Half the time it was difficult to reach staff at this location, or sometimes someone would answer but they didn't know the answer so they advised to call back the following day. They need more staff to answer the phone and coordinate pickups and moves. Or always have someone there who can answer Ubox questions. There was a delay in getting my U-Box onto a hitch and ready for pick up from the movers. This happened twice. Seems there needs to be better communication between the schedulers and the pickup location to get the Ubox ready in time for the mover.Lori L.

The 10â€ truck that I reserved was the WORST 10â€ truck that I have ever gotten from them. The truck was super hard to start because something is wrong with it. The back didn't latch to close so I rented a truck for nothing. I made the complaint to the worker there and she told me I could only get refunded 20$ and I didn't get my refund. The review that I would leave U Haul corporation is a -10! I entrusted my business with your organization based on the fact of the integrity that you claim to have. I was placed in an unsafe vehicle. After driving on the highway for a very short period of time, I begin to hear noises as I began to press on the gas pedal each time and my vehicle was not driving as smoothly as expected. However, I made it to my destination and decided to return the truck early. After leaving my destination to return the truck, stopping at a gas station only two blocks away from the drop off location, my 10 foot truck would not drive forward, and the truck began to drift backwards. This could have potentially been a life threatening situation! In addition, after turning the vehicle off, it would not start up again. There was a clear disconnect in the clutch. My life could have been in grave danger! I could have lost control of the vehicle while driving due to the faulty inspection of this vehicle. I called roadside assistance, and the trained technician, Mike, informed me that there was no brake fluid and a leak underneath the vehicle. In addition, the clutch would not catch and there was no way for me to move the vehicle. I was stuck at a gas pump for 2 1/2 hours of my evening, which took me away from very important family business that I needed to tend to! I was completely inconvenienced, and I definitely want all of my money back. I am very upset and disturbed with how my evening went !Quinton D.

Where do I begin. When I first moved in I asked for my payments to be paid around the second week in each month. However they ignored my request. Next when we went to our storage they removed a lock in which they replaced with the correct lock because during time of move in they were out of stock. Once replaced they gave us the wrong key back so we couldn't get in our storage. They tried to charge me another month in which I was coming to remove my items out of the storage unit however, I could not being so I did not have the correct key to do so the manager stated that he will have one of his representatives cut off the lot and replace it with a lock they can only open however he never took off the lot for either one of my lockers, the lock that will be use for the link when accounts, neither one of my accounts were in delinquent, they were paid up and the lock was never removed from when they were delinquent which was two months prior, so I was unable to remove out of my storage once I arrived on Saturday, October 8 The lock had not been cut off. They had to have a saw to remove it, and which the representative did not know how to use so my partner who is a contractor and carpenter had to remove it with a representative. This was a big inconvenience for myself, and my partner in our children and helpers. This was one of the worst experiences with U-Haul I've ever experienced besides the terrible customer service that all the representatives in this location share Until I became irate and then they showed that they cared.BENITA S. | Overall Experience

The logistical experience of this storage facility was very good. Workers were helpful and efficient. It was easy to access the locker and climate maintenance was good etc. However, when I came to move my furniture out after a year of storage, everything was absolutely covered in mouse poop and maybe mouse urine. I had to sterilize everything that I could, but the upholstered furniture I could only vacuum. The light colored furniture was left with brown splotches. There was what looked like animal hair all over one of the chairs. The mice had chewed through plastic storage bags for pillows, making me wonder if even wrapping everything in plastic would have prevented the damage. I did not keep any food or perishable items in the locker, but someone nearby must have. This facility should give warnings that all up upholstered furniture should be protected by plastic prior to storage. Emptying the locker was truly a disgusting experience. It's a shame because everything else about the storage facility was very good, but at the end of the day it did not keep my furniture in very good condition.Rosanna D. | Overall Experience

Most uhauls are terrible with bad service. Even when the facility is nice and clean the service is awful. THIS uhaul, is always VERY clean and the staff always helpful. Everytime I call or go to the location the people there are pleasant, helpful and go the extra mile. There is always enough staff. I love their rapport together (at least what I can tell from their chit chat). Their talking to each other has never taken away from how attentive they are. While some may be a bit put off by the neighborhood, it isn't fancy, I would happily recommend this location everytime. You hired good people here. Storage areas are notorious for bad service. The manager that was on duty on Friday the 11th of March, day shift was very, rude , disrespectful and arrogant to customers including me. The unit #(2120 )that was given to me was not checked before it was given, it has uhaul building materials in it and my unit has no light, it's very dark. I took my lock and keys after 11am and saw uhaul stuff in the unit and reported to your manager on duty, she did not ask her stuff to remove the stuff before my moved in, after 3:30pm when I came back to the unit with my belongings, my unit still was not empty so I went to the desk to ask why my unit was still not empty, and your manager looked at me from head to toes and arrogantly responded that she will get someone to remove the stuff from my unit. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful in her words and body language, til her coworkers had to calm her down and ask her to help them remove the things from my unit. Moving forward, Uhaul should have their staff checked a unit before assigning it to customers before another person encounter what I when through with this manager. If your cameras in the front, hallway and at my unit area are audible u can look it up and confirm my case. Thanks for your understanding. The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. This is the worst storage experience ever the place is overrun with mice you get overcharged anytime they feel like they want to put something on your card they do. it was the worst experience there were cockroaches 3 inches long running around my unit …all of the bags and boxes in my unit have holes in them. They were brand new when I bought them in there to store them. The customer bathroom was full of flies . For the most part things were good. There are some employees that seem to be grumpy and miserable. I am not sure why they are then in a service position. With that said. It is certainly not everyone that works there. Another issue was the card pass. It seemed to not work at times which would interfere with the hours that I could go to the unitHalima B. |
