Also if someone orders a dolly online with their truck it would be good to make sure they get that. There was a very long line of customers waiting to be helped it was obvious it was because the store was short handed. Employees were friendly. I will take this time to mention when I rented a truck on the 15th I never received my deposit back on my debit card I have called and emailed several times and the response is always call my debit card company in which I have but they say that you have to release it but I was told it was released I cannot seem to get the right person that knows where my $72 is and how I can get it back.GINA O.

Overall, the experience was better than expected, but if you need a suggestion, here it is. Answer the phone! I called to see if you had a pick up truck, called no answer, chanced it by driving all the way to get a truck, you did not have one. Luckily, someone returned a truck a moment before I drove away. Only one woman handling all operations of a facility that large...totally ridiculous. Received a 26' truck with yellow check engine light...upset because I requested another truck. She had me get back in line which the wait was between 45 to 50 minutes. This woman had to leave the register with more than 6 to 7 people waiting for service. The front end alignment was off really bad. I call before getting on the road to complain about the condition of the second vehicle. I decided " why even bother"...I had movers waiting to load truck. The young lady mentioned she was on light duty...my opinion she was getting abused with no assistance whatsoever.CARLTON B.

The truck I rented was in very bad condition. Obviously a previous serious wreck, went down the road a bit sideways, the brakes shook like a bowling ball in a dryer, I was told the truck was 3/4 full--it was very slightly over half and I can go on.Michael W.

My reservation was at 8 AM in the morning however when I arrived at the location to begin the self pick up process the website informed me that I would have to wait until the store opens at 9 AM for hand delivery I called the customer service number the customer service agent informed me that the store night crew did not properly set up my rental so I would have to wait for the store to open in order to pick up my van. when I arrive at the store at 9 AM I was very upset because I was already behind an hour on my day and when I went inside of the store they informed me that their computer system was down I waited for 15 minutes on the system and the system never came up. The manager wrote down my name on a piece of paper and let me know that he would process my information later when the system came up when I came back to return the van the system was still not up. I am very unhappy with this location I am happy that my rental was not ready at my reserved time and I am not happy that the computer system was not up when I was there at 9 AM to pick up my rental.Meia G.

I had made reservation for a Uhaul Trailer back in August/Sept of 2020 back in Santee/El Cajon Ca. I was told 4 days before hand that my location had changed to Tucson Az, next day it was changed again to Yuma AZ, the next yet again Casa Grande AZ. I left that very day to make sure I would have a trailer and not be bounced around again. My Question to you guys is Why make a reservation only to not honor it, jump me around and than drive a total of 12 hours to get a trailer? I was charged more than originally agreed upon for my original reservation. Do you even know what the word Reservation means in the business world? Quite frankly Uhauls business model is atrocious. I will never again use this horrible, dishonorable company and I would seriously encourage others to avoid Uhaul as well.STEVE R.

My experiences with the staff at this particular location have always been exceedingly and irrefutably beyond expectations, and exemplarily professional. Every staff member that I have encountered, starting with Kyle, Jackson, Williams, Anya/Arya and rest of their colleagues, are all rarities in terms of care, concern, consideration, resourcefulness, efforts, assistance/support and overall customer service, during every interaction at their location. The pick up location was great but we had a blow out on the car hauler about an hour from our destination. We were only 20 minutes from Lexington Kentucky yet we sat the side of the highway for 4 hours which was totally unacceptable. Very poor service.ZANE M.

The facility is clean and the entire staff is friendly. The manager, Mr. Hosler, was very helpful. I had to call him after hours once. Two things about the vehicle: One, it seems that one of the tire pressure sensors is dead (LR) and so you get a message on the dash readout about faulty tire pressure monitor. Also, I couldn't figure out how to make the dome light come on when the doors are open - I fiddled with the dome light switch/button and could get it to come on manually but not with the door - minor issue. Otherwise, equipment was in great shape and clean (except for the windshield).Wylie C M.

This has been the most horrific experience. We rented a storage space (which has always remained empty) as a place where our daughter who attends OU could use if she needed to leave school quickly due to COVID. Our bills were paid on auto-pay. In late January, we decided she was staying at school and that we could cancel the account. Since our name is on the account, we had to complete a document and send to the manager giving authorization to close the account and cut the lock. We live in Michigan. After that time, we were billed for another monthly fee. We contacted the store and sent a second copy of the cancellation form. I have since sent them to your store manager as a reference point. The charge we received was credited. We have then been charged again, received a lien notice, another charge and a final notice. I have send several emails to Brett the store manager to work this though as well as worked with Lisa from your customer service department. Brett will not return calls nor emails. As of right now, we have lien notice against us (without merit) as well as charges on our American Express card for monthly billing when we clearly returned the unit prior (documented). I am disappointed at this service and the lack of care and concern from your store manager Brett. I have copies of all emails sent to Brett for reference. As of this moment, we still are not clear on next steps. We need some clarity and closure here. Way way waaaaay to over priced. I went from paying $137 to now $54 a month by switching. I rented a 10' truck on 10/22/2020 'In town price' They lied and said I drove 50 miles when I did not. I went 24 miles. 11 miles there and 11 miles back, plus stopped for gas. 700 E Lindsey to 905 SE 19th st moore, ok. That is 12 miles there and 12 miles back!!!!!! One way trip!!!!! I went from paying $34.00 to $78.00 to $128.00 for 'In Town' services that advertised $19.99. Their response to me was 'Did you take a picture.' Well of course not, because I didnt think i was going to get screwed over plus it isn't my job to make sure someone can read numbers right. They made my account overdraft. So overall $128.00 charged for going 24 miles. Very dishonest and shady people. I work hard for my money and They stole from me and was not truthful about the numbers. I spoke to the manager and they did not help me at all. They said the numbers added up....yeah, lies. I spoke to customer service and they said I can file a complaint but the manager from a local store would contact me...what good would that do? I already spoke to them! I wanted corporates number. I asked the ladies 'Who read the numbers on the truck' and they did not even respond back. They were trying to save their jobs. I will NEVER come here again and I am telling everyone else to go to Public storage. They will get there moneys worth and they seem like very honest people. F U-Haul!!!Chase P. | Overall Experience

Almost everything about using U-Haul storage was positive, except for two items. 1. The post where we needed to check-in was often blocked by trailers forcing us to leave our trucks or cars and walk over to slide our card through the reader. I was told when I reserved the unit over the phone that I would maybe have to walk up a couple of stairs, but nothing major to get to the upper level. When I arrived at my unit, it turned out to be an upper level unit only accessible by a set of rolling stairs, which is not what I was told and did not suit my needs. Thankfully, the staff were very helpful and were able to move me to a ground-floor unit on the same day. In addition, the day that I arrived to move in, all of the key cards were demagnetized, so none could be activated in my name, and I ended up having to leave to go to work without having moved in because I didn't have keycard access and also did not have time. When I came back the next day, the issue was resolved, for which I was grateful. I also did not feel like I was well-informed about how to swipe into the facility, since it required swiping into two different control panels, which I never would have guessed on my own. The staff member who helped me was very kind though, which was nice. In sum, the move-in process ended up being far more difficult than I thought it would be, but everything worked out well.emma k. | First Impressions
