The tank was on 1/4 and it was not enough gas to wait until the end of the rental and fill back up- trucks should never be that low- who wants to fill up twice or go before you are done with the truck and be forced to over fill and guess how much you'll use to be above the amount allowed.

You can start with the original truck I ordered! After gettin my second tuck I noticed the gas tank was a 1/4. Unacceptable. The people at the location were unapologetic and unprofessional. I returned with more than enough gas and my 4hr rental was cut to 3:45 after THEY held me up! Will never use Uhaul again.

Make sure no check lights are on. The tire pressure light was on and if could of affective the fuel consumption.

I was given false information when i called in to reserve i was given a price supposedly this was locked in when i arrive to pick up my reservation i was informed that it would cost $40.00 more than what was quoted. My recomendation is that the total price be disclosed when reserving a rental unit.

Again, we had scheduled to drop it off at the closest location to where we were at and we were not able to drop it off because they said they did not have room for it. We again had to drive out of our way to drop off the truck. Just wondering why you make a reservation if they can't accommodate it.

It's a little off-putting to walk into the office and not be able to see the desks- there are so many stacks of boxes it is like a maze to get to the back wall- I even mentioned to the young lady working at the counter that UI would hate to not to be able to see the front door- she pointed out that they at least have a monitor- and that she has to constantly keep her eye on that monitor. Really not safe for the employee....and like I said it was weird to walk ini and have to guess where the service counter might be.

Please help/train newer employees to "think outside the box." We needed truck an extra day; employee first said that we couldn't keep it an extra day because someone else needed it. I told her "so you're (meaning U-Haul) going to throw away one customer to get another? Can't you locate a truck from another nearby location and have it brought to your location for them?" The employee put me on hold while they talked with another department on a different line, then came back and told me that it was fine, and that we could keep the truck an additional day. Thank you, U-Haul!!!!!

The final return location was very good and the people there were fantastic, my issue is with my originally scheduled drop off and with uhaul overall. When I went to drop off the uhaul trailer at the scheduled location on 9/11, they did not have me in their system, in fact the fire marshall had been to their location on 9/9 and shut them down on taking in anymore returns on. The person at this location sent me to a location that according to the uhaul person I got a call from while sitting at this new location had been shut down for over a month. Basically this return location didn't really exist anymore. The uhaul person on the phone found me a location that actually existed and would take my trailer return. This phone call is what resulted in my receiving a text msg informing me of the change in location. Finding out about the change in location for returning the trailer after I had already been to my scheduled return location and a second (non-existing) location was insane. This shouldn't happen to anyone and uhaul needs to get their act together and keep their customers informed of changes AHEAD OF TIME so that people can plan things and not be needlessly driving around wasting time and money.

The access code never worked, so I always had to make a trip up to the office to get someone to open the storage. I usually ended up waiting because they were so busy.

Facility is hard to reach on the phone, but that seems to be the same for most facilities. They did however return a call 48 hours later; which is rare for most facilities.

Live German Cockroaches were in my unit & crawling from underneath 2 units 2 doors down almost as soon as we started taking items out. Because of it, I threw much of my items in the on-site dumpster.

They needed more people working the store especially on a holiday of its business. The password/ key card situation was not explained and I haven’t been about to get in my storage for 5 days.

My reservation said I could access the storage unit until 10pm. Found out when i got there that i could only access it till 7pm. Had a truck lined up and two friends willing to help me move. Bummed

The Madison U-Haul Storage with General Manager Mike Ozden and his Assistant General Manager Brandon Jones and their crew was so AMAZING, HELPFUL, WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I loved it.

Needs lighting and storage needs painting on inside of building i mean the storage its nasty and it wasnt clean when i rented.plus a person can die of heat stroke in the o nes upstairs no air was on.

CANNOT get a call back from GM Mike Ozden regarding an auto payment of 7/20/18 for unit 122. Vacated unit on 7/16/18. I have called site multiple times & Uhaul Corp regarding matter. Ridiclous!
