My problem with this U-Haul location was when I paid my storage bill they still locked me out of my unit. I realized that I was late with my rent but the lock should have been removed immediately when the bill was paid, instead the lock continued on the unit 3 days after my payment. This happened TWICE!! They sent a late payment notice also after my unit was paid. It appears to me that there is lack of communication with staff members

Frances GWe had a reservation to pick up our U-Haul at 6 AM on Friday morning for 24 hour pick up. Never received the code to be able to pick up. Truck had to make a minimum of 10 phone calls Friday morning to try to secure another truck which finally happened at another location from a lady who was stationed in Canada. It put us two hours behind our moving and we loader schedule for $100 an hour per person for two people for two hours. We now had to pay them extra money to help us move because we were an hour behind schedule for when they were scheduled between seven and nine. we now were not able to start until after 8 o'clock so we had to pay the extra money because they were there waiting on us. I was told that somebody from customer support would reach out to me so I can file a complaint because I do not believe that I should have to pay full price. I also of course did not get the blankets that we had ordered and had asked when we returned the vehicle at a different location to be able to be a reimburse for those blankets which has yet to occur. I would never recommend U-Haul nor will I ever use the U-Haul again in the future I will use Budget.
LAWRENCE C | First ImpressionsI am not sure why I was charged a $28 cleaning fee. The truck was driven 182 miles in sunlight. No rain or mud or even bugs. The back was left as clean as when loaded. I think because this drop point had no personnel I was automatically charged for something that will not be required. I am guessing that it will be rented on line and picked up without a cleaning.

Charles YGreat customer service! Able to handle reservation confirmation with this location. Uhaul app would not allow log in after creating account multiple attempts. Had to delete app. Will be sending coworkers and friends to this location. Well done Longview location!
James TI have never used U-Haul to move, and was unsure about the process. However, I was very pleased with the communication, the service and speed in getting the container at my move site. ¡Los recomiendo!

ALLEN BThe facility is nice but a lot of times there was furniture that had been left by other residents in the hallway. Additionally, during my time there a resident with roaches had moved in. This is in no way UHauls fault but I just wanted to recommend if you see any bugs anywhere please bomb your unit before removing items to ensure you aren't taking home any new friends :)

It then took 23 days for Uhaul to complete their investigation into the break down and bill me, and guess what my time was worth to UHAUL ???? Nothing. No discount or credit for wasting my time with a faulty truck.
Philip BThe check-in was problematic. I did my move in one day (Tuesday); picking the truck up at 7:15 am, loading, driving to Longview, unloading, and returning the truck around 5:15 pm in Longview. The person I met at the receiving bay said he would check the truck in, but I received a text Friday indicating the truck had not been returned. After several calls, it was determined the person meeting me had not checked the truck in. All was resolved satisfactorily.

Torrey S | First ImpressionsWe would recommend a receipt when items are returned. We returned both dollies and the trailer seven minutes before closing. Today, I received a text and a call at 10:17 am wanting to know when we would be returning the dollies. I told the lady the gentleman took the dollies inside of the store, when we brought them back. He came out and helped unhook the trailer. When he went back in, it was closing time. We did not receive any paper showing we returned anything. It should all be on their cameras, should it need to be verified. Gracias.

CYNTHIA DHad to reschedule because keys were not left in truck for after-hours pickup appointment. appointment was made at 3pm the day prior. there was leftover drink cans in the cabin. However, once the store opened the person who helped me was very nice and got everything straightened out. Return was fast and easy.

EMILY HI have rented trailers from this location many times and recommended it to friends many times. The staff is friendly and efficient! The equipment has been great every time. If I had one suggestion, the transition from the inside office to going outside to get the equipment can be a little confusing. The communication between staff and then their communication with me as a customer outside of the office could be better. Sometimes I have to go find someone to help hook up the trailer and try to explain which type I have rented. It would be nice if this communication happened between staff instead. Overall, I am a satisfied customer and will continue to rent from this location!
JACK BThe facility was fine , but I was billed on the last day of the month which is the day after I moved out. The credit card was hit before I could officially check out on that day. Tried to call multiple times to check out but ended up going in to do it. Still the last day of the month. My understanding was rent was due on the first. Which means false advertising for free one month storage with rental of truck for whatever time or distance which I was well covered ton that . Waiting on a refund. The charge was done thru corporate I assume and not through the local facility.

BRENDAN DI rented a dolly to help me move since I'm an Older single woman and I got all the way home to find out there was no dolly and the place didn't have one. I had to go somewhere else to borrow one which made my love harder

Drove all the way over there in the heat and could not get in. Was there about an hour no one answered the call button for help. Had to find customer service number they told me my lock had been changed.. came Back that week they would not compensate me for anything. And then tried to charge me for u haul storage after I left. Trying to charge my card because they hadn't came up to see that I had got my stuff out before the date to move.. just very unhappy with the way they handle me this go round.. previous to that it was ok..

No one verified the milage before we left nor the gas. I didn't like the experience at all. I'm a military soldier and was never asked if I could get discount and when I did they're acted like they knew absolutely nothing. Need more knowledge personnel

RANDALL K | First ImpressionsIt made absolutely no sense to be this easy to secure a storage unit online, be provided with excellent and precise instructions on finding and entering the unit to temporarily store belongings, and to move out/cancel - also online - when it was no longer needed. I panicked initially when following the online move out instructions, including uploading photos as requested. I kept getting error messages when trying to submit. I made sure pictures were no more than I MB each, but kept changing to even smaller sizes and it would still give me error messages when trying to submit. I called the facility and explained that, and the gentleman (I hate that I did not get his name), said no problem I'll get it canceled… and that was it! From move-in to move out, absolutely amazing!
