I have rented moving trucks from uhaul 7 or 8 times and this by far was my worst experience. The customer service was terrible and when the manager got involved it didn't get much better. The tech that helped us was lethargic and barely spoke. He forgot to give us the dolly we rented and when I went back in the store to tell him he sighed with no apology. Just silently walked to the back to grab it. Not to mention the first truck they gave us shook violently and we had to drive back to the store to get it exchanged. If you care about customer service and quality equipment please don't rent from here.Jessica S.

The staff was friendly and showed me some best practices to use when connecting this type of trailer. My only complaint is that the trailer tires were not in safe traveling condition. I don't know where the blame lies, but the tire condition was a recipe for disaster. I noticed, after fully loading and preparing for the 900 mile trip, that the right tire had a 2â€ diameter missing piece of tread with cords showing. The other tire was worn to the wear bars. I called for roadside assistance and had one (used) tire put on the right side and showed the left side to the Tech at that time but he only had one replacement. The next morning, the just replaced tire was low so I hade to take it to the Uhaul center in Fresno. The Service Manager was understanding and went out of his way to make sure I was updated with the repairs and how long they would take. He replaced both tires. That was great piece of mind for my 900 mile trip.Brent R.

Be fair to customers, don't over rate them for days that customers rent the vehicle's for. Period. Don't disrespect them by not answering their phone calls for hours like they've to me. And send them to a phone number that doesn't pick up to answer the customers........Chris S.

Trailer tail lights did not work. Upon checkout in Fresno the agent said that the lights were working. I did not personally check them on checkout. During my homeward night time trip I made a roadside stop and discovered that only the upper turn signal lights were working. I checked all wiring but did not find the fault. The General manager just asked me my name gave me the keys and pointed to the row of trucks. I wish I could attach the pictures I took of the inside of the cab. Was there over an hour as the first truck assigned which was reported to have gas was empty due to theft and wouldn't start. The next truck assigned had the same issue. Finally the third truck which was also siphened of gas started and I received a gallon to get to the.closest station which was more expensive than most. The staff acted like it was a common occurrence and no big deal. I however lost over an hour of time and not real happy. I picked up the truck they told me it had a quarter tank in it it was empty completely someone had siphoned the gas so I went and spent $62 on a quarter tank just to drive around town and then when I did the math for that quarter tank versus the 41 miles I used it said I was using 3.5 gallons per mile. Got stuck on the side of the road had to call roadside assistance to come out and repair the truck was not refunded for the quarter tank that I had to turn the truck in with feels like you all burn me all together lost time on the road trying to get back to where I was going. 2 hours stuck because they didn't inspect the truck. I had originally asked for 2 furniture dollies & 12 furniture pads & when I went they were not available. I had to get regular dolly and blankets. Also the guy that checked me in when I arrived was super slow. When I would ask him something he would take like 5min pauses & looked up in mid air & ignored me then go back to the check in process that took like 35min to complete. Worst customer service I don't think I will go back to this location .Ignacio G.

Well, unfortunately this particular review doesn't even begin to cover my experience with U-Haul last weekend. The reason I ended up at 749 N. Blackstone was because my original reservation at 6116 N. Blackstone was somehow not confirmed. I spent 55 minutes trying to do the mobile check-in while communicating with a half dozen U-Haul representatives along the way. It wasn't till I got to the 6th person was she able to tell me I had no reservation. She said the only way I'd possibly get a truck was to start a new order right then and go to the U-Haul facility that had the truck and rent it in person. Let me back up a minute to when I made the reservation on Tuesday, April 12th. The next day I was contacted by somebody from U-Haul saying that the truck I wanted was not available and I'd have to pick it up at a different location (much farther away mind you), but I said Okay. A mere 15 minutes later the same gal called back and said my 15' wasn't available at the second location but she was willing to upgrade me to a 20' for the same price. And then before hanging up she says "wait, the 15' truck is available at 6116 N. Blackstone. Unreal!!!! So, the rest of the week I keep getting texts from U-Haul, confirming my reservation, verifying driver's license, pre-check-in, final check-in.... Are you kidding me? It's a truck for crying out loud, I'm not applying to the FBI. So now instead of being able to start at an early hour, I'm 2 1/2 hours behind and very upset. Also, I have 2 charges on my account for the 2 separate reservations. I would have thought the credit would have been processed post haste. But hey, that would only be good customer service.... Original rental vehicle was released with low tire pressure due to nail in tire. Second vehicle had dusty/unclean cab. Do walk throughs with the trucks while I was there I over heard a customer saying a catalytic converters was missing and gas from the truck he rented when I got mine I was just handed keys and was told that's it I took pictures myself for any inconvenience when I returned the truck they said just leave keys they will inspect later hours later I was called by a employee asking why I did not return the rental which scared me because I did and now I was going to be charged they hung up as I was talking and I called back it routed me to customer service not the store and was told I was being charged for gas and 20 miles I'm very unhappy with this situation and shouldn't of have to go out my way to keep calling back to make sure I'm not getting charged unnecessary fees like coverage too I won't be renting again it was not a good experiencewendie L.

The person that helped me was very rude. The process of getting the unit took almost an hour. Even though i had already did everything online before arriving. Then once all the paperwork was done i went to locate my storage unit only to find that they had rented someone elses unit.
