About 7 years ago, I had a bad experience at this location, and had avoided it and U-Haul ever since. The manager at that time was incredibly rude. The next time I rented a truck, it was from Budget, and their customer service was worse! So I took a chance and crossed my fingers that this location of U -Haul had improved, and my how they have! I was greeted pleasantly at renting and returning, customer service was great, with smiles all around!TERRI I.

The facility and the trailer were fine but I had to return the trailer early because of a flat tire. I put air in it but the problem was obviously with the valve because although it quit leaking after I put in air, I couldn't get a pressure reading on an air gauge because the valve was malfunctioning. Because of this, I didn't dare use it for the remaining five hours I had left in case it went flat again and with a bad valve, I wasn't sure I'd be able to add air. My complaint is with the roadside assistance people, they kept me on hold so long I finally just hung up and returned the trailer early. I had hired help just standing around while this was going on so I finally had to send them home. That was very poor service. The recording kept telling me to save time and my phone battery by doing it all online but I didn't have that option. Makes me wonder if you kept me on hold so long just to force me to use the Internet?DAVID L.

One tire was inflated to bead-seating pressure and the other to the pressure listed on the tire's sidewall. Trailer rode very rough as a result. The online experience was a complete fail. I always had to call to talk to a live person to make changes or get anything accomplished. So the people I worked with were pretty nearly all excellent, but the computer database kept defaulting to an 8-year old address I once had and would not allow me to change my contact phone number which is crucial for the day-before-rental scheduling. Also I had to drive an hour from my home location to pick up a truck even though I reserved one weeks in advance.ERIC R.

The printer was out of service at this location and I could only get an email receipt. On the other hand, maybe it is time to give up paper and just sent email. It was a really good rental expierience -- quick, easy and I appreciated getting the maximum LDW coverage for peace of mind. The truck worked well and the overall price was quite reasonable. I reserved a truck about a month before the reservation and reserved a 20' truck. A few days before pickup, I learned that I would need to drive about 160 miles (round trip) to pick up a 20' truck, so I ended up settling for a 15' truck, and was not able to fit all of my belongings I was planning to bring for my move. We were given an option to rent a u-haul with a months free storage rent only to arrive in Utah and the storage unit building (Ogden self storage) no longer worked with U-haul. We were told wrongful destination and wrongful information. We chose that storage unit location because of the free months rent (which was all we needed). Rental went well and accomplished the job at hand. I reserved the trailer for a Tuesday and did not find out that the material that I would be hauling could not be available to me until Wednesday morning. The steering wheel was not aligned and there was no sound so I had to drive in silence. The radio system didn't work. I've never needed a uhaul so I didn't know how they were supposed to drive. I was there afterhours reorganizing. And I was approached by the facility manager and a sales associate claiming I was living in the unit. Also, I notified the facility I was moving out. A day before I moved out my passcode was terminated I was still paid up one extra day. They automatically assume I was not going to pay my bill and lock up my stuff. Wrong!!! While moving out my stuff on a sunday they came to me ans told me that I would have to come back on the next day to finish. Because my code was canceled and they wabted to go home for the eveing. I had every right to stay and finish moving out my belongings. I was a customer over a year. My rental payment were never late. The service in the past has been ok, but the people in the past didn't always seem like they had enough support, maybe understaffed, slow, poor knowledge of the computer system. We sold our house. The new one isn't ready to move into so we are staying in one of the kids basements. My husband is having surgery. We have to move our things from the unit the day before. In all of the confusion we can't find the keys to the lock. It's our lock. We just need to get the unit unloaded before my husband has surgery on his arm and is incapacitated for 6 months. We apparently missed the fine print that says we can't cut our own lock off of the unit. Your security man acted like we had breeched a nuclear facility The staff will grant us access to our stuff for a few dollars Or.... we can pay a complete stranger to breech the lock. This seems unethical and at least nonsensical. It most certainly showed a lack of compassion. What is the point of this policy anyway?
