The staff was great and the truck I had was very clean. The only complaint I have is the truck I had was older and had NO AIR CONDITIONING!!. It also had a wandering issue at highway speed. It also had a whee hop issue. Possibly needs tires balanced and or front end alignment.DANIEL J.

I made a reservation for a 9' cargo van and upon arriving there were none available. The lady gave me a 10' van which already goes against company policy for having what you're supposed to have made a reservation for. Not to mention(which the worker did also not mention) was that the 10' ft van which I did not schedule for, was 20 cents extra PER MILE. Upon confronting the worker after the fact for being deceiving, she would not reimburse me or do anything for being misleading and not following the â€œcompany policy.â€ I'm in the process of moving and will not be using uhaul ever again. I had an 11am appointment to pick up a truck and when I arrived no one was present at this location. My husband had to search for the only person there who was too busy assisting someone who did not have a set pick up time. This took an additional 20 minutes which put us behind by 1/2 hr to get to my moving destination. I rented a cargo van at 230pm. I asked where to drop it off after hours if I came back once closed. I was told where to drop it off but I was not informed verbally that there was a charge for dropping off after hours. If I would have known there was an after hours drop off charge I would have brought it back before close. I saw it was on the contract once I looked it over to try to find out why I was charged so much but this should also be told verbally to customers.GINA L.
Make sure the trucks are update on their maintenance. The break light was "dinging" on my trip to Cleveland, stopped and then again on way home. Roadside assistance is useless as they wanted me to wait an hour and a half when there was a U-Haul location 10 minutes from where I was. The last trip I took the Low tire light came on.Ian D.

I returned the rental around 5pm , during business hours. There was a male employee pulling a truck or from under canopy. I pulled forward and the employee saw us. I followed the directions to wait under the canopy. I waited there for 10 minutes. The employee had looked out the window and saw us. Meanwhile, another customer came. I finally went in and asked what should I do. I'm sure I upset the other customer but the employee clearly saw me following the directions on the sign and waiting at the truck. I feel like the employee could've either directed me to come inside or tell me that he would be right out.Lori B.
Was suppose to be ready at 2:30 and I think we didn't leave out of there til 3:40 can check photo. (Which made me loose 100.00 that I already paid for moving help at 3:00. Then they had no idea about my online reservation. Needed a dolly but they didn't ask which one and they gave me the utility one I needed the one for appliances. So got charged two days for a uhaul because they made me late. Then charged two days for the dolly that couldn't be used. Oh let's not forget I reserved a storage building as well. Which they didn't have ready to go. I was scheduled to do a self pickup of the truck at 8am. When I arrived to pickup the truck the app told me I could not pickup the truck until 9am when the store opened. After calling the 1-800 number I learned this location did not put out a key for me the night before. This error resulted in my entire moving plans being pushed back over 2 hours. I don't know his name, but the gentleman that helps me almost every time I rent is the absolute best employee at this location and 1000 times better than any employee I have dealt with in the 20+ years of using uhaul. And I rent at least once a month. Give him a raise, a bonus, and have him teach the rest if the employees everything he does. Most of the employees at this location and all of the employees anyvwhere else I have rented from our pretty clueless. They don't know the equipment can't use the computers and are miserable. He makes my trip to uhaul take about 15 minutes each time. Everyone else makes the trip last 30 to 45 minutes.William R.
I paid for a utility dolly. The representative said there was one in the truck. There was not one in there. I had to go back to the uhaul location to pick up that and furniture pads. He said he would give me 30 miles for free. I was invoiced for all mileage used. I wont use this location again.Ryan R.
The rental truck roof leaked, and I had buckets of water in my belongings. Very disappointed. I also ran into severe weather, iI had called the office, and they said I would have a free day due to the amount of snow that was in the area. She even mentioned that they couldn't get trucks out due to the snow. When I did return my rental truck, I was charged for the additional days. Very disappointed again. Overall, I will not recommend to friends or family due to the bad service at this location and the defective rental truck - leaking roof!William F.

This U-haul Depot in Lower Burrell is a God send !! Have rented several pieces of equipment this past summer and alone .. Manager Dana and son Tyler do a fantastic job in getting you set up to get going . I use the online reservation process which is really easy .. All you do is make set up an Account pick your truck or trailer and when you show up , it's ready to go! They have alot of trucks to pick from.. They also have a large inside storage area, too. Their location is easy to find just past the from Hillcrest Shopping Center ... If you ever need a truck , trailer or storage , this is the place to go!! God Bless, Keith..Allen H.

The man who worked after Jodi left was a complete nightmare to work with. I turned the trailer in at 4:45. The guy said we're all good. He never said I had to do anything with the bill so I figured they would charge my card on file and we were done. We were unpacking our truck in the garage bay area and suddenly he tells me at 7:40 that we had to have the truck out of the bay by 7:50. There was no way possible to get it done in 10 minutes. My daughter had a severe leg injury and my back has been broken twice so I don't move fast. He promised us a lock earlier and when I asked him about it he said he would bring it once we cleared out the bay. We got it out and then he told my daughter that he wasn't going to give her a lock because we had an unpaid balance on the trailer. Then he said you get a month free storage with a lock. He also lied by telling my daughter that her swipe card key wouldn't work and she had to have the door propped open with a wooden board. That left us in danger of someone walking in off the street and doing God knows what to us. We tried the key with one of us outside and one of us inside and it worked perfectly. So he lied about that and put us in danger by telling us to not secure the building. Additionally I told him that he should have told us way ahead of time that we only had till 8pm in the garage bay and he should have told us that we had to be out. He said repeatedly that it was not his responsibility and that she told me that it was closed at 8pm. We tried to get him to call her to straighten it out and he said she was in bed sleeping. When I came outside to see him he was on the phone with her no doubt complaining about us. I was trying to explain everything to her and she was very exasperated and when I tried to tell her what he was doing she said she didn't want to argue and was very dismissive. He denied saying that he told me it wasn't his job to explain about the hours and he lied about that denying he said it. He also told my daughter that I said I would come down and straighten out the balance for the trailer. I never said that because he said we're all good when I turned the trailer in and I figured anything on the balance would be put on my card. So he lied about that too. Lie 1. He promised to give us a lock and bring it to our unit. Lie 2. He said he would give us the lock once we were out of the garage bay. And that was very poor customer service because he acted like he was going to withhold the lock until we got our stuff out. It was very manipulative and deceitful because once we got our stuff out he still refused to give it to us. It was a lie to get us to get our stuff moved quickly and he never intended to give us a lock. 3. He lied about telling us that we had to remove everything. He only said the truck had to be out, not our stuff. 4. He lied about the door needing wood to prop it open and telling my daughter that the key card wouldn't work. 5. He lied about calling his manager saying he would not do it, she was asleep, then turned around and called her to complain about us. 6. He lied about what he said to me over and over again, that it wasn't his job or responsibility to let us know what time the garage bay closed. I told his manager what he said and he said, "I didn't say that. " yes, he did. So 6 outright lies in the course of just over a half an hour. This is someone who is 100% untrustworthy to do anything in this store. Also, Dana the manager wanted us to leave our belongings in a storage space without a lock to protect it. We left at just after 9:15 pm or so. Thhat meant our storage space would be unlocked for 45 minutes while someone had access. The access opens at 5am and the manager doesn't get in till 7am. So for an additional 2 hours our stuff would be completely unsecured. Lastly, Dana's requirement that the lock had to be "silver" was nowhere in any uhaul rules. It was insane to make that a requirement. I called uhaul management and told them what she said and they said there is no such requirement. This is by far the worst uhaul experience I've ever had. And I've had some bad ones but to be lied to repeatedly, to have a manager suggest we leave our belongings unsecured for over 2 hours, and to be told she doesn't want to argue when we're trying to bring up problems caused by her employee was very unprofessional. It has been a horrible experience and Dana's apology for not telling me about the bay closing at 8pm is not enough to undo the horrible treatment we got.ELIZABETH F. | First Impressions

Your main phone center has absolutely no idea, I mean no clue on the operations of the satellite locations. The phone center makes appointments that the office cannot keep. The office and the phone center do not share the same schedule. My 7:00 AM appointment that was made by the phone center did not exist on the stores schedule. Uhaul has a real problem that's clearly under the radar. This is a huge flaw and needs investigated. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing.charles a. | First Impressions

The only concern was we needed to access the large area for loading and was originally told it would be available til 7. We arrived at 5:50pm and gentleman came and told us he was locking the door in 5 mins and had to use small door which wouldnt work for us because we had large furniture to load.
