I was charged 25.00 for cleaning for what? There was no trash,debri or dirt! I dusted off the interior and even dusted out the little debri in floorboard area. I may have left small paper receipt on dash. However, I don't feel as if I should've been charged 25 bucks for one piece of paper

The truck rental went fine ,but my wife rented a storage unit and that was a disaster. The unit they gave her had padlocks on it . We called and told them that and they said the GM would call us and come down to help us and he never showed up .I had to drive back to the office and they gave us a new unit that was empty.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50% of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.

Check out takes way too much time... I even did the online check-in before I went to pick -up the trailer. I have rented the same trailer before and from the same location.

Took a while to get processed to pick up the truck. This ate into the time we had to move. Then our son broke his collarbone during the move, which made it so we returned the truck a few hours late, (after hours anyways.) We were charged a late fee. Not impressed.

Just received lost charge for $170 which is abusive. Was late returning to unfortunate circumstances and was told I would be charged another $39.95. There was no mention of an extreme charge for anything else. This seems to be an underhanded way to increase your revenue and gouge your customer. Surely not a way to endear your customer. We did not lose or damage the vehicle in any way and consider this charge unwarranted. Please advise.

The U Haul/Share process needs to be improved. Also when I tried to call the 800 number multiple times I was on hold for long periods and wasn't able to reach a live person. I finally was able to get someone on the phone and arrange a rental, but then was switched to the U Haul Share when I went to pick up a truck. One of the staff in the store was helpful, the other guy was unhelpful. I've used this location in the past several times. This time was not my best experience.

The lights in the rear of the truck did not work. The truck had so much damage I shouldn't have even purchased insurance on it. Even though I made sure the truck was driving and the green it went through way too much gas. The mileage was 10 miles off but because I didn't take a picture of it I don't have any proof.

The pick up and drop off service was the worse and there was no one there to assist plus the internet service was horrible took us 1 hr just to pick up and another 1hr to drop off.

The store branch in Middletown made it hard to extend the dates had to call corporate each time. Spent 1000 plus and got charged 95 for what I thought was a 7 charge for a dolly . Used it the last day . If I knew it would charge me 100 I would've never used it. I'll will never use U-Haul for anything again 200 to use 6 pads and a dolly . I would've kept them for that price ! Insane spend a thousand dollars on service then returned it earlier then I thought but covered it for a week . The sign is false advertisement only 7 $ doesn't say per day or rental period it's a scam a rip off ! Should be illegal ! Then the truck smelled like a old mechanic. Shocks were bad bounced everywhere. Only drove 68 miles it sat most of the time . Unhappy WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially from Middletown ! What a joke !

I rented a trailer for a few days and Allison took great care of me, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was patient with explaining everything and answering all of my questions, she definitely made everything very easy for me and was very professional.

Dealing with U-Haul has been very difficult. I tried to reserve a vehicle days ahead of time, but that was not permitted. I had to travel from Cincinnati to Middletown in order to pick up a truck. I was told that trucks were available in Cincinnati, but they couldn't be reserved. My destination was Springfield, but I wasn't allowed to reserve a truck there either. So, once I picked one up at Middletown, I was told at check-in that I would have to return it to Middletown rather than Cincinnati. That made it doubly difficult. I had to travel from Cincinnati to Middletown, then to Springfield, then to my destination and then back to Middletown all before 5:00 on the same day! I was told that the corporate office wouldn't release vehicles to reserve because they had such trouble double-booking. Well, that seems like something that can be remedied. Although I got it back in time, it made things extremely complicated and more expensive because I had to drive extra miles that I didn't count on.

The workers had me come back the next day to load my car on a car dolly that was supposed to be there, it wasn't. They told me to leave my car overnight, gp load the trailer and come back the next day. I did this and upon my return there was no help. They attached the trailer to my truck and told me to load my car. I was unfamiliar with there trailer and needed assistance and when I got the car in position I couldn't see ahead well enough to load it. Very bad.

I booked my truck and storage unit at the same time online. Check in I had to make new reservations. The store manager refused to give me the free storage promotion and I had problems with everything.

Never answer phones, ONE employee for forms & hook up equipment. You arrive at 9 a.m. to pick a reserved trailer, wait an hour then are expected to have a 24 hr. rental for 23 hrs.! Poor management.
