They did not come and inspect the truck when we returned it. Once we left we received receipt via email and we're charged for gas. I called and asked why she claimed we did not put gas in truck. I stayed she should have inspected before we left. I will be contacting manager of store

Our comments are regarding the other end-drop off location. We returned the equipment in two days before they checked it in. Never got our confirmation that we returned it until 12 days later. Even after we drove back the day after we returned it and never received confirmation that we turned it in. They did not check truck and tow into inventory right away. This type of thing is probably why we were unable to pick it up at the reserved location when we were in Pa. starting out.

Check engine light was on. The switch for the lights was pushed into the dash that you could not use it. The a person came out and reach under the dash and pushed it back out. Another than that truck tan fine and I would still rent from them again.

The only One thing that bothers me some with the sign in to rent at all the locations is ; the staff takes pictures of my Drivers License with their PERSONAL PHONE. Not a good idea when workers quit and still have that information

The pickup using my phone option was terrible. It was well advertised when I reserved and it seemed like it would be easy to do, but I eventually gave up before submitting my fingerprints and DNA sample, went inside the location, and they gave me the keys. I don't understand why there were so many hoops to jump through using the pick up on my phone option AND why that was left until I went I said I was ready to pick up the truck to start showing the hoops. It is not easier, just go inside.

Customer service upon arrival was horrible , we had a guy named Ryan and my online price was 30$ more in store when I got there. The guy had an attitude with myself and the customer before me as if he didn't want to be there working, I will not be recommending this location to anyone.

My fog lights came in working. After they installed a hitch they don't work anymore.. so I don't want others to go threw this. Now I have to take it to Jeep to get an estimate and find out what happened. Only problem with that is my work schedule. So it make take days or months for me to get to the local Jeep dealership

When I arrived, The attendant (female) told me I was in the wrong place because they didn't have anyone there to put on a hitch. Then she admitted that she didn't check the schedule and after checking the schedule saw she had 3 hitch appointments. I was witnessing the confusion on her part the whole time. When I finally left the keys with the confused attendant she said that they would call when my 1 PM appointment was finished. I waited. After 4 hours, I called the store number and ended up getting a customer service agent who said she would send the store a message to call me. Another hour went by and I called again. I got another customer service agent who also left a message for the store to call me with an update. I knew that the store was closing soon at 7 PM so I had my partner drive me to the store 30 minutes before the closing time to see what was going on. My car had been finished for a few hours and NO ONE CALLED ME…. That same woman was there and flusterdly confused on check out. By that time I knew her shtick and just wanted out of there. Had to ask her for my key though because she forgot I needed that to take my car home. Terrible experience.

I was in need of a trailer wiring harness, and the rep. at lower burrell called uhaul on clairton blvd. They had 6 of them available. I drove the hour and half to find out they did have 6, but they were ALL reserved. Then Clairton called the one on Washington Blvd, they had 1. Since I am unfamiliar with Pitts. I asked if they would sell me one of theirs and get the one from Washington Blvd. They were VERY unwilling to help me. So I was left to fend for myself. I would not recommend Uhaul on 5 Clairton Blvd to anyone, their Custer service leaves ALOT to be desired.

I booked a truck on the website and received an email with my reservation information. On my way to pick up the truck a uhaul employee called to inform me that he had a truck at a different location and that I didn't have a reservation (despite having a reservation number). He explained it was simply a request for reservation. Had a truck been unavailable this would've been incredibly inconvenient. It ended up only being mildly inconvenient and annoying. The Seinfeld quote of “you know how to take a reservation but don't know how to keep a reservation” comes to mind. To improve- update your customer end on the website. If a truck is unavailable at a location don't send customers a “reservation” number. In fact, don't let the truck even be booked. If you are keeping your current system then you have to update the language in your emails. You can't call it a “reservation number”.

We were quoted of $59.95 for a brake controller (which it was) and $30.00 for installation of this controller. When my husband went to pay the bill, the total was $165.79. We had nothing to show the quote we were given so just paid the bill. Going forward we will purchase from another source and install the products ourselves. My husband could have done it easily. The only reason we went with installation was because of the quoted price. We won't return.

The equipment functioned properly and was mechanically sound. Who ever rented the trailer prior to me spilled a granular substance in the trailer that was melted to the floor. I had to use a putty knife to remove the substance then wipe down the entire floor so it was not sticky.

Considering this was an old deot store from over 40 yrs ago, I was surprised that the FLOORS were NOT replaced. Original Montgomery Wards flooring from the 1970s is what is there. The cracked and stained floors should've been replaced especially after 40+ years. Plus it is also a business deduction! P.S Great manager! She was very helpful and nice!!
