I was given a truck with no gas. The attendant did know and apologized and stated I would be given a gas credit. That did not happen. The tire pressure was low and maintenance lights were coming on during my drive with the vehicle.

We reserved a truck on August 8th to be picked up at 5211 Pennell Rd, in Media PA, which is 2.7 miles from where we were loading the truck. On August 17th, I was called and told we had to pick the truck up at 5744 Woodland Ave in Philadelphia, which was 16.1 miles from the location we were loading it up. The location change was 13.4 miles farther away, much of the additional miles being city miles, adding an hour of drive time to an already long weekend of driving. When I asked if there was any way to get the truck closer, I was bluntly told 'NO!', with no explanation. And on top of that, U-Haul had the nerve to ask us to take a trailer with us from Upper Chichester, PA, to MI but was rude when I asked for UHaul to move the truck 13 miles. My family and I were not happy with the change of pick-up location. What's the point in making the reservation two weeks in advance if the truck can't be at the requested location? For $974, we should not have had to drive into Philadelphia on a Friday morning during rush hour.

The logistical experience of this storage facility was very good. Workers were helpful and efficient. It was easy to access the locker and climate maintenance was good etc. However, when I came to move my furniture out after a year of storage, everything was absolutely covered in mouse poop and maybe mouse urine. I had to sterilize everything that I could, but the upholstered furniture I could only vacuum. The light colored furniture was left with brown splotches. There was what looked like animal hair all over one of the chairs. The mice had chewed through plastic storage bags for pillows, making me wonder if even wrapping everything in plastic would have prevented the damage. I did not keep any food or perishable items in the locker, but someone nearby must have. This facility should give warnings that all up upholstered furniture should be protected by plastic prior to storage. Emptying the locker was truly a disgusting experience. It's a shame because everything else about the storage facility was very good, but at the end of the day it did not keep my furniture in very good condition.

The wait to get the truck took a very long time and I had reserved a truck prior to coming in and was a half an hour early. I was not made aware that the mileage rates had gone up and was slapped with a bill that was extremely high. There are other companies that offer moving services and I will be checking in to those for my final move.

The vehicles are not being checked over or cleaned after a drop off or before pick ups. The trucks steering wheel was so sticky. It looked like someone shook a soda and opened it inside the truck and no one cleaned it. The truck outside was just as dirty. The actual employees that I dealt with were actually really nice and courteous and professional, because of that I would recommend this location. Probably in for a dirty vehicle but great service at least with me.

Most uhauls are terrible with bad service. Even when the facility is nice and clean the service is awful. THIS uhaul, is always VERY clean and the staff always helpful. Everytime I call or go to the location the people there are pleasant, helpful and go the extra mile. There is always enough staff. I love their rapport together (at least what I can tell from their chit chat). Their talking to each other has never taken away from how attentive they are. While some may be a bit put off by the neighborhood, it isn't fancy, I would happily recommend this location everytime. You hired good people here. Storage areas are notorious for bad service. But this location is not one of them. I rented my unit from June 2020 to august 2022. No complaints.

The people that work there especially the owner/operator could have an idea of how to explain the charges for you besides just plugging them in and showing you the smart phone saying this is what the computer search for this is what the app said. Communication is very poor the equipment and the use was great but the return was dramatically uncalled for! I literally got an argument with the GM one oh she had to do was just give me a simple explanation because as a person who does not use U-Haul every day or every month or every year for this case sometimes we just need a little explanation I'm human don't shove a phone in my face and then get an attitude and I don't understand, I thought upside to being able to deal with life people is that they could give you help instead of just dealing with a computer or an app if that was the case I could've did it from the comfort of my own home instead of walking into a store

There was a nail inside of the tire upon entering the vehicle that also had no ac in 100 degree weather. There was no one to inform until we get in the car and let the agent know. There were no other vehicles so it was either chance it with the insurance or not be able to move equipment. If there is no air it shouldn't even be allowed to rent especially in 100 degree weather. Horrible experience. I'm definitely informing corporate

I tried to call 4-5 times once I got to my destination for the truck only to realize the side door would not open to let them k is. I was Putin hold each time and no one got back to me each time longer than 10 mins. The van was dirty and not on the quarter tank it said either. I'm very disappointed.

Wow, this place is terribly run. Roadside assistance called them the day before to see if they could repair a dangerously loose mirror on a truck I had picked up in South Philly- I was picking up a trailer so it made sense to just have them fix it the next day if they could. UHAUL Roadside assistance called, made me an appointment for 9AM and when I got there I sat in line for an hour just for them to tell me the guy who fixes things wasn't in that day so I was out of luck. What an absolute waste of my time. Don't get your uhaul from here.

Store clean and employees polite, Small trailer did not come with a standard electric plug- I had to buy one. I think when you rent something it should be " Ready to go". I have a GMC Yukon with a factory connecter- millions of them on the road.Yard man was new , yet very polite and courteous.

The manager that was on duty on Friday the 11th of March, day shift was very, rude , disrespectful and arrogant to customers including me. The unit #(2120 )that was given to me was not checked before it was given, it has uhaul building materials in it and my unit has no light, it's very dark. I took my lock and keys after 11am and saw uhaul stuff in the unit and reported to your manager on duty, she did not ask her stuff to remove the stuff before my moved in, after 3:30pm when I came back to the unit with my belongings, my unit still was not empty so I went to the desk to ask why my unit was still not empty, and your manager looked at me from head to toes and arrogantly responded that she will get someone to remove the stuff from my unit. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful in her words and body language, til her coworkers had to calm her down and ask her to help them remove the things from my unit. Moving forward, Uhaul should have their staff checked a unit before assigning it to customers before another person encounter what I when through with this manager. If your cameras in the front, hallway and at my unit area are audible u can look it up and confirm my case. Thanks for your understanding. Thanks to a new staff called BJ that was helpful to me at the end of my move.

Management are thieves, liars, and steal from customers unit. My bedroom furniture was stolen out of my unit 1453. I have reported this to the 12th district police and Laniya Matthew's and Simon Baptiste are horrible people. Don't trust them. I am waiting for a return call from Taj Myers, the president and that may be a lie as well.

I have multiple units in the facility and after years of business. The service here has gone to crap. The doors are locked at night even though I pay for 24 hour access. The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. When my company pays for access to unload and load inside the garage.

I will NEVER rent from this location ever again. The staff was unknowledgeable and disrespectful. My reservation was not honored. My unit got flooded out and no one notified me so my stuff got destroyed and they still made me pay for the unit although they said they would prorate me for the month of November. The entire experience was nothing short of awful and I would throw my things in the garbage before I went from this facility again. This location either needs proper training or just fire the whole staff and find completely new people.

This is the worst storage experience ever the place is overrun with mice you get overcharged anytime they feel like they want to put something on your card they do. it was the worst experience there were cockroaches 3 inches long running around my unit …all of the bags and boxes in my unit have holes in them. They were brand new when I bought them in there to store them. The customer bathroom was full of flies . I don't understand how they charge so much and won't call you back

For the most part things were good. There are some employees that seem to be grumpy and miserable. I am not sure why they are then in a service position. With that said. It is certainly not everyone that works there. Another issue was the card pass. It seemed to not work at times which would interfere with the hours that I could go to the unit

Male staff member was helpful, female staff member appeared to be bothered, she came in with wrinkled and stained uniform shirt , both staff members talked about another staff member and her faults., this was for picking up a truck. I got a storage unit, that experience was smooth.

Move-in had some issues due to the employee helping me put me in the wrong unit this causing me to receive emails saying I didn't pay, my locker was going to taken away, and other alarming/confusing/stressful stuff. After a few days, the manager straightened it out but then my autopay on the account got deleted when they updated my account with the new locker space. This caused me to have to pay a penalty for late rent. After I fixed that, all was fine. Very disappointed about the issues at move-in due to employee error that then negatively impacted me both mentally and financially.

The young man that helped me was very knowledgable and explained how the storage facility works. He took me to my unit and showed me how to get into the facility with my card. He showed my husband where to take the van and where the supply of carts were. Extremely helpful.

My unit was not clean, it had mouse droppings and debris inside. I don't like that anyone can just walk-in off the street. There are cameras but also places that people can be hidden.

The staff was very helpful, they always are but whenever you have an issue with Uhaul and something goes wrong with your reservation. Uhaul doesn't take responsibility for it, my last trip to Philadelphia I moved out of Kyu storage to get a free storage room which I didn't get because you're at 95% capacity which was not told to me before moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to save money. Actually cost me more than I saved. Not quite sure what to do I am still working out the numbers but I would like a reimbursement I will get my one month free as promised on the storage unit it's tough times and it just makes it harder on me and my Family.

Easy process. Building and storage room was clean. Dollies and carts available to assist with moving items from vehicle to storage. Only issue was the online map with location of storage wouldn't open. Staff inside were very helpful with location.

The management there is unprofessional and argumentative. When I informed them that the lock was changed. I was accused of losing my key and had to go through the removal process. It took my from 3/31 to 5/2 to finally get my belongings. I also had the police come to make a report and verify that I was being professional.

My initial interaction with the staff was poor the employees had very bad attitudes and I was hung up on several times. My last interaction was better with the assistant manager and manager of the facility. They where more professional and attentive.

Location still looks brand new. It was very clean. Staff was helpful. I was able to rent a vehicle. I actually rented storage and feel confident about both rentals. Great job by this location.

Only mishap was making reservations. The gentleman made 2 and also I was guided to thinking I would receive one free month storage unit with my uhaul rental. Was explained clearly that is was only for an one way transportation from one state to a another. It was a bet of an inconvenience. Other then that things were great.
