I have been renting trucks through this location for about 6 months, I own a moving company and on a normal week I spend hundred's to thousands of dollars at this location. This location has been threatening me, I feel professionaly degraded and disrespected from some of the employees at this location. The general manager keeps putting notes on my rentals that say if I don't have the truck returned when they want it returned then I will be band from renting trucks from U-Haul. The issue is I need the trucks for the time I reserve it for. I rent a truck for a 24hour period they want it returned in 23 hours instead but I pay for 24 hours. Or I need a truck reserved for a week they want to take 2 days off and tell me I can't take the truck if I can not have it back when they want. I feel this location is extremely unprofessional.Carl L.

Customer service at the pickup was great. When it came to drop-off, the communication was poor and it took me 4.5 hours to get through to a customer service representative. I was cut off 8 times, where someone got on the phone, asked me to hold and hung up on me. My drop-off location was changed twice, but i was not informed of the second change.Robert T.

We witnessed one of the best customer service experience at this location. A gentleman came in and had many questions about an order he had placed. Amanda, the Uhaul representative, was patient and kind. She gave him all the options available. She repeated some of it several times. Never rushed him. We all waiting in line we're also patient. The gentleman who was the customer had a health issue. After the customer left, satisfied and with all options on hand, it was our turn. While outside picking up our trailer, I complimented Amanda. She was kind, she was thorough, she was respectful. I asked if the gentleman had had a health issue recently and she said yes. Health issue or not, she treated him with dignity and respect. We all waiting in line could also appreciate her patience and kindness. In this world of turbulence, let's all be kind to one another. It does not cost us anything and we get much in return. There was an error on the documents with overcharges. the manager came out and told me she did not care about the proof I had, it was what it was. as she was talking she started to get close to me. I moved away and told her she was scaring me. she then told me to leave. as I walked away she yelled " I'd tell you to have a blessed day, but don't" We will absolutely be filing a complaint with the company etc. she was scary and intimidating.the bearded gentleman was nasty too. the equipment was dirty, with broken and cracked panels on the interior, and we were overcharged. I dropped off the trailer early and was instructed by an employee as to where I should leave it. A few hours later I got a very rude voicemail stating that they had not received it. The Manchester dispatch called a day before and said my 26' van wasn't available. The closest option was in Massachusetts! They offered to hitch a trailer to a smaller truck in Keene. The system in Keene didn't work, and we tried to change the drop-off location. The agent couldn't access it. I also wasn't able to check my rental equipment online. It said I hadn't bought insurance when I had. Finally, upon delivery of the van and trailer to the preferred location, in Princeton Junction. I was told when I called U-Haul the next morning that they would take care of it. Then I discovered that they had charged my debit card without authorization! I reported it to my bank. I was called the night before my move to say the location in Walpole, NH didn't have my equipment. I had B to drive into Keene for different equipment they failed to include the dolly I rented. I am a disabled older adult who has to schedule help and then struggle because of this failure. Poor planning on the part of uhaul in this case resulted in emergency on my part. Truck was dirty inside, we did have to ask them to clean up spilled coffee on dashboard, coffee had trail on floor. Riding down the I-81 brake fluid low light came on , so we did have to stop . Trying to call several times to Keene U-Haul, it was still morning hour's 10:00 am but none picked phone up ! Called out to our mechanic, who asked to check reservoir, brake fluid reservoir was last than half . So we did have to make a maintenance stop to fill it ? It should have been done before we rented the truck ? It could have turned up to be a dangerous situation in mountain drive !!! So obviously the fluids were not serviced.Ingrid T.
Personnel at Keene was extremely unprofessional. The manager was just ok, as she did not ask her associate to sit up in her chair when dealing with us. The associate was slouching as far back as she could go, we could not understand what she was saying, seemed to be in a cloud, as it were, not responsive to our questions. This place is a joke New take over had to smooth over all of the problems Had stuff stolen my lock was drilled out and another one was put on and they told me nobody did that we had to have a locksmith come and cut the laspe we still have the lock and key our key does not fit the lock. A very special item was taken from our locker and can never be replaced and they lied to us about somebody going into our locker the locksmith gave us a statement so the new takeover people made a deal with me return my money for the time that I was there but how do you return a piece of paper that is priceless and you can never find another one We had a letter in a bottle that they broke and the letter was taken out of it I'm not very happy about it I want to talk to somebody about it I have saved all the evidence with the lock being drilled in the locker being broken intoRodney P. | Overall Experience

Our biggest issue was the difficulty of setting up an account when we checked in. We already had an account & a unit. We were just adding another unit.
