TRUCK HAD SEAT COVER THAT SLIDE OFF EVERY TIME YOU GOT IN OR OUT. TRUCK RAN GOOD, BUT HAD LOUD CLANGING MUFFLER OR SOMETHING OBNOXIOUS. A/c WAS GREAT. FUEL ECONOMY WAS TERRIBLE. 10 GALLONS FOR 68 MILES. I FEEL THE PROXIMITY OF THE GAS PEDDLE TO THE BRAKE PEDDLE IS DANGEROUS. FIRST TIME I PUT IT IN REVERSE, THE TRUCK LURCHED BACKWARDS - WENT TO STOMP BRAKE AND IT ACTUALLY ALSO DEPRESSED THE GAS PEDDLE AND MISSED RAMMING A CAR BEHIND ME BY A GOD SEND STOP. GOT TWO PACKS OF BLANKETS, SEALED IN BAG JUST IN CASE. NEVER USED THEM. CHECK IN LADY YELLED AT ANOTHER ATTENDENT FOR THE WHOLE STORE TO HEAR " HE GOTTA PAY ANYHOW"!!. I DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR A PRE-PAID REFUND, I JUST TO THE ATTENDENT.... WIERD.ROBERT W.

That's an inconvenience because I know I didn't owe U-Haul and when I did keep the truck two years ago I called every day and paid every dime I owed. The staff was great, very helpful. They checked to make sure we didn't need anything else for our move and helped hookup the trailer.DANIELLE R.
Inspect the truck before you rent it out, no matter if it came in the night before. If I can go out and look at the truck and in two minutes come back in and tell you the whole left passenger outside tire was blown out, with a large chunk missing from it, then someone there should have caught it. Instead of contacting the help line for me, you left it to me to contact them ,and it took one hour and 22 minutes before I ever reached someone on the phone. I had people I was paying by the hour, that I had to pay for doing nothing until I got the truck over there. I was put out at least two hours and then another 45 minutes for the tire to be changed. Then Uhaul in Macon Ga had the nerve to charge me 42 dollars because I could find no uhauls listed in Ga, I drove to six that were empty lots, until I found on on Gray Highway. I did not have that truck a full 24 hours with all the problems I had with it. Kevon at Uhaul Tara Blvd Jonesboro ga said they would refund my credit card 75 dollars. I paid my help sittin around do nothing more than that. This could have been prevented if Uhaul employees who check trucks did their job.ROGER W.

When you rent a uhaul, please provide a key for the lock connected to the truck. When the key is not available please do not force the guests to have to pay for a lock. Its either a service offered or it is not. Please pick a lane and take responsibility if the key is not available. From the General Manager down they seemed think its policy to charge the guest fir buying a lock. If this is policy, please revise. There will be no repeat business.Andrew A.

I PURCHASED UNIT #2408 ON WEDNESDAY 21st of July I tried to move some things in my storage on Saturday 24th of July my gate access key didn't work I was stuck behind the gate and couldn't get out for three hours I called customer service I was on hold for 50 minutes they finally gave me a code to open the gate so that I can get out the very next morning I went back to to storage unit still my key wouldn't work I went to the front office and was told that an employee there had sold the storage unit that I purchased on Wednesday 21st of July to a Michael Wilson I was very disappointed because I had a delivery of a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but the delivery driver called in sick thank God or they would've been delivery to a storage unit that an employee sold to someone else that was supposed to have been my unit!! THE STORE MANAGER KEVON SMITH GAVE ME A LARGER UNIT FOR THE PRICE OF THE SMALLER UNIT THAT AN EMPLOYEE GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE TO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE WHICH WAS NICE BUT I STILL WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THAT UNIT BECAUSE ITS UPSTAIRS THE FLOORS ATE WOOD AND LOOKS AS IF THE FLOORS OPEN UP AND SOMEONE CAN ENTER MY UNIT FROM THE UNIT UNDERNEATH AND STEAL MY THINGS!!! My order was transferred here from the Uhaul at 7469. My experience with the order I placed at this location was HORRIBLE!! 1. I ordered a truck, movers and storage space online. Website said open at 7, for there door says 9. Sign says call mgr if needed: No answer, can't leave VM. Couldn't get truck. Help number on contract FROM UHAUL was for Storage Source. Who? What? Can't use mobile to get truck. Apparently they contract out to them for storage?? How am I supposed to know???? After repeated calls and many, many frustrating tears, (I'm 68, and paying movers by the hours) to various numbers, finally talked to Uhaul. They transferred my truck order down the street. Great, however, when it came to â€œwhere is my storage unitâ€ they didn't have my order and none available. Contacted the original place and this is where I find out they contract out, they don't have my order and none available. I had to leave and find a new storage with Public Storage. This move started at 8 to pickup truck; movers at 9 and truck driver at 8 for 3 hrs. We didn't finished until 2:20!! I was highly frustrated and cannot believe this. When I tried to locate my original order for all 3 services, the site kept saying error. I was told I would be getting a $50 credit. I need $500!!! and a massive apology for the for anguish this day caused me. By the way, I have used UHaul in Philly in May, June 2021, and here in Atlanta in October 2020 and never experienced anything like this. In fact up North, UHaul is A-okay, this 7569 location uses storage contractors???? Tell a person upfront!!!! Up North Public Storage is not on my favorite list. Down here they turned out to be A-Okay. For now. I'm just throughly disgusted with this order. SINCERELY!JUSTIN W.

I called the second day of rental and told the GM that i needed to keep the truck longer and i was very polite, this woman said to (well how do you know if there is not a reservation for it already and then says i nees the truck back today and a friend of mine says what is this woman problem she then rudely hangs up on me, i called your 1800 number was on a mega hold for over a hour and still never got a response. Been with y'all for years but I doubt will ever see a future of my money again or anyone i know cause ill tell the world to go somewhere elseCARLOS G.
I have had my storage unit for several years and I am never late due to my account being on auto pay. Recently I had several fraud transactions on my bank account, and I was forced to cancel my card. Through the process of protecting myself, I didn't realize Uhaul was one of accounts connected to my card, and would be affected until I received a letter informing me. I called the location, and spoke to a lady that was very rude and unprofessional. She spoke over me and when I corrected her pronunciation of my name she mocked me. I also asked her about waiving my fees and she informed me that they would have needed to know in advance about my situation. I asked " so I needed to let you know in advance that someone would be committing fraud on my account?" I asked her for the Store Manager or customer service. She said she would transfer me to customer service, but I somehow got the Morrow location instead. The lady at the Morrow location successfully transferred me to customer service, but I was hold for an hour. The Jonesboro location need a lot of work on their customer service. During the time I have had my Uhaul storage, I have been locked in the storage facility by the staff, the restroom is always filthy, verbally attacked by a staff member for a delinquent account that was not mine, and now this. If you didn't include the people in this process , I would recommend Uhaul to my friends and family.Shanika G. | First Impressions

My reservations was moved to this location. Was originally scheduled for a location near my house at 170 Oak Manor 30214. And it cost me about 30 miles in extra that I didn't need to pay but I did. I had my stuff stored here since 2003 and was finally able to afford to move it out this month. Most of the time it was easy to make payments, there were a few months over the years I made a payment and they said I did not and tried to double charge me but I was able to call and the staff remedied the screw up. When I was finally able to pick my stuff up it was for the most part just dusty and cobwebs but so far have not found any rodent droppings or bugs that is a huge plus.
