Please make sure the truck are cleaned out It was filled with tires So I had to drive back to the location to only get there and I had to downgrade the size truck I originally ordered plus I lost daytime on moving and then I had to bring it back without finishing moving. Well the manager at this location is amazing! The uhaul we rented this time was low on oil, and the tire pressure was off the entire time. I honestly believe the oil level affected my gas milage and miles. Our total was never that high. Another thing is that I've rental a ton of uhauls and you guys never once mentioned or offered us a company account. Me and my company doesnt appreciate that. Customer service was awful. I was given a 24/7 option to pick up my rental, only to arrive and find out the lock box was broken so the 24/7 isn't an option. I had to wait 45 minutes until the store opened to get my truck. There was an employee on the premises that I didn't know was an employee. I was walking around lost and confused trying to figure out why the link wasn't working on my phone to get my rental. The employee walked right by me with a little child in tow. I thought she was a customer as well until I seen her assisting a customer. I asked her if she worked there and she gave me the biggest attitude ever I almost felt like I was wrong for asking, and if I could have went somewhere else I would have. Once the store opened the employee was still rude. She told me I couldn't be late returning my truck because I would be charged a $300 fee even though my rental was late, and there wasn't anything I could do about it. She gave me the keys to my truck and told me where to find it. My truck was located behind 2 other uhaul trucks that needed to be moved. Thank goodness for the text message that came after I was given the keys to my truck otherwise I would not have known to complete a walk around and where to report the damages as the employee did not inform me of how to do that. Honestly I would never reserve a truck or any other equipment from this site ever again, and I will definitely let my friends and family of my experience.MARIE B.
After having a horrible time at the 48th and chestnut street location i came to this location and The Assistant Manager at this location was amazing , she made my trip so much better and she helped me with my storage. Her customer service was Amazing i haven't had service like that in a long time i didn't get her name i think it was cynthia i'm not sure but she did amazing job. The representative Cynthia was very unprofessional and talked on her phone the whole time she checked the truck out. I she said something while I thought she was talking to me. I asked her to repeat what she said and she waved me off and said to me I'm not talking to you. I have reported this to the 12th district police and Laniya Matthew's and Simon Baptiste are horrible people. Don't trust them. The original location that I booked at 5737 Elmwood Ave wasn't even a U-Haul service center. It was a weird lot with a bunch of old cars & old U-Haul trucks. There wasn't an employee in sight. I have multiple units in the facility and after years of business. The service here has gone to crap. The doors are locked at night even though I pay for 24 hour access. The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. I rented a 17' Truck and my reservation was "guaranteed". When I arrived, there was not a 17' Truck and instead I got a 15' Truck. The smaller truck resulted in me having to make more trips to complete my move, which resulted in a significant amount of added miles charged at $1.89/mile. My bill ended up being double of what I anticipated. In addition, I was charged for two dollys on my final bill, even though I only ordered one dolly and was only given one dolly.DAVID I.

First, I was supposed to pick up a 15 ft truck from Dreams Furniture (1918 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122) and it was a nightmare. You need to terminate whatever contract you have with him. He was about to hand me the keys and then told me it was a local truck and I couldn't take it one way, which was in direct contrast to the reservation I made. I then had to scramble and could only get a 10 ft truck, which was NOT enough for all my belongings, and then had to make two trips. If I ever move again, I will do everything I can to NOT use U-Haul after this experience.FRANK L.

This is the worst storage experience ever the place is overrun with mice you get overcharged anytime they feel like they want to put something on your card they do. it was the worst experience there were cockroaches 3 inches long running around my unit …all of the bags and boxes in my unit have holes in them. This was a horrible experience. Particularly, when I returned the vehicle. First the rep was rushing me the entire time. Did not check the vehicle when I returned it. The wrong gas level was labeled initially. They put more gas on the form, then was actually on the vehicle. The next day, I received a phone call from U-Haul staying that I never returned the vehicle. I had to go to the location to straighten things out. Apparently, the person who checked me in, never put the return of the vehicle in the system. They thought I kept the vehicle over night. Horrible experienceCHE B.

THe u- haul experience was terrible!. We rented from one location, and it was changed to a completely different inconvenient location. When we got to the new location, they told us the reservation was cancelled! After 30 minutes and much frustration, we got a truck with no gas in it. It did not have a working driver's side mirror and the truck was old and rough-handling on the road. We have rented two other trucks in the past two months with no problems...now I am not sure we would ever consider using U-haul again. The staff were rude and lacked appropriate customer service training and the equipment was subpar.JAMES A.

The staff was very helpful, they always are but whenever you have an issue with Uhaul and something goes wrong with your reservation. Uhaul doesn't take responsibility for it, my last trip to Philadelphia I moved out of Kyu storage to get a free storage room which I didn't get because you're at 95% capacity which was not told to me before moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to save money. Actually cost me more than I saved.
