Pickup took a hugely long time. Truck was very noisey and no cruise control

Kevin D.Charging an environmental charge of $1.00 seems incompatible with a company geared towards boasting the environment and sustainability. I would like a better explanation as to why you must charge customers an environmental fee. The way I see it is that it appears to be just one more dollar of profit in a company already making plenty of profit. I haven't looked at 2021 reports, but 2020 saw an increase in revenue of 5% over 2019. If we are to become more environmentally conscious and sustainable as a planet we need to care less about profit and social status and more about equality and science/STEM. And your $1.00 fee is contradictory to the need to be less capitalistically motivated. Please provide an explanation for your fee to b.lewis2344@gmail.com if you could.

Brent K.They need more in store employees. That poor lady was running herself ragged trying to wait on 6 different groups of people. She did a great job but definitely too much for one person to handle with no help.

Ryan V.Was told my rental wasn't there and didn't have another until I informed them that uhaul has a guarantee of rental or $50 then he decided to get up and go look for one. It was filthy not swept out but by this point I needed to get on the road. He was smoking nasty cigars while hooking it up and forgot to tighten it down even after I told him. Used for few hours and brought it back, kinda positive I'll go to another location next time.

Jon B.I reserved a 20' truck, after being redirected to that since the 17' were unavailablefor Kokomo. I confirmed my order was for 20'. I arrived for my pickup this morning and was told there were no 20' available, and I had to either choose 26' or 15'. The manager (didn't catch her name) who was working on my pickup told me that this happens often where the site allows trucks to be reserved that aren't available. She kept talking about how bad a day it was and was going to be. She gave me my keys and said the truck was in the lot facing the street but didnt offer to assist. I went to the only truck marked 15', but went back to the store because I've always had someone do a quick walk-through of the vehicle. I met Debra and she was extremely helpful, and realized I had been given keys to a different truck than what I was told to go to. She corrected the issue and was very pleasant to work with. She's been amazing on previous pickups as well. My biggest issue with the experience is being able to reserve a vehicle on U-Haul's website, then to be told the size I requested wasn't available, and that it is a common occurrence. What would have been a single trip turned into a double trip due to 15' being too small. I've driven 26' and didn't want to maneuver that large of a vehicle in small alleys.
