The equipment was clean but exterior looked worn and had some damage. Brandyn was excellent. I would recommend putting a crack Jack on the 6x12 trailers, very heavy to lift onto a ball on your vehicle, especially when loaded. .DEBORAH G.

I am so glad that people have change somewhat because the twoat the store now are awesome . Best customer service Ive had there and I use uhaul at least 1 or 2 times a month. friendly , professional and helpful beyond the bar set. I haven't seen anyone there like these two they were dressed well and are a great face for UHaul best I've seen since 1992 in Aurora Colorado. Experience at Kokomo was excellent. It was an alternate location after my Metropolis, IL reservation was transferred to SI Towing in Marion, IL where I attempted to call numerous times with no answer, and could not leave a voicemail. When I went to pick up at SI Towing there was nobody there. I called the emergency number and I was told there was no reservation, there was no trailer available (even though I was looking right at it on the lot) and that the girl that managed their UHaul business had left town for the weekend. This resulted in my Kokomo 1-way rental that cost me more than double what my original arrangement would have. I guess you get what you pay for.David P.
There were roaches in the bed the truck. The back breaks went completely out after 2 1/2 hours of driving. Roadside assistance didn't come and give me and 2 children a ride from the location we were stranded at for 5 1/2 hours. The next day it took 2 hours on hold to get an Uber to get a new truck to use that was 30 min away (this cost me more on gas) I spent 3 1/2 hours on hold and on the phone with roadside assistance while we were stranded in a parking lot in Chicago. We didn't get taken to our home until 1 am. (I had to kids with me!) The breaks had power steering fluid and break fluid leaking severely (if I was on the interstate when the breaks popped and went out) I don't want to even think about what would of happened. I had to beg 3 people to give me an extra day with the truck. The movers I paid to help me were not able to help me since I couldn't get to my destination until the next day. No one has offered a courtesy credit. My children had to miss a day of school. The new truck was filthy dirty and not swept out. What process do you have in place to reassure all basic inspections of U-Haul has been checked?! I am very disappointed in this company and my experience.JESSICA S.

There is a sign advising you to wait by your truck when you return it and they will come to you, which is what I did. After about 10 minutes, a lady comes out to me and makes me feel stupid, because I did what the sign said. She told me I was supposed to go inside. If that's what you want people to do, then you need a new sign.Matthew B.

-Truck was dirty -Dolly wasn't on truck -When I went to get the dolly they persistently told me it was â€œprobably the utility dollyâ€ over and over until I finally pulled up my receipt (apparently they can't get it even though I'm renting their truck?) and then I finally got the appliance dolly I rented. -Even though I did the no contact option where I had to have my phone on me to rent the truck, I for whatever reason still had to go inside and get my keys from the employees? Like what's even the point of choosing the phone option if you still have to talk to deal with the poor service from your employees? -oh and finally whenever your app's servers stall it tells the user that they don't have internet connection when really it's your embarrassingly slow algorithms taking forever. That's really cute trying to act like your crappy app isn't working because of us. Nice cheap fix instead of just paying someone to design an efficient app.Brock B.

This location had AMAZING customer service. In fact they made up for 1 star review I would have left Uhaul as a company. I had originally booked a truck out of a location in Indianapolis. The truck reservation had been confirmed the day before and after hours (so I was unable to speak with anyone) I received a message that I would need to drive to Bloomington for a truck. This was HOURS out of my way. The day of the move I did manage to book another truck in Kokomo, but rather than at 9a, as we had reserved, it wouldn't be available until after 4p. We were concerned about the truck actually being available. My boyfriend drove to this location and thanks to the wonderful staff we were able to obtain a truck sooner than expected.Krista B.

The first trucks ac did not work. I had to return it for another one. Both trucks smelled of cigarette smoke. Also, I had reserved a storage unit on 7/18 when I placed my reservation for the truck. The person who waited on me was not able to find my reservation. There was no compensation for the screw up on the reservation for the storage unit except a minimal amount off the truck. Needless to say this will be the last time I ever rent from Uhaul again.Teresa R.
The truck was in horrible shape. While I am thankful that the company could upgrade us to a larger truck. The truck we ended up getting the ABS light was on, the brakes did not feel safe while driving in the rain. The truck had a horrible exhaust leak, and the power steering pump was whining and very difficult to stear with.Brandy L.

We rented a car dolly. Everything went perfect, but it was the first time we have ever hooked one up ourselves. They did it for us at the store of course, but once we got it home we weren't sure how to unhook it to load our furniture up and then hook it back up again. We figured it out thanks to the instructions, but it would have been a great service if the store associate showed us how to do it. Otherwise, we were happy.Amanda M.
