Melissa A.We were charged incorrectly initially for hundreds of miles of excess mileage after dropping off the truck. I called to complain (it is not possible to have driven nearly 800 miles to drive from Landenberg PA to College Park MD), and the customer service agent was very professional and created a ticket. The charge was reversed two days later, so in the end we are happy although an extra $700 for the rental initially was quite anxiety producing..... However, note to the wise. Take a picture of the odometer when picking up and dropping off the truck. Also, even though the contracts are electronic, and small font on your phone, double check the odometer when picking up your vehicle....

The online people ended up giving me the wrong type of storage unit and the ladies at the front checked it out for me, realized it, and got some of my rent knocked down since I didn’t get the size I was paying for, they were super helpful and nice as could be. The place was sooo clean and loved how many carts they had for moving help. This experience was great and I will definitely be using U-Haul storage in the future for all my storage needs. Loved it.
Michael B. | Online Move InPulled up to the equipment return area before 2 PM and sat in the truck for 5-10 minutes before the employee cleaning the truck in front of me told me I could just leave the keys in the truck and leave. Nothing was checked by any employee and I left with a bad feeling. Sure enough, I got a text the next morning saying I should contact Uhaul for overdue equipment. After the equipment was “foundâ€, I was then charged $89 for mileage overage. The cap on miles was never verbally communicated to me and it is in such small print on the contract that even the customer service rep over the phone had trouble finding it. There is no way I went 83 miles over in the greater DC area. Who knows what happened with the vehicle in the interim between drop-off and when the vehicle was finally checked in, or whether the disgusting pick-up location had the mileage right. I will not be renting from Uhaul again until this is resolved.
Fahad M.All of the UHaul employees were so helpful!! Just know that if you reserve extra equipment like dollies or a 2-wheel cart, you cannot pick up 24/7. you need to wait until the location opens to get the extra equipment.

But because of this I incurred significantly more charges with the movers because of them having to repack the truck,go to a different location unload again! So I was very unhappy!!
