The person who greeted me was a little robotic at first, saying "how can I help you" without looking at me. Then the interaction was very positive, efficient and clear. I received an electronic message to my smart phone as I got into the rental van, asking me to confirm the mileage and state of the vehicle. This is excellent. On return of the vehicle, the agent just told me to leave the keys if I paid by credit card, and I was able to leave right away, with no check-in. While this is very efficient, I did not receive any confirmation of return of the vehicle then or afterwards, and the mileage and gas state were then based on an honour system for both me and you. Clean the truck. Coffee stains everywhere. Food on dash. The truck was a pig in fuel. Cost me $120 for 250 kms of driving. Considering the truck was empty half the time, that's not good.Paul A.

I tried truck share and it was garbage. Spent an hour calling in without any actual help and was just transferred to different lines. The customer reps were good. However my issue is that I booked a vehicle in Napanee Ontario for 9am. When I arrived I was told after the rep was on phone with head office that I would have to travel 45mins to Kingston Ontario to pick up my vehicle. This caused almost 90min delay and the knock on impacts to my days schedule were very problematic. I received a $50 rebate. I'm dissatisfied with the overall service and the compensation for my time. I will be very leery of using uhaul again as my preference for personal and business use as I cannot trust the guarantee of vehicle I want at location I choose. Paul CarrollPaul C.

The truck was dirty inside the cab and the back of the truck, it was in serious disrepair. Had a check engine light on, and it stalled on me a couple of times. Also when you get to about 50-60kph it starts to what i can only describe as jumps. I dropped the truck off and got no paperwork about anything.MICHAEL P.

when working/sorting things in our storage unit 1813, the hallway light often went off and made it pretty dark in there. wish the sensor lights stayed on a bit longer. I also found it a bit challenging accessing the entrance for unloading/loading. Service complaint sent to regional manager: I'm requesting consideration of the following complaint. As remediation, I'm only asking for what I originally requested. That is to be charged for the 4 hour use of a half-ton truck and car hauling trailer. Considerations: On 15 Sep, I reserved a half-ton truck for pick up from 2459 Princess Street and a car trailer for pick up from 1157 Midland Avenue for a duration of 4 hours. On 19 Sep, I was told that the car trailer would only be available from 425 Camden Road in Napanee. At this time, I was forced to change the truck and trailer to a full day rental in order to travel the extra distance to Napanee and back to Kingston to return the truck. On 22 Sep, I picked up the truck at 2459 Princess and asked about the car trailer sitting on the lot. I was told that it was not serviceable. I then proceeded to Napanee with the truck to pick up the car trailer. When I arrived in Napanee, I was told there never was a car trailer available and then spoke with you to resolve my problem. I returned to Kingston and picked up the car trailer that I was told was "unserviceable". I completed my journey in 2.5 hours and returned the truck and trailer with a full tank of gas. Problems:1. The original reservation was mismanaged and I was forced to take a full day off work. 2. I was sent to Napanee when there was never a car trailer available there. 3. I spent a day with UHaul when 2.5 hours was sufficient. Forget about my lost time at work and the added gas for traveling to Napanee. All I want is for the charges to reflect 4 hours of use for a truck and trailer with local mileage of 50km. This should be around $120 +tax. That is what the original reservation reflected and that is what I did.STEVENA G.

The moving pads should not be a charged item. Additional mileage charge was dumb as I returned the vehicle on the same day. It should be per day rental not a "you have this many km included but we won't tell you that so we can charge you for going over that distance" The trucks should have a bungee area to secure the dolly to.
