The Storages Themselves Weren't Too Bad, But They Also Are Great. I've Had Staff Not Be Friendly And Even Try To Say I Went In A Cut Off My Own Lock When I Hadn't Even Been In For Months. Not Sure Why Exactly, Just Kind Of Felt Like They Were Trying To Find Damage/Excuses For More Money.

We have checked out and have contract in hand waiting for the vehicle to be brought to front while employees have disappeared and we stand there waiting for almost an hour. That's an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait for a vehicle that is sitting right out front.

Karen B.Always understaffed… long line to stand in to pick up equipment, asked if the dolly I rented was already in the truck, nobody there knew. I had to go out and look myself to find out. It was not in the back of the truck. Went back inside and told them I needed help with the dolly. They said I would have to go outside and check other trucks to find a dolly and put it in the truck I was renting. Complete lack of customer service or know how. I checked in online and went inside to get the keys off the pegboard, and the two employees just looked at me like “what was I doing“. Told him I was there picking up my truck that I had reserved and they told me I would have to wait for them to approve it after they Help the other customers that were standing in line. I own my own business and know how important great customer service is. This location definitely does not have it.

Carl M.We reserved a truck online for a 1:00 pickup. We got an email stating our stays had been changed to anytime pickup. We called the office and they said no- won't be ready until 2:30. We arrived at 2:30. Truck wasn't ready. Went inside. There were 13 people in line waiting on the ONE person working the desk. Stood in line for an HOUR. just to get keys to the damn truck. The guy at the desk did not care one bit that there were so many of us waiting on him to get people taken care of. It was incredibly frustrating. Whomever manages this store needs some correction. Horrible service.

Door was closed but service provider was not able to fix correctly. Had to call roadside a second time once in FW. Door wouldn't open. Bad experience overall. Will not use again or recommend to anyone.

I normally rent trailers 2or3 per month when I finally got to the counter the employee wanted all my info again and insisted on calling my references. Needing the trailer I agreed, took my pictures got outside to hook up the trailer they gave me one that had just been returned it was dirty and the master cylinder for the brakes was leaking and oil covered the front of the trailer I didn't say anything about it and 50 minutes later I left. Looking for a trailer to purchase

I've had multiple incidents with 58th St. East 50th location 34th as always been able to come through and get me what I need.

So we had to drive over an hour to bring it back and pay WAY extra for miles etc! Took and hour to even pick up the truck when we arrived! Then we told them 2 days they wanted it back by 1pm next day! Called and told them no said bring it by 4 or else it's like theft of a truck. My husband had to call cooperate to complain. Our experience was HORRIBLE no one knew what they were doing and $400 was HIGH for 1.5 days to rent. Will never go back! Will never recommend.
christa N.Greetings: The employee who rented to me asked when I would return a trailer. As I didn't think I needed one whole day for the rental, I said 6pm (7pm close). I got a late start on the move. I called around 4pm to say I would like to change the time to 6:45 or even closer to 7 and a rude woman answered the phone (I assume it was a main number and not the physical location, but I didn't know. She said uhaul was going to charge me for another day anyway and asked if I wanted to keeep the trailer overnight rather than attempting to make it by 7. I asked if I had told the original employee I would return at 6:45 I would not have had my payment doubled and she said yes, but that uhaul can assist other families waiting in line to rent. I asked if mine had been a case where I had said I'd have the trailer back in one hour and it took two, I would have still been charged double after one hour and she said I would. First, your lot was FULL of trailers, pickups, and moving trucks and there were plenty of trailers just like mine. I doubt you would've sold out in the last hour. Second, the phone employees said “The person who rented to you should've told you.†Well, YES! The person should've told me! I'm not stupid I woild've asked for the full time and brought it back early! The person at the desk did NOT tell me. So, what could've been easily avoided has turned into a situation where I, a loyal customer for 20 years, will never use uhaul again if this is not made right. By the way, I got online yesterday and chatted with uhaul asking to be directed to a formal complaint form. The employee asked why and I told him. He said he had checked on the account and I was not “overcharged†and asked me to look again. I told him I was looking at my account online right then and I saw two pending charges. Today, they're still pending. If your customers can rent moving trailers or trucks for the prices advertised for a day they should be able to do so without penalty. If your policy is to double the fees even for a minimally late return and not even consider removing the additional insurance a customer pays, you should DEFINITELY train your employees on the importance of telling them before the agreement is signed. Tommy P.Inform employees of all policies. I was told by an employee (Shane) that we needed a major credit card to reserve a pickup truck. He was then corrected by, who I was told later was the General Manager, that the policy had changed two days prior, and we could reserve a pickup truck without a major credit card. The next day we went to get our reservation. We were told by a different employee that we could not pick up our reservation because we needed a major credit card. We were then told, by the assistant manager that we can reserve a pickup truck without a major credit card, but in order to actually rent it, we would need a major credit card. Why would U-Haul allow this? I think you should either change the policy, or inform your employees better. Also they were all very reluctant about contacting the GM for clarification. They were so adamant about following policy, that they didn't follow policy by not asking for a contact reference or a secondary contact reference, which some other customer was complaining about.

El metal de la llave es muy blando, incluso el cilindro donde se intoduce la llave no giraba suave cada que abría y cerraba. De hecho tuve que cortar el candado con mi herramienta ya que se quebró la llave y la mitad de ella quedo dentro del cilindro. Y por consiguiente lo reemplace por otro nuevo de diferente marca. Los exhorto a adquirir candados y llaves de alta calidad, y solidos. De ahí en fuera todo estuvo bien! Gracias y buenas vibras!

Then the owner was incredibly rude and argued with me over whether I had a reservation even after I produced the receipt! This move was a nightmare and u-haul didn't help. While preparing to leave Kansas our car dolly was unavailable (reserved weeks in advance), so we had to make a return trip to get our car. An 8.5 hour drive both ways to pick a dolly and get our project car home! Because of the disorganization of your business it cost us an additional $1000 dollars to move in unexpected gas, hotel, and storage costs! Very unhappy with u-haul and will seek alternatives in the future. The location in Texas did finally get us storage for the free month we earned for the large long distance rental, but instead of the extra large unit we reserved IN ADVANCE we received 2-8x8 units and were barely able to cram everything in. Maybe corporate should step down and manage these franchises more closely. Moving is stressful enough no extra hassle needs to added.

Like seriously hire someone to answer calls or invest in a decent voicemail. All 4 loading and unloading carts were missing. When I asked someone for help they took me to the back of the facility and made me drag the cart back to the entrance. Turns out uhaul staff were using it to do maintenance and repair. They only gave me one cart. The remaining 3 carts were not put back for the next three days. I was told that I should get a free uhaul lock. Never received that.
