La gerente general de la sede de Norritown me trató pésimo fue muy falta de respeto me presionaba para entregar el camión y le decía que el camión estaba cargado con mis cosas que debía bajarla simplemente ella debía cobrar el adicional del camión y ya solo me gritaba y estaba detrás de mí enojada a pesar que una de las empleadas trataba de alivianar las cosas porque si hablaba español ella más enojaba solo porque yo no hablaba inglés mi experiencia hay fue horrible creo que no volvería nunca y tampoco se lo recomendaría a nadie

Asked me to use a different debit card than the one I reserved the truck with, then charged my bank card and debit card including an extra $100.00!! They claimed " the computer" did it. Im still waiting for a refund. Never again!!! The worst!!!

DENNIS IThe representative told me that I would rent the truck for 19.99 for the two days- $39.98- I calculated a 200 mile round trip- and yet my bill is calculated at 300 miles- there are alot of discrepancies- not pleased.

VINCENT RI was charged twice. I rented a vehicle from 1:00 to 6:00pm, and was charged for two days. I brought this to the person behind the desk and couldn't explain why. The episode almost erupt to an unfortunate situation when his coworker thought it was humorous. Which I addressed her in a frank manner. Her disposition changed immediately. After involving the manager via phone at the store, he assured me he would investigate. After several days I was reimburse. I recommend to CHECK your invoice from this particular place.
ANTHONY RAll went well, it was a quick and efficient process.
KARL SStore rep was a bit rude when asked simple questions on pick up. Did not appreciate the attitude when I asked about the mobile check in. Moving is a stressful process as is, this was not helpful

Not only do they and did they make my drop-off hassle free and smooth but every time I use their facility they are dealing with and handling not only customer concerns and issues but always make time to ensure that the equipment and facilities are well maintained ready for use! They go out of their way to make sure that as a repeat frequent customer I am satisfied and my needs met! I recommended them constantly to people I know who are need of rental moving equipment or storage! I give Angelo all the credit in The world for turning around the perception and quality of service at the Norristown, Pa Uhaul! Warren Leach

ROBERT JTruck was fine, only 6 blankets when ordered 10. No utility trolly, no furniture dollies even though they were selling them?? No record of my furniture bag purchase, regular trolly was good but broken were it attached to the truck. Couldn't get the truck started at first, so I had yo go get the girl to help me she was helpful but rude, no people skills what so ever. I dropped the truck off at 3pm, Guy said they were busy and send me the receipt via email. It took two phone calls to Uhaul, customer service, I finally received it just before 7pm, the time they close and said I had the truck till 5pm??
JULIE LWhen I picked up the van, I was told to return it with a full tank of gas. I stopped at a station across the street from the UHaul location. I put almost 6 gallons of gas in the van. Since I had driven 28 miles, the mileage was under 5 mpg. So, either the van has abominable mpg value or the prior person to rent it did NOT fill the tank prior to return.

Clyde TItems I rented on the website weren't in truck when I got there. Had to ask employees which delayed things as no one was inside the location when I got there. All in all, once everything was taken care of the rest was smooth.
Kenneth MWhy advertise dollies when you don't have them? When I made a reservation on line I was given the option of renting a dolly, which I accepted. This location apparently does not have dollies. It made the move more difficult and time consuming. The irony is that the employee who was helping me was sitting under a sign advertising dollies. Also need to refine the vehicle turn-in process. I returned the vehicle after about 3 hours, but received a call the next morning asking when I would be returning the truck. I left the truck in front of the store by the store entrance and was told by an employee that I could depart.
NORBERT SI turned in the trailer a day early. It wasn't checked in until I sent a message the following day. I was then charged for the entire amount.
DOUG ADidn't get what I ordered. Then when I got the smaller truck and explained everything to the staff. The best he could do is give me the weekday rate for mileage. Not mad at the staff. Upset this wasn't a better communication. I had a set time and my reservation and truck got moved

HOWARD HKevin was super helpful! I forget the names of the short lady with the glasses and the two other young men but everyone was very informative and honest and it felt like I could trust everyone at there even though I only utilized the space for a month. Thank you all very much!
Anthony R | Overall ExperienceI have been with them for years I move around alot, just to come and check on my unit and the lock was changed, then I couldn't pay for one month and never got a call but when I called to make a payment was told I had to come and move my things out of the unit before they put it on auction. I had 72 hours to move it during Thanksgiving day holiday. There was no lights in the area the hours was changed for the holiday and there was no employees area for any kind of help. I got a call about beds left in the unit , no one was there for me to rent a truck from at that time. But was told they will charge it to my sons account, that isn't his agreement with them. The people are shady

BRYON KI was unable to check the truck out or return to the truck via the website as it wouldn't recognize my location as at the u-haul store. Also the truck smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I was initially given the wrong key. I returned the truck around 10:30 but the receipt shows I was charged until after 3pm. Overall, it was not intuitive for my first time renting a truck from u-haul. The things I liked were that I could make a last-minute reservation after Home Depot cancelled my reservation. They had a good selection of available vehicles. I liked all of the stickers in the truck explaining the tow/haul light, parking brake, etc. the vehicle was well-maintained and everything worked. I liked the staff. It was easy to extend my return time on the website.

MAMADI KI booked my reservation at a facility close to my house. When I got there, they said my reservation was cancelled and the closest location that has my one-way trailer was this one in Norristown, PA. It is 50 miles round trip from my house. Local dispatcher credited me $50 reservation fee and said to call Customer Service to see if they can adjust my rate for taking 2 hours to obtain my trailer. Customer Service said that a manager would review and call me back on 11/29 with update on my rate adjustment. I never received a call and no further adjustment came through on my credit card.
JEFFREY BI used the app to rent, but encountered a problem with the truck as the one assigned was already rented. However your team members resolved the issue with minimum delay. Kudos to them!
Sess MI was told that my U-Haul truck would be at half fuel. It was not. When I asked to rent a utility dolly the staff member said one might not be available. He finally found one, then I found out the truck I rented came with one so that was a waste of time. Also, this location advertises heated storage. Maybe they had the heat set to 35° or something? But it was not heat a human could feel. It was 28° yesterday, and my entire move was freezing.

HOWARD HI'm not sure how I was charged for fuel. I picked up the truck with 163 miles of range, just below 1/2 a tank. The next location charged me even though I returned with 193 miles of range. I want them to know this as this was not consistent.
Michael PIf I didn't arrive early for my pick up time. I would not been able to move that day.They double booked my van.
JOCELYN WI arrived for my pick up and the agent was dismissive, impatient and borderline rude. There was something that he was either doing improperly or the system had an error, but he did not want to explain to me what was wrong and I waited 45 minutes to have the truck released initially he told me the system was down and I let him know that I had driven an hour away to get this truck.
William TCustomer service was OUTSTANDING. Helped me transfer my order since I was at the wrong location. Walked with me outside to review different trucks to see which fit my needs the best. Offered all the information I needed.

MARVIN BYoung lady that helped me was incredibly rude. She took photos of my Drivers License with her personal phone, and then was angry when I asked her "why". Next she refused to let me rent a hand truck, even though I reserved one online. I asked why not, since they had 10 of them onsite, but she said "those are to buy only and not to rent". She was mean and nasty with each interaction.

Ryan F | Overall ExperienceIt was an easy pickup to drop off, the staff was nice and greeted me coming in the door. The truck was clean and had a good amount of gas. It did smell like cigarette smoke a little and the gas level could have been on full but this are little things that can be fixed in the future rental for us. Will definitely rent again from this location and will tell friends and family

Neisha MWe reserved a van but the vans were over booked. We were given a truck. Although we were able to complete our task, we would have preferred driving a van. I suggest a better system for reserving vehicles wherein when trying to reserve an overbooked vehicle a notification appears with a suggestion for the next most convenient vehicle.

I never checked my bank statement but was told to screw off when I said something about it. The rental was never my own. I am still contemplating legally resolving this matter. I recommended this place but cube smart will be my future go to.

I was required to vacate on feb 12th and was not given money back for days paid. I felt I should have been compensated or allowed to stay until the end of the term paid. I wound up having most of my belongings stolen because they were put outside. I was given only hours notice and I had no car to move my belongings. I am homeless so everything I owned was in that storage. I am now starting over from basically nothing.

Since access code does not work I can only come while someone is in the office, which decreased my moving/ ccess time from 10pm to 5pm. The employee said this is a common problem at the facility. If unresolved I will be moving my belongings which is a great inconvenience!
