I still have not received the final receipt that I was told would be emailed to me when I dropped off the truck. I did not use all my estimated mileage and should be getting a small refund (only about $5 so no real big deal). Home Depot has a better and clearer process for checking in the vehicles.

SANDRA SOnly issue was after hours drop off. I think a lot of people showed up after hours and just left equipment wherever they felt it was good instead of in an orderly way. I barely managed to find a spy for the trailer return. Besides that, staff was great.

WILLIAM HThis Uhaul Storage facility has been REALLY GREAT! Nice staff and great service all around. I would recommend it to anyone. The prices are a little higher, but its not everywhere that you can also rent a truck to move your stuff too, which is a major plus.

PATRICIA RGet the office personnel out of their chairs and have them assist customers checking out and checking in vehicles. Your APP is a waste of everyone's time and when reported as not functioning, the counter people did not seem surprised. The final bill was not accurate in the mileage category as assured by the check in person. Wasn't off by enough to waste the time and fuel to go back for $2.87 but if this is happening on a regular basis, it could be a pattern. Van was not swept out before I utilized it--I cleaned it before returning it. Just does not seem to be much enthusiasm at this location for the work they do.

MAE CNice location, good truck, horrible self-checkout process with uhaul. I placed my order, confirmed my order, and confirmed the pickup time. Once I arrived, everything worked except for the app. The app stated that I needed to contact customer service... 7:00am on a Sunday? Sweet. After a 20 minute hold time, I was connected to a customer service rep. He was very nice and understood the issue. He stated that there was never a truck assigned to the order. Then he had me close the application because "it doesn't work", and use the website to finish my checkout. Sure enough the fix was use chrome instead the uhaul app. This little "bobble" of technology ate an hour of my moving time. I paid 3 people to sit around for an hour while I messed with a uhaul app on my phone that the service rep and uhaul knows doesn't work. The wasted money in labor was more than the money spent on the truck. Thanks uhaul.

LAURENCE SI have used this location 3 times for local moves in the past 3 years I have always had excellent experiences with the staff and trucks/equipment.
DAVID SPlease make sure your pick up miles are correct, my miles were off by 2 Miles and make sure you let them know when the gas is over to make sure you get the credit like they said you'll get. I'm not sure what mine was because i never received a final receipt.
CESAR ABefore a key is handed out make sure the truck is on property. When I did get a key the truck had less then a 1/4 tank of gas.
MARK WThe customer service was great and it was easy to rent. I did find some trash in the passenger side of the truck and the windows were a little dirty so I used the vehicle window washer/wiper blades to clean before driving off the lot. I will rent here again because the team provides good service.

They have everything needed for one-stop shopping for supplies. They even have recycle boxes from other movers that you can take for free. Will use them again.

ERIC UI just rented the unit a couple of days ago and today I was trying to acces my unit and my code to go in was disabled and I called customer service for that couldn’t help me at all with the issue they called the manager and he never respond I needed some documents I had in there super important was at the facility for longer then two hrs and no body in Customer service was able to help me get acces really disappointed and I would never recommend u guys storage unit to any one

Nghia TI asked for 8 weeks straight to get the lights fixed in the hallway right above my storage and they purposely choose to change lights of people who didn't even pay rent than to change mines. The excuse by the manager (white male with Grey bear) told me he had some and he would do it and had some on order. I asked in person 7 times and over the phone 4. Was not done until I made the manager come put them up so I could see inside my storage unit. When people who don't make their rent have the privilege of having lights why should I be even paying my rent then?

JENEVIEVE SThe van was extremely filthy on the outside. Looked like it had not been washed for weeks. After the third day up I had it I needed to move passenger seat forward yet I found two large empty behind the seat. This is horrible and proved that nobody cleaned this van. To top it off there's no front license plate attached to the van. I could have gotten pulled over and could have been in huge plomem if police noticed the empty beer cans that your employees left

Bill VI came in and a very nice guy named Andrew and his friend talked me through the options availble for a hitch and a 4 bike rack. I made it clear that I have never used these things before so could they walk me through the loading/unloading and mount/dismount of the rack after they installed it. They reassured me that was not a problem and so I went ahead and made the arrangements to come back when the parts were in for an install. I came back 1.5 week later for the appointment but these guys were not there but instead a very gruff terse guy was who was clearly irritated that he had to assemble the rack. Ended up charging me extra. Then it was like pulling teeth to get him to explain what I had to do with the mount/dismount and load/unload. Even through an f-,bomb about something. Told me I needed. 22 inch socket which wasn't sold there. So I went home then decided to come back as I really didn't understand the dismiunt. Good thing I did as the very nice woman helping found out it was a 23 inch not 22. Good thing I didn't go somewhere to buy one. Overall, I was not happy that the install guy was so terse. The reason I bought from uhaul was that I went in and was assured they would help. They didn't.
ajay sNathan Ball was efficient and well experienced. He was clearly committed to high customer satisfaction. The other team members I interacted with in scheduling and rescheduling my hitch installation were very professional. Experience was overall great. I highly recommend this facility!

Sara L | Overall ExperienceSo…at some point the credit card I had in file expired, and your team apparently cut my lock and put their own on. So even though I updated with a new card almost a year ago and was up to date on all my payments, your team claimed to not know how that lock got on there or why. Then they didn't want to cut the lock off for me. Wasted hours of my life trying to resolve that. Eventually I got to empty my stuff out and went to close out the contract. And when doing so I saw on their screen where it asked if the user was in the military. So I ask, "why would you need to know that?" To which they responded with, "because we have a military discount, did nobody ask you that when you rented the storage space?" To which I responded, "of course not!" So… by my calculations I lost out on about $288. But at least I had rude employees there to deal with on top of it. This is probably just one example of why the overall review on this particular establishment is 1-2 stars, depending on where you look. Lots of room for improvement at this place. Hope this helps.
SEAN H | Overall ExperienceI have rented a storage unit at U-haul of Miramar for 3 and a half years. I have been very happy right from the start especially with the outstanding service here! When I first moved in an issue arose that I had inadvertantly neglected to properly lock and secure my unit. I received a call from the manager right away and when I explained I was living on the east coast and could not come in and correct the issue, he told me not to worry, that he could handle it for me (removing the old lock and putting a new one on the unit and holding the keys for me in the office. More recently I have been spending a great deal of time at the storage unit as I have been clearing out unit in preparation for a move back across the country to the east coast. Over the past month I have been there nearly every day and I have had many interactions with various members of the staff here. Everyone has been helpful, attentive, personable and generous with their time. The manager, Caroline, has been always professional, prompt and efficient in handling issues; she has been very generous and kind as well. She deserves recognition too, for taking good care of all the many details that also contribute to making this business exceptional. The facility is kept clean (even the bathroom is spotless!); and the temperature is always comfortable. The best thing of all of though is all of the people who work here, and what a great job they do of taking care of customers. I truly am going to miss all of them.

And there is no one who can be called after hours. The first guy gave me a military discount of 10% and the second guy said there was no such thing. So that was confusing.

The only complaint is your Accounting Software -- It needs replacing & updating; PLUS each new & old Staff Member should be trained on your current Computer Software that you have so they know how to correctly use it when handling customer transactions. What is someone to do if, as in my case, they drive 2500 miles and then do not have the unit they reserved? Dump their belongings on the street? Luckily I was able to make other arrangements... My life since April 2020 has been the most financially, physically, and mentally challenging in my 60 year life thus far. I gave away a lot of good furniture in the facility's community area, as well as a few items to a U-Haul employee. You hold out, hoping things turn around in your life, and nothing happens. Thank You, U-Haul corporate and the Miramar U-Haul facility for the storage unit move out offer. I've rented about 40 U-Haul trailers in the past 4 years or so. I'm sorry you incurred a financial loss in my storage unit rent on my behalf. I'm looking forward to seeing brighter days ahead in my life. I am a long term U-Haul customer. Thanks Again. IT and the about 2 weeks later he tells me I need a subpoena to see the tapes your storage facility is bulkshit you guys don’t care and you should take the sign off that says we record to help if this situation happens and that is a lie I was told I need a subpoena and there are no cameras here my unit was I just bought over 1500 dollars of brand new decorations and plus the ones I had I there all gone and I was treated very crappy but the employees and no one helped me so now I am going g to seek a lawyer or I am going to the news because I think the employees are on drugs or something worse situation ever I paid my storage on time never late and I get treated like this hate to see how you treat people who don’t pay
