself was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for the job. I highly recommend U-Haul for anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free rental experience. Great service all around!
TODD LUsing the uhaul app to check-in helped speed up the check-in process. I was able to skip the 10 person line and immediately get the u-haul. The staff also helped answer my questions during the initial inspection. I liked the step-by-step inspection process because it was easy to understand which photos to upload You can improve on the uhaul app by making the upload of photos faster, sometimes it took as long as about 2 min for pictures to upload. I also want to be able to see the contract, and inspection completion on my reservation. Currently the contract and inspection completion disappears after I leave the last receipt screen
NINA LExcellent service however the rental process even when reservation are made in advance is outrageous, the process is long , it must something needs to improved , I believe waiting over 26 minutes to complete is not acceptable, people time is valuable looks like management don’t want to spend on better technology to reduce the time on this process

CARLOS MYou should compensate for poor windshield. My drove up to NY lasted much longer because of poor windshield. I was so scared sometimes when driving in darkens with so bad vision thru the windows.

Shreya Nwhen returning my Rental, they tried to overcharge me because of dirt on the door that I then cleaned Nettoy… I had to force myself to get him to reimburse me, and to see that it was only dirt and not a crack… (they charged me and then reimbursed me…) I would have liked to have been able to check before trying to charge a customer.

BERNARD K1-They changed to a different car without telling us. so the gas capacity was wrong. but they didn't explain it to the driver and charged the gas themselves. 2-It was dangerous to drive a big car because the brakes were bad.

JANET WThis location needs more staff. We had to wait an inordinate amount of time for help, the lines were disorganized, and it felt like chaos. There should also be kiosks for the rental equipment, both at rental and drop off.

When i moved in the front desk lady did not had my reservation and i was ok to take another storage room, later she wanted a second phone number and i gave my mom number but my mom did not respond. And the Uhaul Lady refuse to give me the storage room which was a shoke for me because i was driving 3 days almost non stop from Texas to NJ and did not know what to do with the stuff in the trailer if they did not give me the strorage room. I was lucky that Michael manager of that location helped me to get the storage room.

Furthermore, when I went to move into the storage unit, I learned the large doors close when the office closes which does not make any sense. They are accessed via a code, it shouldn't matter which hours those doors are open or closed. We had to move all of our belongings through a side door which was very inconvenient.

Ashley verified and confirmed that my request would be fulfilled st 6701 Tonelle Ave, North Bergen, NJ. However, I was not given the vehicle i rented. I echoed the conversstion and booking with the manager (rang up my transaction). He agreed to everything i stated. He "mmm, hmmmed" the entire time and when he asked me to look at the bigger model for approval. I asked why he was assigning that car after discussing the arrangements i had made with Ashley. Point is this location is dishonest, not direct and they throw changes on the customer, last minute. They did it with the mileage too. The website and agent said $1.53, but the location charged me $1.99. Super sneaky. Dishonest and rude "mmm,hmmm"

No resolves were a obtained hence I closed all accounts wand rented storage elsewhere, a CORPORATE driven COMPANY with MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABILITY and customer services as a priority
