This was my first time using the mobile app to pickup and return the equipment. The process took a little longer than anticipated due to my unfamiliarity and trying to find the scan code. Also the truck was not near the front, but parked away from the facility. It would have been easier if the truck was a little closer to the main building, so I did not have to walk back and forth to locate the truck and then get the keyCarlton R.

Service at the facility was great! I couldn't ask for better. Whoever I spoke with on the phone informed me that the 10' truck has three seats. Not true. I had to upgrade to 15'. Overall it worked out better anyway but correct information needs to be disseminated.Felicia P.
Reservation moved to this location which did not have any truck for rent. Waited for another customer to return a truck 3hrs pass my original reservation. Make sure the size truck that I reserved is available for use, actually provide me the moving materials I paid for (dollies, moving blankets), and don't act like working at UHaul is the literal last thing you'd rather be doing right now. The staff will never answer the phone. Constantly had issues with the gate, with only the general customer service line to help because no staff would be present. Had issues cancelling my storage because they would never get back to me, even when reaching out during business hours. Mistakes were also made while writing the contract. We were directed to the wrong storage, which luckily didn't cause major issues, considering nobody would have known it was our stuff. Horribly, horribly managed.Kelian G. | Overall Experience

Atlantic Avenue employees could have been a little more enthusiastic about their job. **I originally did an online rental with Security Self Storage in Knightdale NC. Online said PU Sunday 10-17 however they're not open on Sunday & their employee said nothing she could do!! SOâ€¦ I had to scramble for another truck at last minute. VERY inconvenient. UHaul corporate helped & we worked it out. If Security isn't gonna be open then they don't need to be a dealer!!!STACEY W.

When I called to get the trailer I told them what I needed it for. The trailer was too small. I wasted 150.00. Some of this money should have been refunded because your people made the error. The 2 people that ran the store, were very polite, helpful and customer service oriented. The woman service agent spent extra time with me to correct a UHaul website reservation issue (not sure why this happened, but your website definitely has issues) -- and corrected the problem promptly. Picking up the truck with Truck Share was somewhat of a hassle, because I didn't realize I would need to list an alternate contact while completing the pickup process on my phone. I didn't have any alternate contacts who were able to answer their phones right at that moment, so it is fortunate that I could simply go into the building to complete the pickup. However, if I were picking up the truck outside of business hours, I might have been stuck, simply because my viable contacts couldn't answer the phone. Taking care of the alternate contact issue before pickup day would be better.Tobias H.

Good running van, thanks. The app is a bit tough to use, keep working on this. The "is your van clean enough for the next family" question is strange and in the fee when selecting NO is outrageous. When I picked up the van the Oil Change Required light was on. Also the air conditioning did not work in the van. This was extremely unfortunate as I had 3 days of driving in a very hot van. When I pointed this out to the clerk she did not even apologize or offer a discount. This is very disappointing. Additionally the van I rented in August had the Low Washer fluid light on the whole time. I would expect these things to be addressed before sending a van back out on the road.Jennifer M.
Anaya Hall was extremely rude the minute I walked in until the time I left. The entire U-haul experience was horrible for me and I'm not sure if I want to return. I have used u-haul several times and have never been treated like this before.MONTIAH T.
First trailer was not hook up properly and 5 miles down the road the trailer came off of my suv. Thank the lord I was only going 5 mph when this happened and thank the lord it happen in a Parking lot. Two men had to help me put the 5 x 8 trailer back on. Once I loaded up the furniture I had bought, I made my way back to the U haul store and exchange the trailer for another trailer. Uhaul associate stated I should be fine with the one I had and he didn't know how it came off. I eventually got him to let me switch it out for another 5 x 8 trailer which I then had no issues with. The first trailer I had needs to be trashed because people's safety are at risk. This uhaul location was busy and not enough help. I did not feel like my safety was a priority and being a female that is important to me when I rent something I need to tow. I have towed plenty of things before and have never questioned my safety. This place gave me major anxiety and I do not appreciate the employees brushing it off like I was fine and nothing was wrong with the first trailer. If a customer says they want another piece of equipment because they do not feel safe, you trade it out instead of trying to convince me that I will be fine for a two hour drive down the road. It is still a mystery on how the trailer came off the carâ€¦Anna Z.
I'll never rent from Uhaul again. This is the second time I've RESERVED a truck at this location and got there to find that my reservation was moved across town because this location didn't have the truck that I RESERVED. When I picked up the vehicle the inside was very clean. The staff at this location were fantastic! The only issue-The windshield/mirrors were dirty and there was no windshield wiper fluid in the van that I rented (none at all). However the two men on duty took care of this issue as soon as I brought it to their attention. They did a great job fixing the issue! The cargo van was very easy to drive and was the perfect size for what we needed. I would definitely rent from UHaul and from this location again!Kimberly S.

At pick up the staff was very unfriendly. Drop of was horrendous. I waited about 30 min to be acknowledged. The two gentleman were rude and unprofessional. They spoke as if UHAUL was a different entity and they were not a representative of UHAUL. I brought to the attention of both gentlemen working on 9/17/21 @ 6:30pm that there was an error in my charges. I did not use all of the mileage that I originally estimated. They refused to adjust my bill. They also charged me for gas even though I returned the truck with the same amount of gas I receive it with. I had pictures of both the gas and mileage at pick up and drop off but no one cared. I was just told that there was nothing that could be done, "UHAUL will get you" is what I was told and I could come back or call the next day to speak to the manager. When I rented the truck I think I got like 4 emails. I dropped the equipment off early. Caught guy outside doing another truck no signs what I needed to do. He explained just leave keys in truck and leave. Which is great, but nothing that said (email) we have closed the invoice thank you for using Uhaul ? Like some kind of closure? Still not sure? The facility is above average in maintenance and cleanliness. Storage staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were not as helpful - but once we figured out to ask the right questions to get checked in, this was an easy move. Wish front desk staff were more helpful; especially since this was our first time at any storage and we weren't clear on how to get checked in and assigned a unit. The first trip to the on-site at Atlantic took about two hours of waiting as the young lady didn't know how to complete my requests. Very frustrating so I left and took care of it online. She was pleasant but very distracted with everything else going on and not handling the person in front of her. Other people walked out, too.
