This was not the return location that was on the contract provided by the Springfield uhaul. I returned the truck to the location on my contract and was charged for an extra day. I've been trying to resolve this issue and was told the manager would call me a few days ago. No call back.

Interior of the trailer was not clean, dirt on all interior walls had to be swept off/out prior to use. Otherwise, fine, staff helpful and very friendly. Disliked UHaul website allowed 98% of reservation to go through without alerting equipment not available at desired location (Colchester).

Two issues: The online check-in did not work. I tried to use it because I have knee issues and I didn't want to have to stand in line. But I had to anyway. It would be nice if reservations for rentals and equipment were actually ready to go instead of being pulled out after I arrived. I made a reservation and prepaid, the equipment should have been pulled out and ready to go.

I scheduled this service on Monday 12/20 for a Thursday 12/30 install. The website allowed me to do that. I received a voicemail Tuesday 12/28 (8 days after booking and 2 days before the service date) notifying me that the installer's work schedule gives him Thursdays off. I called back, and the manager then called me back. She was aggressive, rude and defensive. I was not happy that I only had 2 days to rearrange my schedule and my family member's schedule to drop off the vehicle now. I was shocked that all I was met with was attitude and a “tough luck” attitude. I was only presented with the problem, not with any solutions. I never asked the installer to come in on their day off but repeatedly was accused of that. Neither the manager nor the installer could tell me why I wasn't notified soon after booking the service online and both felt that 2 days was adequate notice. Sorry, but with COVID, work and holidays, 2 days is not enough time. Very terrible customer service. I cannot emphasize enough that I was only addressed with hostility and with problems, not with solutions or alternatives. I had to ask what my options were and none of my other questions could be answered. I also was presented with all of my other “wrongdoings” such as apparently it could take up to 8 weeks for parts to come in (how on earth would I know that?) and that my rescheduled appointment date and time was confirmed but I didn't get notification emails or text messages (how is that my fault?) Very unprofessional. Customer service training is desperately needed. I also don't think it's unreasonable that if the website allows me to book an install appointment, that if there are nuances such as schedule conflicts or more time needed for parts to come in, that customers are called soon after their “bad” appointment was made online, with more than just 48 hours to figure out another plan. Otherwise, high quality products and installation. It's a shame there is terrible disdain for customers and unprofessional attitudes.

The staff here is FANTASTIC!!! Very helpful, knowledgeable, positive and good natured!! The only "knock" on the facility is when we went to move my mothers belongings out of storage, there were rodent droppings all over them. I hadn't expected to find that, but understand the challenges a facility like this faces.

Unable to hear the customer service person through a mask and a plastic wall and people talking loudly in the store so I had to yell over everyone . Can't fit the kiosk tablet through the plastic window slot at the cash register. No music in the store the employees seem like they are suffering just doing there job. It's depressing.

Make sure everything is inside the truck that customers purchased. For example, if a customer ordered and paid for a dolly, one should be there. Other than that, a great, easy, and wonderful experience.

The people were rude when I asked questions… and I know it was my fault for not checking mileage but they said I used 20 miles when in actually I used 12 then on top of that the next day they charge 9. Overall the truck was great the check engine light was on on the key tag it mentioned that the light was on and it was a o2 sensor being in the automotive business just feel the truck shouldn't have gone out with the check engine light on otherwise the truck was clean and ok

The paperwork for the rental listed the gas tank at 3/8 but the actual tank had only 1/4. The associate also referred to the tank as being 1/4 full so I missed the discrepancy. They then tried to charge me $15 for their own discrepancy. Not the first time this scam has been run by uhaul.

Vehicle photos offered before renting the truck were not detailed resulting in disagreements when the truck was returned to Uhaul regarding condition. Truck was in reasonable condition but had many dings/dents that would have taken many minutes for us to document via photographs on the app, general photos of the vehicle were provided. We returned the vehicle in the same condition it was received and were accused of damaging the vehicle. Ultimately we were not charged for damage but I believe Uhaul should be aware of the condition of their vehicles before renting them and the picture should be updated to represent it's current state rather than it's manufacturing state. This experience lead to a less than satisfactory experience for us.

Waited for at least 10 min or so. One person working in the front, finally another person comes to help but he's not familiar with the process so had to end up waiting for the other lady anyways to help. So instead of something that should of been 5 or less minutes since I already had a reservation took almost 20 minutes. But staff are nice and helpful.
