Okay for one I made a reservation long before the day I was going to need the truck your employee called me the morning of maybe an hour before I was already supposed to be up there to cancel my reservation I was already on my way up there so I didn't get the phone call how can you do that to someone I had everything set up for that day to move in advance and the day of y'all ruined my whole moving situation since I was already there I got lucky and they had one small tiny truck that they only wanted to let me have for 4 hours then it took me longer than that so they way overcharged me I complained of course and got some of my money back but I am very disappointed and I think I should have been more than just taking off what you tried to overcharge me that is bad business I will never recommend U-Haul to anyoneBRANDON B.
My daughter was moving and she didn't reserve the u haul, but this location was very helpful and understanding the situation I was in, the employee was very helpful, had no problems here, will recommend this location to all my friendsCYNTHIA S.
I would not recommend this property. We arrived after nearly 1000 mile relocation and the location sold me a unit that they didn't have available, nor did they have any available units. The man was extremely unhelpful.I had paperwork that said I could return the truck + tow to that location and he had no record only after we unhitched the tow from the truck. He said he needed to hook it back up as he couldn't accept it, but he couldn't help bc he didn't know how to do it. After a call to a number, they got me a different storage location and a truck drop off, but allowed me to keep the tow at 2828 Marietta, he said that he needed my truck and I couldn't change locations. Unfortunately my experience continues to get worse, I would like a member of customer service to reach out to me so I can discuss this awful experience.Hernan B.

I rented a van for a week to pick to pick up equipment in atlanta. The equipment was not ready when it was suppose to be so i returned the van one day later with out going any where. i stopped and put two gallons of gas in it because i did drive it 12 miles. I was suppose to return it with the same amount of gas when it had more in it then when I pick it up. i was told it had 7/8 tank when i had pictures of what was in the tank. i told her she was wrong and she told me I was wrong when used the app to show what was in tank. She just said I wrong and we used the app wrong and we did everything. What i did wrong was to go to u-haul to rent a truck. Ill Never do that again!Steve C.

Better trucks because engine light was on it kept pulling and will I hits brakes I could have had a accident .And the truck could have stop on me for that Uhaul truck I had was terrible I would not recommend that location to no more I was so scare driving that truck and it was not clean when I received it very poor clean not to much of gas and when I return it back he telling me is it clean I told him when I received it was dirty in and out of that truck really was not satisfied for me to pay for I need a refund or some of my money because of your uhaul truck I could have a accident I never experience that and I always a customer to your I feel like I should have a refundableLIZA H.

The $19.95 plastered on the side of the trucks is very misleading - once mileage was factored in, a 10' truck cost me $460 + $110 in gas. Also, the online check-in and smartphone pick up took 40 minutes between waiting for someone to remotely authorize my rental and then waiting in line inside for the key... that's right, even with the online, smartphone pick up option you still have to wait in line and deal with employees to get your rental. Do your homework and do the math before renting, it might not be worth it.Thomas B.

This location needs to make sure that the trucks are in good working condition before renting them out. My truck ran horrible for my one way rental which was about 8 hours. I could tell no maintenance was done on this vehicle. The truck pulled to one side the whole trip and was jarring the entire time. Even the wipers were worn out.ALAINA T.

The girl checking the vehicle in was way too finicky. She found a tiny scratch on the top of the hood of the van near the windshield which was LESS than 1/4â€ long and accused me of doing it saying that it was my responsibility to have found it when I walked around the van when I took it out earlier that morning. No employee walked around to check the vehicle with me nor could they show any evidence that the mark had not been there before I picked it up. If UHaul is going to be that finicky when checking a vehicle in then they need to require that an employee do the walk around like the car rental companies do. Fortunately, the manager thought the girl had gone to far and disallowed her claim but this is NOT a way to keep customers. BTW, I had the additional insurance so this should never have been an issue. Because of this incident, I am rating this place below average. Everything else was fine.KAREN B.

I rented for over a year and the Storage hall area was always open and anyone can get access. Lights were off halfway down the hall sometimes. Due to hurricane and power outage, the storage was damp and have strong smell of molds for weeks. Boxes were crushed inside the storage with weights on top due to humidity and had smell of molds. I had no other issues other than alarm sounded every time the storage was opened, annoying. Other than that, it was normally quiet and clean. Should fix the building alarm so only appropriate people can get access. Could be better overall.John J. | Overall Experience

Location said it opened at 7am, I arrived at 7:05 all lights off and still locked until 7:15, the rental I was given had 1/4 tank of gas, which wasn't a problem with how far I needed it for but U-Haul charges a $30 service fee if brought back below a 1/4 of a tank. Almost like it was setup that way hmm. Check engine light was on in the truck. And to top it all off when I go to turn the truck in there was a syringe ðŸ'‰ that a junkie had thrown on the ground on their property right next to where I turned the truck in. 100% would not use this location again. Cost me $107 to rent a 15' truck for a couple hours and drive 30ish milesArthur A.

I'm on the phone as I'm writing this with y'all customer service number to dispute the fact that UHaul is charging me $36 for fuel fee and gas ,that was never there when I pick up this truck,the lady clearly explained that it was showing 1/4 of a tank but only had 1/8 ,so make sure I take a picture ,witch i did during the original inspection so y'all sure have that on file ,but when I got my final receipt y'all charging me $36 , that's why I'm disputing this here and again i been on hold for all most 20 minutes now !!JOSE H.

Deanna and her staff were very helpful. The experience that was not good came from the Contractors that demolished all of our belongings after Hurricane Ida to the point that even if anything was salvageable - it got destroyed by the bulldozers when discarded into piles of rubble in the rain and then extreme heat. When i did the renters insurance and was advised 1000, 5000 or 10,000i though that was the deductible and choose the 1000. I lost entire living room kitchens and two bedrooms of furniture which is way more than 1000. I pray that the next time someone rents, that the insurance is explained better than it was to me. The insurance company will only cover the $1000. Please send the name of the Contractor Team that demolished all the belongings so I can submit request for compensation from them. Before Hurricane Ida came about, Ms. Deanna and staff maintained the uhaul facility to perfect conditions. Never had an issue with this uhaul site until Corporation came from Phoenix after Hurricane Ida to throw my most sentimental/prized possessions in streets as though it was yesterday's trash. No one..absolutely no one..called and received my consent to dispose my property to streets, exposing it to the aftermath and elements of Hurricane Ida. I ordered a one way rental 15' truck 10 days prior on the internet, and it sent me to this location for pick up.I was moving my daughter from New Orleans to Jackson, MS. I arrived and the truck was not going to be available until the next day after 3 pm. I was upset and the ladies worked with me to get a truck but I had to return it back to the Kenner location by 1 pm the next day. The cost with the additional mileage was going to cost me double than the one way that I ordered.I took the truck and reached out to u haul that I was unhappy about this situation. I moved my daughter to her 3rd floor apartment and got the truck back the next day around 3 pm. The manager did credit me back to my original one way price and I am grateful that they worked with me. The ladies there were hard working and courteous and I could tell that they cared about their customers. I wished that the on line system should notify their customer or the branch get notifications when their are inventory issues, so they can let their customers notify in advance.RUSSELL W.

I reserved a unit online, and recieved a confirmation email that guaranteed my unit and price. Lucky i called on my way in to find out my unit was no longer available, and that i needed to get a larger one. I had to pay more for the unit, when i should have only had to pay for the amount agreed to in the contract. I have heard others who had similar issues with this location giving away reserved units.
