Sarah NWe had to pick up the car transport from a different location than we had originally planned because of the time it took for us to load the truck and your people refused to honor the package price instead of charging me $134 for the auto transport with the truck. You guys charged me over $400. What a rip off no customer service no help just kept sending me to different people on the phone and the lady in the office was no help at all.
HEATHER KThe rep was nice but the process was a disaster. The unit wasn't the one that I signed up for and they weren't able to supply the one I needed. There was a POLE in the middle of my unit as well which I NEVER agreed to. Because of these issues I had to extend my truck rental, which they charged me $40 extra to do, despite their screw ups costing me moving time. The whole thing was a nightmare. It's nice that there is climate control and the front desk lady did what should could but the whole thing sucked.

JASON WThe uhaul location said it was open til 8, when I arrived at 7 to return the uhaul the building was closed. The vehicle breaks are difficult and the vehicle was not a smooth ride at all.

James RThis is the best U-hual location I've ever been too. The staff was very nice and helpful, and they answered all of my questions. The equipment (truck) was very nice quality, well maintained and easy to drive. When I use U-hual in the future I will definitely use this location. I also recommend it to anyone I know who needs equipment rentals.

BETH FDid I plan ahead and make a reservation? Yes. Did that reservation lock a price in? No. Did I have the same pickup location? No. Was customer service helpful or understanding? No. Was the truck clean from the previous use. No, but at least their old nasty snacks and drink were available if I got hungry.

MILES MMaybe encourage the male Employees m,who served me not to complain about being at work and having I don't attitude in several ways,including making me take a larger vehicle, without explanation of why there several smaller vehicles there and at least 1 returning behind next as we spoke and displayed a very solid lackadaisical demeanor. The return was smooth and simple.

ROBERT NWell what was suppose to be $29.95 ended up being $65.00. Always hidden purchases. Insurance, mileage, tax. Why don't you give customers the real charge with a standard mileage already included with insurance. Give a set price and just add your tax. I think they would be happier knowing what to really expect. Thank you for listening.
CYNTHIA DWe found multiple cockroaches in our unit and the manager was less than helpful during the whole process. I asked for a call back multiple times and she was never there or would write a note for someone to relay a message. Very unprofessional. We ended up signing an abandonment letter and leaving our roach covered things.

After 20 minutes I called inside and they said to leave my keys in the truck and that I was good to go. WASTE OF TIME.

DANIELLE RI drove a Uhaul truck and car transport from Ohio to Texas on expired tags. The tags date was December 2021. I paid $1466.01 for this truck, UHaul took an extra $75 dollars from me, they claim that they did not see it being taken on their end, but it showed on my bank statement. Once I got into Texas, the tire blew out on the trailer. I called the roadside assistance for help at 12:04 pm. I waited, and waited and waited for assistance. Roadside finally came at 2:57 pm. We were standing in the hot son, just waiting. When the roadside help came, he did work really good with getting us back on the road. I was supposed to had been in Texas at my destination by 2pm so I could have gotten my keys to my new place. That did not work out on time so I had no place to go for the night. When I spoke to roadside assistance on the phone, her name was RJ, she told us that U-haul would refund me for the mishap and for the long wait I had. After dropping the equipment off, I checked my bank account, to my surprise, U-Haul had taken an extra $117.50 from my account. Nobody could tell me why. Instead of them giving me a refund or my deposit back, they helped themselves to my bank account and now I am out of money for gas, food and necessities. I am just so over this company. The least they could have done was put some of my money back on my card. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

SHAWN SThere is a terrible air leak on the drivers door, it whistles really loud while on the road. It could use new rubber strip on the drivers door. It was terribly annoying, especially for a 400 mile trip.

RICHARD SWe were supposed to pick up the truck at 5 but when we arrived I used the online check in which wasn't helpful or fast since I still had to go inside and then they couldn't find the keys so we were there for over an houand still had to go in a different truck. Terrible.

I know things happen, but what happened here and the experience I had was horrible and added until an already stressful situation of moving a a distance. I ordered all the things I need on July 26th. Truck, storage unit, movers, etc. We'll everything was smooth at first with Uhaul itself. I call the location in my new city and stated my concerns of not arriving on time to check in, the lady assured me not to worry and I have self serve check in and it will go along easily. Well I use the link she sent, immediately it says online check in not available. I was still there 5 minutes before hand and was greayes with systems are already closed, sorry about my luck. My movers were here and already on clock when the mishap happen, they were able to check me in manually and gave me my unit number. I get to my unit, and instead of telling me the size I ordered was no longer available, they just gave me two units that "should of" equaled to the same size, upon using my tape measure, it did not. They already left so I had no way to take care of the issues. I texted the emergency line and they told me "pick another unit" well I did and now I'm being charged for the original 2 plus the 3rd they told me to take. If they would of just told me, I would of taken an outside unit or something even larger. I just needed my things to fit. Instead, because of this I had to pay my movers an extra large lump sum of money, and I'm paying for an extra unit I wasnt expecting. I do not recommend this location. I get the point of self service, but some kind of actual help would be nice. And not just people pushing you through and making you feel like a bother when needing some kind of assistance.

I also appreciate the 1st month free for storage, I was low on funds moving, so that definitely was a BIG HELP!! I would highly recommend U-Haul.

Joyce P | Overall ExperienceStaff were friendly but overworked and it was way too much for them to do. They had trucks lined up to the road and people coming in to do business. It took them a while to come out and let me into my unit because it had been double locked. They were even too busy to be able to go in from cleaning trucks and check me out after I cleaned out my unit. I had to call the next day(sunday) to ask that I be checked out if the unit. This is not the staff's fault it is management's fault for not staffing better.
Ryan W | Overall ExperienceMy only complaint is that upon closing out my storage unit account when I removed my things on February 10, I was required to pay for February on January 21, which I did. I paid my account on time every month for almost three years and the cost went up $10.00 every year, and I was eventually paying over $200.00 a month. I was told when I secured the storage unit that whenever I ended it, that I would be pro-rated for the amount left over in a month. When I asked about that on February 10, not even half way into the month, I was told very rudely by some woman that was very rude from the beginning of the day when I even rented a truck from them as well, giving them even more money, that "we don't pro-rate" and she walked away. No explanation, no giving me the chance to ask questions or look up my contract, nothing. She was a complete jerk from minute one of the day about everything. She shouldn't be working for customers if that's her personality or if she hates her job that much. I would recommend U-Haul overall highly, but this makes me reconsider that because she represents U-Haul and allows her to treat customers this way. That's not ok and inexcusable.
