I rent a Uhaul trailer 3 or 4 times a year, so it's unusual when one rental experience stands out as being especially good. In this case however, they were spectacular. I rented at 7:00 am and needed to leave as soon as possible. The staff was friendly (even at 7 am) and my trailer was hooked up and ready to go by 7:15. Wow! Thanks!Gary F.
The truck was dirty when it was received ans smelled like cigarette smoke. Also, the mirrors on both side of the truck were locked in place and could not be adjusted - they only showed what was immediately to the side and rear of the truck and were worthless on the highway. Clean the windshield. There were so many bugs splatted into it it was difficult to see looking directly into the morning sun leaving the facility. It also stunk of a heavy smoker even though no smoking signs were on the windows. The paperwork was fast and easy and people were friendly.Tobin R.

Appreciated the customer service received by Emmanuel at the desk. He was very courteous and helpful. Separately, I would like to note that while truck was clean, the truck strongly smelled like someone had previously smoked marijuana while in it. I would like to register a formal complaint as I don't feel I should pay full rate for the rental of the truck as receiving the Uhaul truck through 24/7 system was a complete failure. I was to pick up the truck at 10 and was not able to get the 24/7 Uhaul app to work. I called the 800 corporate number and they were also unable to get it to work. Ultimately, the representative was able to redirect me to another site. The delay cost me an additional $125.00 in labor fees for the added hours due to the delay. Have the rental trucks full of fuel. I've never rented anything that had only 1/4 of tank. What do you guys expect the customers to fill it up for you? Also i did dropped the truck at 6:50 PM, the guy from front desk told me don't worry i will have your truck checked and invoice sent. I'm extremely disappointed! I was charged more than I was told I would be charged although before checking out I spoke to one of the front desk attendants to make sure my checkout would be smooth. I believe the locations have responsibility to check the equipment and make sure it is safe for rental. My trailer had no brake fluid and a faulty emergency brake. I ended up stranded on a very unsafe stretch of road. To add insult the repair service sent had not been told what was wrong leading to him not bringing the necessary tools. It took both of us to finally get a fix that allowed me to finish my trip.William H.

I submitted an online order for a trailer and (2) furniture dollies. When I arrived, I was told they did NOT have any furniture dollies. I was not happy. I told the counter help that without the dollies, I would not be able to move ANY furniture. I mentioned that the equipment was guaranteed, according to the online system. The owner stepped in and said only the TRAILER was guaranteed. They did find (1) dolly and called another U-HAUL location that did have a dolly I could pickup. When I arrived at the other location, they said they did NOT have any extra dollies. I ended up having to purchase another furniture dolly so I could move my furniture. The only complaint I have is the employees were always parking in the unloading shaded spots. At times, I couldn't park to load or unload because they were taking up most of the spots. I paid for 24 hour access and wasn't able to use it but once. The keypad never worked and I was continually told it would be fixed in "two weeks". They once tried to blame me and told me my card must have been erased by my phone, but even the new card didn't work. Also, the cost of the storage unit is ridiculous compared to the area storage units.
