The location is fine. The mobile check in and check out did not work. We were told we could get the truck by 8:00. My husband had to wait until 9:00 for them to open and get the keys. It put us an hour behind. We were charged for dollys and we said no to them and did not need them.Michael L.

This complaint is not about this location (this location was absolutely phenomenal!!!) , but about a representative I had on the phone helping me with my original reservation. Hazel Sylvester. When I originally booked a uhaul it was to pick up at Arkham tires in belton, tx. When I got there no one was there and I couldn't do anything on the phone. I called and they got me set up to do the truck share. So I try to do that and it didn't work so I called back and that is when I got transferred to hazel. She was helping me out at first and then when I asked her if I could just switch my stuff to just pick up and the uhaul right down the road, that's when she â€œcouldn't hear meâ€ and authorized around $150 on my card. And added the safemove stuff onto my reservation, then she hung up and called me back. She did get it reversed thankfully but her demeanor after that changed when I told her I didn't authorize that and I asked if I could just cancel that reservation. It was a mess. Even though I had made a reservation nearly two weeks ahead of time and called to confirm the pickup location the day of the scheduled pickup, the truck I reserved was not available at the confirmed location and I had to drive to a different location 30 miles away to pick up a truck that met the size requirements I had specified on my reservation. It was a very frustrating experience to have made the reservation well in advance, confirmed the pickup location, and then to arrive and be told what I reserved was not available after all and I would have to drive well out of my way to retrieve what I reserved. I think Uhaul can do a better job of honoring customers' reservations and ensuring that the equipment reserved is at the location confirmed, or making more of an effort to have the equipment brought to the pickup site, if in any event what is reserved is not available at the location requested.JULIANA M.

The reservation process was super easy, the checkin process was quick and simple. They helped me hook up the trailer to my truck and made sure everything worked. Turn in was super easy also. The truck I was issued was in a dirty, unsafe, horrific condition. I took pictures and sent them to Uhaul, requesting a call back. The Check Engine Light was on, the floor board was dirty with dried mud, the visor was taped to the inside roof because it had a missing visor clip (the tap did not hold & the visor kept falling down.) and duck tape on the steering wheel due to the sticky erosion of the plastic coating. I began driving it when got angry and took it back demanding to have a presentable & safe vehicle. The staff appeared to be annoyed. I would like to talk to someone about this. I attempted to use Uhaul Chat, but got no response after I presented my disappointment & pictures. Soooooo hmmmmSusan Q.

The truck they gave me didn't have a a key that opened the Drivers side door so I had to unload the cab and climb through the passenger side door everytime I locked the truck. Then during a rainstorm I turned the wipers on and the drivers side wiper pops off. U-haul should be thankful that I didn't lose control of the truck and cause an accident because I was given a truck that was not safe to be on the road.Mark B.

Uhaul main office did not communicate with this location regarding my order. It was supposed to be delivered to a different Uhaul location. I had to make many phone calls and visit this site in person several times before I ended up having to get a trailer to put the Ubox on and tow it myself to the correct location. It arrived at my location 2 days later than I had expected. The incompetence of the U-Haul office (Corporate) was beyond frustrating. I had movers set up and ready to go only to be told that night before that the Ubox would not be going to the new site. I was lucky to have family in town who helped me get the Ubox unloaded and back to the U-Haul location within a day. This is my 2nd time using a U-Box and have had only problems with 1-800-GO-UHAUL communicating properly on where the item is to be shipped to. Please fix this for the sake of the next family that must endure problems with communication. I for one will never use a U-Box again.KIMBERLY ANN S.

I have no issues with this location. They were friendly and helpful. My issue is with customer service, who made a storage and drop off reservation in Killeen (24 minutes away) and when I arrived I was told that the room promised wasn't available. So I had to drive that distance each way and spend extra time and money. Plus my future costs will be more. This wasn't supposed to be my drop off location but the storage had had reserved 24 miles away in Killeen, TX wasn't available. Very inconvenient experience that cost me allot of money and will cost more when I move my household good from storage to Killeen. I waited 30 minutes outside a closed affiliated location and only after I called U-Haul did I find out that I had to go to another location to pick-up the truck. I do not recommend it to anyone they will try to steal your money they gave me a truck and I returned it with exactly the same amount of gasoline as it was delivered to me the one who attended me wanted to charge me 36 dollars more in a few words the remedy was worse than the disease when he The local manager said to solve the problem, I ended up paying more than what was said at the beginning, I took photos of the mileage and gasoline when I took the vehicle and when I showed it to him, he told me how I know that this is true and I answered him because the mileage of the paper that he gave me initially he was in the photo I took, he was very disrespectful and left the place saying that he was not going to argue with me, a terrible answer because if he is not willing to argue with a client he should not work at costumer service, I will never use this place again i am very dissapointedlorena D.

They can't even get their system right, the access doors barely work and you have to be there during work hours to get into your stuff. You're locked out at their convenience. The driveway on the side of the Climate control buildings are bad, and unleveled. Not good for low profile vehicles and if it rains it can be muddy n slippery, with the left side having a little dip. If a tire slide over to the left, tires can slip down. Have some steep dips in this driveway area, especially on the left side, which scraped the bottom of my car. I had to change buildings to avoid driving to the back buildings. Needs leveling out, or maybe concrete layed down. My move out date on here is incorrect. I reserved a unit at the location at 215 SW dodgen loop with a uhaul rep over the phone. When I arrived i was informed no unit would be available for many days, and it was blamed on the uhaul corporate rep I reserved through. The local employee helped to secure a unit at another facility. I expect to be given accurate info during the planning process, and the disconnect between local and corporate entities is unacceptable business practice. I had rented a truck to San Antonio, and we needed to drop it off by Monday 9AM. The storage unit we originally reserved was closed on Sunday, and Saturday evening when we arrived to central Texas. Therefore, I called U-Haul to see what were my options, and the representative told me I can use self storage with U-Haul and get the first month free. They even let us drop off the truck in that same location. Great customer service from the lady at the temple location off 35 on a general Bruce drive. She was super friendly, and took time to explain how the key card works. She really helped me feel at ease to be able to unpack the truck, and turn in the truck in time. overall satisfied with storage unit, my issue is with the way the office was run. Was told one rate when initially got storage and paid for lock. Then received a bill sooner than expected at a higher rate.. Unable to find original receipt just paid bill. At move out was told to keep lock because it was free, told counter lady I paid for it and she said I shouldn't have. I asked for refund on lock was told no. I moved out my unit on the 4th of July and was told if I spoke to the manager I could get my refund for the month however nothing has happened. I had to call the facility again because I didn't see a refund on my account nor was the unit actually closed out. I had to relocate due to domestic violence in my home and needed the money for gas.
