When we went to go pick up the truck Customer service from a lady at the desk was so uncomfortable & rude . I didn't appreciate her customer service at all But when we dropped off the Uhaul truck the gentleman was very nice and had great customer service.

BRIGETTE GI really liked the young lady who helped me out. And she really helped me understand the insurance. It was the first time I ever bought insurance. There was a good sense of relief. For $30 I only use the vehicle for about 8 hours it's still provided that sense of relief.

FRANCINE LMy issue is that the battery died and I had to have it jumped. I called when it happened. When I returned it nothing was said to me. I told the female clerk who checked me in that the battery died and asked for a discount. She had me come inside and the guy said that "oh it was the one that has been back in the corner for awhile". No apologies or anything. They said they couldn't do anything and that I have to call the 800 number. With that being said I have to say my check in was pleasant and very easy - the online process too. I hope to receive a discount with the bad van experience. ¡Gracias!

CHRISTOPHER SThe trailer was dirty when I picked it up and the guy didn't even want to get out of the air conditioned store and show me where it was located to verify the sizing. I was told the day prior over the phone that I had until 2pm to return my trailer I rented and when I arrived 130pm I was charged another day. This was a huge oversight on their end.

FERMIN GList the correct dimensions of your truck. The back of the truck was listed as 8 ft. It is closer to 7 ft. The pallets i ordered didnt fit. I wasted $200 plus 5 man hours. Never rent from uhaul again until i am compensated for your error. Check your own website on your 26ft truck.

OMRAN SUhaul's traffic dept. instructed me to pick up the truck in one city and the tow dolly in another. The Lodi store was nice enough to allow me to leave my car there until I hooked it up. But the taillight on the tow dolly was burnt out and had to be replaced after they had already hooked it to the 15' truck which I had to obtain from 35 miles away. Once I reached my destination, about 550 miles away, my nephew noticed the taillight was dangling by the wires, the new pop rivets didn't hold! They were nice enough to step me through hooking up my car onto the tow dolly. But, one of the straps had come loose and was stuck around the brake pad. About the truck , it didn't want to shift properly, but I did my best. Was not wanting to use the a/c to conserve on the gas mileage, but the blower for the vent only worked half the time. I need do make this same trip again soon, to bring last load and second auto to complete my move. Hope uhaul will compensate, at least a little!
Mindy ZI would never use UHaul again. I changed my reservation drop off location and was told if I did this through the scheduling department my rental rate would adjust to the new change. That did not happen.
KENNETH MI was assured that a truck had been reserved for pickup in Dixon, CA - approximately ten minutes from our move. I called multiple times prior to the pickup date to ensure that my reservation was guaranteed. The night before our move I was notified that a truck wasn't available and that I needed to travel to Lodi, CA. This was an incredible hardship, which involved four hours of driving time, delays in meeting movers, and put a lot of pressure on my family. The staff in Lodi were very helpful and the equipment was fine. But how can anyone plan a move and related logistics if you can't count on a truck being available - even after making a reservation and calling several times prior to the move? My family members cringe every time we see a UHaul truck on the freeway. I will do my very best to avoid ever using UHaul again. You behave like a company with an inelastic demand curve for your trucks. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Cal DNothing to improve. The young man in the office was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything we needed to be aware of in renting the pickup. He was very friendly and pleasant to deal with.

DAVID A | Overall ExperienceUnit rent increases $10 per year, seems excessive compared to other facilities. When I was moving out I found significant evidence of rodents. I stored plastic totes and wooden furniture- everything was covered in a thick layer of dirt with rodent footprints all over the place. A blanket that was in a plastic bag was destroyed by rodent nesting. For $150/month to $200 dollars each month final price, I would expect to have my property protected against rodents at the very least. The door seals need replacement. This may prevent the dirt from entering the unit. Seal the units at the floor corners to prevent rodent travel. And no proration? I move out early and you keep the entire month payment? That's awful greedy after I just set my account to auto pay the entire time and gave this place more than $12,000. I guess the joke is on me. No, I would not recommend using this facility for long term storage.

The engine was shaking and jerking. It was very concerning. I thought I was going to have to call roadside assistance. I loaded the truck for a 4bd em house. When I returned that night to load the storage it took almost two hours. It was about 10:30 pm . As we tried to leave the storage area the gates would not open to let us OUT! Because it was after hours. So we were locked inside of the gates of the storage! Very very inconveniencing. I am not a satisfied customer.
