Not sure who to blame bur 24 hours ahead of rental after I got a call coming firming it the location and time pick up changed 3 times. And we were told we had to get a 26' truck when we ordered 15'. When I called and questioned why things have changed from what I originally ordered (10' truck to be picked up at a different location), the woman on the phone was rude and told me it didn't matter what I ordered, I would only get what they have on hand. I have not received my return receipt yet via text or email. Contact number from April 28, 2021 #23797467 C. Green and when we returned the truck the rep wanted to charge $75 for the truck not being filled when the pick up photo and your contract both confirm less than half a tank was in at start. Complete joke. Everyone I talked to was completely unfriendly and rude. I had multiple reservations get cancelled for no reason on account of a location specific policy that was not communicated to myself or to the call centres. Very disappointing. We were given the wrong truck. We were sent to the ruck but the keys were missing, so we had to return to get keys. The truck we drove away in was not the truck on our paperwork, so when we returned the truck we did not have accurate mileage. We were told they could tell the mileage from something that was reset. Does not make sense to me. Said we drove 54 miles and charged us for that. Hard to argue when you don't have any of the proper information. I don't think we travelled 54 miles.. it just should be better.LORI R.

I was provided the wrong truck at first and had to return to get the correct one. Then when I asked for 26ft, they said there was none available at their location or surrounding location. When giving a different vehicle i would like the same milage of .59 and not bump it to the .79 or what ever the higher per km is. Why get charged more for vehicle that i could not get. Dont make sense to me. Cost me an extra 20 bucks.KENNETHC D.

Everytime I've been to this location the customer service has been terribly poor. It's one thing to have a bad day and it's another thing to be really horrible at customer service. The person at the reception is very rude and gives a bad face to the Uhaul company which is trying to provide really good service at affordable price. You really do need to change that person or people are going to stop coming in just because that staff member doesn't know how to talk to people.Ashlesha G.

Make sure your "estimated mileage" is very close to actual when picking up the truck. When we returned the truck, having estimated 30 km, they told us they'd written the original km incorrectly and it was showing as us having driven a negative amount. But my credit card was charged for 30 km, even though I only drove 20 km. Not a great experience when they charge by the km.EMILIEMEGHAN W.
Only one complaint - It was a little annoying that there was a dolly and blankets in the back for rent (which I didn't need or ask for, and couldn't remove or I would be charged for renting it) which took up space in the truck that I was expecting to use for moving. Other than that, everyone at the location were very friendly. Check in and out was super quick.Craig B.

The online process is very efficient except for having to wait to get the keys from the counter inside as the rep can be busy with a customer for 15 min before being served. Ideally the keys should be in a lockbox outside that you're given a code to open it.RONALDB M.

But for three months they were charging me extra money and the manager instead of fixing the issue was insulting me that they did not charge me extra money until I called Uhaul customer service and they open a case for me and fixed the issue. When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered.
