ROSA DAll staff were professional. The technician who helped me (I do not remember his name, but it starts with A) went above and beyond. I rented a car carrier. He took the time to help me from hooking up the unit to driving tips. He is definitely an asset to U-Haul.

ISRAEL RI am writing to formally report an absolutely unacceptable experience I had today at one of your locations while working with a representative named Ralph. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect and disregard by an employee of any company, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously. From the moment I interacted with Ralph, he was rude, condescending, and dismissive. He acted as if I didn't even exist, barely acknowledging me, and when he did, it was with an attitude that made it clear he had no interest in assisting me. At one point, he outright told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I'm "not that smart." This is beyond unprofessional-it is offensive, unacceptable, and completely inappropriate behavior for someone in a customer-facing role. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated by this experience, and I want to know what U-Haul is going to do to correct this situation. Ralph should not be interacting with customers if this is how he treats them, and I expect immediate action to be taken. I would appreciate a response detailing how this matter will be addressed. Oscar MI was given a truck at the back of the lot behind other trucks and the only truck that had snow on it, I had a person come in after me but yet had his truck out front and drove out of the lot before me even though I had booked it online. I am not happy with the way I was treated and the service I got. Also the truck has no power, you need diesel engines in those kind of vehicles especially when carrying heavy loads, gas engines are fine for vans
JEREMIAH WThe only thing I wish was communicated was that the furniture pads were in the truck, I spent about 15 min waiting for a staff to ask about the furniture pads and ended up getting new ones before we realized they were already in the truck.

CHRIS KTruck was in terrible condition, transmission kept on shifting up and down causing the truck to shake out of control, I got sick from it and returned it, I was too shaken up and sick to even work for the rest of the day, so I just left it there and cut my losses, instead of asking for a different truck. When I informed the person handling the return, her response was "what did you expect look at how many miles it has" I didn't answer her, I was too sick to even have a conversation, but to the person reading this, here is what I expect !!A WORKING TRUCK!!! but perhaps with Uhaul that's way too much to expect......................

KENNETH PThe facility is great and convenient. The issues are some of the reps that are in front. At times their busy on their personal phones and takes them a while to acknowledge the customer. Also at times, they seemed annoyed when you go to speak to them. This doesn't apply to everyone only some of the workers. Aside from that, I don't have any major or any other issues there.
PEDRO A | Overall Experienceget into the location there was no service I couldn't check in with my phone so I had to go into the front desk person greeting you there was unprofessional took a FaceTime call from my son while working with me checking in then instead of guiding me correctly to the truck, he doesn't go up the hill I came back. I couldn't find the truck then he makes a whole joke about up the hill and I was in a rush. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I finally get to the truck one of the headlights are out tire pressure lights are on. Truck didn't start right away. Never had this experience with U-Haul.
YEHOSHIAL LThe trailer I rented needed the roll up door a little repair it was rough to open. Maybe some lube or roller replacement, trailer seemed to be an old one paint faded, stickers mostly peeled off, not a good look for uhaul.

I was given a code that did not work, same with the card. He went to the front office toI fix it, I went back to the office, he was helping someone else, but gave me code 979927. The instructions were to enter the code twice in 2 different key padsto open automatic doors, which did not work.But I was able to enter from another door. I was told to check it out on my own since he was helping the other person and to go to the 2nd floor. I had no map, there are no signs, so I was walking and not finding it. He then finally came to tell me he told me the wrong floor. We finally went to the correct location. I let him know we would come back to drop off items, and I was told my card should work by then. It did not. But I used the code again 979927 . I then walked by a unit of the size that I originally wanted to rent, it said "ready for customer", so not sure why the system had the wrong info. But then later in the evening when I saw an email to tell me to set up payment, not only did I not see my rental I opened but the truck rental was gone. Today, I see the truck rental upcoming, a unit that I rented showing a different code, and an upcoming reservation with code he gave me to enter 979927. Can someone please help me fix my account? Not a great start :(

Lamont E | Overall ExperienceI was not pleased with the customer service from Nanuet U-Haul facility staff. Stephanie was okay to work with, whoever the other African American lady is she has working alongside her is unprofessional and rude. She doesn't know how to provide respectful and courteous customer service. She doesn't know how to speak to people. No customer service etiquette, she acts like she can't be bothered to help people. There should be someone on shift that can inspect the storage bins once they are emptied because I had to wait till the next day to get my unit inspected. When bills are late you get multiple calls a day which is a little predatory, and the elevator is barely ever working, and it takes a long time to repair when it is not working. There is usually garbage downstairs in the main entrance. On the day I was clearing out my unit another customer fell in her unit and called for help and none of the staff on duty went up there to help her. My son and I had to physically help her up from the unit floor. If people hate their job at U-Haul they should quit, and if they are going to work there, they should get customer service training because their customer service skills suck. When I had an issue with the staff in the main office, I was forwarded to a customer service rep over the phone and I'm pretty sure nothing came of my complaint. U-Haul needs to do better. U-Haul makes enough money monthly from each customer to be able to afford Customer Service trainings and seminars. Their attitude is unmotivating and im hopeful I won't need to use U-Haul storage facility again.

I know it's hard getting good employees.

When I went to actually get keys and go into reserved storage they "didn't know anything" weren't aware said the lady who had arranged it wasn't a worker from that location and they gave me a second floor storage when I had requested first floor as i have issues with walking It was very frustrating and I won't be doing storage with uhaul again. It was a long day as we waited for our load to arrive. The Staff directed us to the Mall; upon our return, made several inquiries as to our comfort. The Unit was switched to larger size without rancor and cooperation. Finally, although closed, Angelo gave instructions for use of lock box and that our rented equipment could be (and was) left in locked truck. A Good Day! Looking forward to a mutually rewarding experience.
