The customer service experience is lacking. The employees make you feel like your a burden, they do not communicate closing times accurately and the parking lot is very difficult to navigate when multiple people are returning vehicles . I'm just happy because I was able to get my belongings from IL to FL not damaged. But I decided to store my belongings at Life Storage because their customer service was extremely better than UHaul.Jesus F.

The only way in the climate controled area is on top of a hill the carts roll away from you n then u gotta hold the cart while you have to enter a code on 2 keypads n then rush before the door closes an u gotta repeat it again there's no loop around so if multiple people are loading or unloading I'm trapped inCharles R. | First Impressions

This location has employees well connected to the business and understand their duties. Quick paperwork, instructions, options, gas options. I had a Chevy pickup for a few hours. They fueled me up checked me out quickly so I could enjoy my weekend . U haul is a company that is important to those needing storage, transporting of their precious things mementos . They lied, they delivered my ubox late. They keep saying it was in a different local then it was. I had to cancel my movers three times. They had no idea what they were doing. Then they made a new reservation for I new Ubox I didn't even know about. Complete inconvenience. Rude. Questioned my integrity. It goes on. Steering was so messed up it was hard to keep it in a lane. It took awhile to finally get the keys even though I did mobile checkin. I had to extend for an extra day as my place was not ready and first thing in the morning the store called and I had to return the uhaul. So I payed until 530 and had to drop off the uhaul at 9 am.PAUL C.

The rear tires must have been replaced. TPMS we're not installed so every time you started the van a tire warning was on the screen. I could see the tire pressure for the front tires but not the rear. I replaced a windshield wiper and was reimbursed when I returned. Other than that was a good van. Ford Transit averaged 21mpg over 1400 mile trip.Vincent M.

My experience with uhaul has been the absolute worse experience I have ever had with a business. Wait times are extremely long, and then to make matters worse, I have never gotten fully complete information from a service rep. I get told one thing, then another, and then another. In fact I get told everything is great, and then get a call/ call back to find out that in fact it is not ok. All the representatives are very nice but the lack of consistent information is horrendous. Please, please, please improve this because I will stop using uhaul unless this is resolved.Shelby D.

After 3 times of rental reservations being changed, I was finally able to pick up my truck. The guy who set it up told me I had to come back the next morning to get the trailer hooked up. He was not working but found out it was going to be a charge of $20 to do this and we in fact did not need to come back. The trailer lights were not fully working, on and off but we were sent in the way. Everyone was very nice though and helpful.Linda B.

I have mixed emotions about my rental experience. First off, your website needs to be updated consistently. I went to this location because it showed it had a van for rent and a storage unit I need. Turns out they were 2 vans down and the storage units were unavailable. God bless Tracy, for getting me in a smaller moving truck I could drive. Also, I ended up calling 2 other uhaul storage places that the website had available units. Per the locations, nothing was available. I did find one eventually which is one of your old converted trucks. If I didn't already have movers coming, I definitely would have gone with another storage company like public storage who has 1st floor units and air conditioning.vicki L.

When checking in to rent the truck, the screen/system kept locking up. Waste 20 minutes. People were nice. Truck was ok but steering needs alignment/toe in set. Glad it wasn't a long trip. Transmission shift was erratic. Noisy exhaust hissing like catalytic converter came apart and plugged the muffler. This will kill gas mileage. Ford truck. I was a mechanic at Ford and Ryder truck rental for 35 years. Diagnosis and repair.james W.
Charging mileage for local rentals needs to be waived. A 19.99 rental fee, turned into 81.00 plus the other 25.00 for gas replacement. I only had to move a very large box that didn't fit in my SUV from New Port Richey Florida to Clearwater Florida. With today's cost of living & gas being high, that rental price outrageous!Linda B.

From honoring my free month of storage after my move to making sure I was able to sign into my unit at 12am at night, they were there. The only reason I would not give it a full 5 stars is because your phone system is awful, you can't reach anyone. Instead I had to drive all the way to the store to get questions answered. I set up autopay 4 different times and your system kept kicking me off randomly. I do not have enough time in my day or enough space in this box to explain this horrible experience. In short the faulty equipment that was rented to me caused us to waste 2 hours on the side of the road wasting gas waiting for roadside assistance to show up. All of this could have been avoided if the car transporter would have been maintenanced. The condition of the equipment was brought to the attention of the rental office at Time of pickup but they did not care. Sadly I'm sure this review will fall on deaf ears. I just pray that the next family that rents from U-Haul doesn't have the experience that we did. Not safe.Benny B.

Was moving cross country from Colorado and had reserved the AC first floor room because we were moving large furniture into it. I called multiple times to confirm that it was still available. When we arrived after all day of driving it turns out that the storage we had reserved, for months, was no longer available and that we would have to call around to random storages to find one that is (virtually impossible day of). Called around and there was nothing available. We called back and told them and then they found a storage unit was available on the second floor with AC. They did not tell me that the "second floor" was only accessible by a ladder on wheels. This made moving all of our furniture extremely difficult both in and out. Very convenient and hours to access storage were great. One thing that I didn't like was the fact the rate changed every month. It started in the $60s and towards the end I was paying $80s. My unit did not smell very good. The back part of the trailer leaked and there was a puddle on my photo boxes. Uhaul offered lot more storage for your money, then what I had previously experienced with another storage facility. The non air conditioning units was not dusty with bugs but very clean and air tight. I will definitely use uhaul storage again and refer all I know. They never answer phone or emails and my account was messed up from the beginning. I sent several emails and so did my son . I have never had such problems with a U-Haul in my life.
