The young man that received us at the drop off location had a cell phone in hand for the duration of the turn in process. We were unsure if that was a device used for work or not, but it seemed that his focus was directed more so to the phone than to us. It felt to us a bit disrespectful, though that was likely not his intent.

There was 1 person ahead of me and I had to wait 10 minutes in line. Then the representative didn't put the equipment and supplies I brought in the van or didn't give them to me when he handed me.the keys. Such an inconvenience.

My question for upper management would be to either revisit the dispatch organization or upgrade to a sophisticated planning software because I shouldn’t find out 12 hours before a 7am appointment that I need to drive an extra 30 minutes both ways to get a uhaul truck to load up a uhaul storage unit at a different location. As a formal distribution director for a fortune 50 company this is embarrassing for uhaul.

Very efficient process, however the uhaul employee was not particularly friendly, responding at times with an attitude and condescendingly when I would questions about the rental return process. Would give five stars if it weren’t for the employee.

unpleasant interaction during return. he grabbed an empty bottle of water from the cup holder and gave it to me.very very rude.the way he did it was unprofessional. He shook his head because there was little bit of dust in the cargo area. I just spent $100 for 1 day. should have been thanked for my business and not being treated like trash.

My only major complaint was the unnecessary need to photograph my driver's license. This is a major personal identification security issue for me. The use of a personal cell phone is also a major concern. I have never had to provide this before. I will not go back as long as I have someone photographing my license and I have no idea where it goes or what security measures are taken.

My complaint not against the locations. The on line reservations is very poor 1 I didn’t receive any notification after reservation. 2 the pic up and drop off locations wasn’t my choice . 3 the charges I had it on line less than what I paid.

Office did not know how to use the mobile pick up process - so I had to change my schedule to get to the office while the employee was working. This inconvenienced me since I was planning on picking up the Uhaul after office hours / late evening due to my schedule. Nice that you have the mobile pick option but it does not work because the employees don't know what to do in order to set it up.

When I arrived to the store, I could tell the one and only guy working there I believe name was Mike (just a guess) has been working his butt off all day and really knew knew the ins and outs of the entire place. Really made the experience helpful with renting and getting out the door with everything I needed to move safely. Thank you for all you all did in this process of moving to Lake Bluff and we will be back because of this experience. Now have to buy more furniture! If there are any discounts or specials please let us know!

Keep up the excellent service. Showroom is very clean and well organized. Service was exceptional. Was offered additional equipment for assistance(not needed). Had a wide variety of trucks and trailers for rent. Have used other locations in the past but the experience I had here will cause to return for future rentals

Guy who checked out the trailer was great. I dropped off the trailer about 100 yards from where I should have. I did not know the place was open on Sunday. He walked over to me in the hot, humid sun and could not have been nicer. He had a great attitude. Great customer orientation.

The employee was hostile, rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I will avoid this location in the future.

The rep who checked in our drop off was rude and unhelpful from the moment I walked in the door. When he finally came outside to help me (I couldn’t get the trailer door closed), he lectured me about why the trailer door would not close instead of just teaching me kindly how to do it. Then, after he asked me to move the trailer (and I asked politely if that was really necessary since it was already unhooked and parked in a row of returned rentals), he rudely and in a huff said “have a nice day” and dragged the trailer away himself. It was a polite question. If it was that big of an issue, he could have just offered to reconnect it! THEN, after I left, he had the nerve to charge my card a $25 “cleaning fee” just because he was pissed off. The trailer was only 1/4 full when I used it and was returned spotless. This is an individual who obviously hates his job, life, or both. If charging me the $25 made him feel better.... wow! He definitely needs help. I hope things get better for him soon.

Staff was helpful & polite. Michael was informative & helped with choices. The van was excellent! Limited miles. Clean and in perfect condition- no worries about a/c on a hot day, or breaking down. Price was very competitive.

Several things could have been better----Had to wait 20 minutes for a scheduled pick up. No place to sit while waiting but on a bunch of footprint covered boxes. Pricing was different than as quoted on the phone at time of reservation. Reservation information was not properly entered into the system and had to be entered at counter before we could leave!!!!

The location was not busy at all, but a couple staff members were not friendly and were not engaged in the job. I asked for extended time and explained that my dog became very sick and I had to go to the emergency vet first and this is why I was a bit tardy dropping off. No one was waiting when I returned the vehicle and there were plenty of other vehicles and trucks available if other customers were waiting. I should mention that Cade was wonderful, and was very understanding.

Your technician mike was very helpful and very professional in assisting my fiancé and I with the equipment rental even though it was the 4th of July I would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone that needs help with getting things to work

The person who I spoke to at the facility in order to pick up the Uhaul may have honestly been the most openly hostile/ rude customer service rep I have ever encountered. I don't normally leave reviews, but I was just taken aback by how mean this guy was acting, when I was simply a normal customer there to get a truck. Everything else went smoothly, I have no complaints about the service itself, but the guy working there should not be working with customers, he was clearly miserable. The other person who I spoke to when I dropped off the Uhaul was fine.

Over the course of my rental, Michael, a service rep at this location was very helpful! I gI’ve him 5 stars! Cade was also helpful. I did not have such a good experience with the Uhaul website or with calling the 1-800 number. The website is clunky and inaccurate. The 1-800 help line was limited by the poor technicals of the web system.

Shipment sat in Libertyville facility for a week before we could pick it up. Our contact person in IL was never notified. Finally received a "Do not reply" email" with no contact phone number.

You need more staff on weekends...very busy location. And, after pulling into the rear area for loading and unloading, I had two tires punctured by nails on the ground. Thanks for the added gift/cost
