Ronald dI booked my UHaul three weeks in advance and added an extra day. My original location was closed and I couldn't access the truck so I was rescheduled for three hours later at another location over 20 miles away. We had movers scheduled and were on a tight schedule. The delay complicated our entire move. I got a call today about the truck being late but I had scheduled an extra day so the return wasn't supposed to be until Tuesday at 9 am, not Monday at noon. We had to rush to get the truck unloaded and had it back at 3:30 Monday. I was still charged an extra day even though the return location rushed us to get the truck back. When I picked the truck up Sunday, I had to correct the gas level from 3/8 tank to 1/4 tank. I added the photo of gas and mileage as requested by the app. When I returned the truck today it was over 1/4 tank which was notated on my receipt but I was still charged the gas fee plus 3 gallons. The last two times I've rented a UHaul it has been a nightmare. This was the last straw for me. I have had to pay out so much extra money just this move for UHauls mistake. Very very unhappy.

Lacey GMs Natasha at regional office (columbus) alloted wrong boxes for delivery FOUR out of five, argued and supported we care moving help guys(UNLOADING). we care moving charged me without doing any work on that day and steal payment code from my computer while i was talking to natasha over the phone and we care moving guys gave me bad review after deleting my review(I asked company over the phone to delete because unfortunately it went loading moving help people). we care moving guys submitted bad review on me after my review on them. even though my review was excellent to them as they beg me to give review because they are poor and have children and don't get work with bad review. finally i booked another moving help for following week for unloading.

Needless to say I was having a terrible day and this upset me even more!! So in answer to the question. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!! I will tell them to go to a different store.
Candelaria LThe facility is nice, well maintained, and accommodating. I really appreciated the bays to pull into and unload so that our stuff doesn’t get wet and we can unload to see everything. I also really appreciated all of the carts. It made the transfer from the truck to the unit a lot better than if there was no carts available. A few complains: the first is that I was called the day before with the staff wanting me to come and put a lock on my unit. I was moving from over 3 hours away, so obviously this wasn’t an option. If you look at my information, you can see that I can’t just ride up and do this. So why stress someone out about something that is unnecessary. As the information said, I wasn’t even going to be moving in until a day later. Another complaint, the alarm was going off constantly as we were there loading the unit. Not sure if it was because our door was open or what. It got to the point at the end where the alarm was going off every 5 minutes. Quite irritating when you’ve been moving a 26 foot long uhaul for two days and unloading it, transferring everything into a storage unit for 6-7 hours. My last complaint is that there is no trash cans. The only option I seen for disposing of any trash or old boxes is paying $8 to use the dumpster. That’s a little insane to me when I’m already paying $150/month for a medium storage unit. It would be nice to have some trash cans around the facility to dispose of the left over trash/boxes/etc. so that you can ensure the truck is cleaned before returning. I did like the idea of having a “donation” spot where you could leave items you didn’t want for others to pick up. That was cool.

Cristela D | First ImpressionsThere is always an issue when I have to interact with the office at this location. The printer is down, the system is down, the internet is down, or some other issue. This weekend, I showed up at 8am to pick up my reserved uhaul truck. The app wouldn’t allow me to pick up the truck even though I ordered it for mobile pickup. I called the support number and they let me know I’d have to wait for 9am when the office would open. I waited and the cashier tells me he changed my reservation the night before and didn’t call me to tell me. So I had movers with me at 8am and couldn’t do anything until after 9 when I got the truck. I pay entirely too much money to have to deal with these issues.

The lady helping me kept having to answer the phone while she was looking up things for me which was distracting and lengthened the time it took to help me. Never had a chance with phone calls to ask about price differences between trailers. Got there early next morning and inquired about the price difference and was told it was the same for same day return. Again, a different lady was filling out the info for my rental and she had to keep answering the phone? Too many distractions happening. Other folks were there that could've answered the phone. They had one trailer on the lot that I could've used but they were holding until another was returned. The trailer I used worked with a little trouble. Overall, I got what I wanted, but the time it took to reserve and eventually rent the trailer was way longer than it should've been.
MORRIS LMy reservation was not ready. I had to wait about 1 hour when picking up the truck. The guy didn’t know what he was doing. I had to dispute all of the pictures of the truck. When dropping off the truck we had more problems about pictures that were not up about miles. They also letting me know I was not supposed to have the truck for 3 days (the days were on my reservation) I will not return back to this location.

She said I needed to go in to the store and get a card to use to enter the facility. I don’t understand why it said I could access the unit if I really couldn’t. It was very frustrating because I went over there with a load and couldn’t do anything with it.

It should be rated by days used for that month and get refunded for the rest of the days I was out for.. I think that would help for uhaul to get more business !! I paid $129,95 for the unit and I was was out on the 3rd day after Uhaul charged my card !!

While waiting to purchase rope a black lady came to pickup her 26 foot truck. She had a confirmation number. All he would tell her is she had no truck nothing else. She asked what about ones on the lot he said they were for other customers. After she left I asked him if it was because she was black he said no it was because she had reserved on line going one way. Uhaul does this all the time. All his trucks were local only. He could have helped her more. I too was going one way in a 26footer. And was soooooo glad I chose Penske or I too would have loaders to pay & no truck. Shame on uhaul

When room came available you called and helped me to start my journey to reconstruct. Everything was explained and I was walked through the process completely. The store was Immaculate and so well stocked. All packaging supplies were available, and explained as per there use. I was able to purchase supplies that I could not find anywhere in town. I never had a time when I absolutely needed storage until this hurricane, and my experience was perfect. There is a great staff available for all my needs and I can say that this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a very trying time of my life. I was blessed.
DONALEEN C | First ImpressionsMy storage number was 1675 and the roof had leaked prior to hurricane ida and I’ve tried making a claim and went back in forth with the insurance and office personal. Insurance told me to take it up with the office and the office handed me a pamphlet to call the insurance. I’ve even gotten intouch with the previous owner of the same storage from 2 yrs prior to me having it and they had the same issue. The facility now needs a lot of maintenance and roof issues, and that particular storage should have never been reissued until that leak was fixed .

I was charged 21st each month and that's fine but I moved out on the 1st and you're able to rent it to someone else and it's like uhaul gets double rent for those amount of days. I shouldn't have to pay for the days I'm no longer using it and moved out. That is my only complaint. Thank you.

Reservations made based on units available, but once got there informed nothing of that size available so had to instead utilize two smaller sizes. Doable, but will ultimately be more expensive and not an accurate reflection overall. Regardless, a great facility with a very friendly and courteous staff!

I went it to pick up the truck and an hour later, I was leaving with the truck. it should not have taken an hour to get the truck I reserved ahead of time. I also bought a lock for the storage unit at this time and they charged me $11.95 instead of $9.95 and it took a long time for the girl to take give me the sale price. About 5 hours later, I came to get into my storage unit and it was locked. I called to have them take their lock off and had to wait again. I returned the truck about 5 hours earlier than expected when the staff was still in the office. The guy looked over the truck and told me what my balance was. I wanted a printed receipt so I went inside the office to get one. There I was that I was billed for 2 utility dollys, even though we only had one. The office girl was unable to refund the me the second $7 charge.Two days later, I am still waiting for my refund. The manager who is able to process the refund has been out of the office for the past few days on sick leave.

Have to take off cart and Manually and physically maneuver the load Everything else is nice but it is Too difficult Getting load in and out. This facility is designed only for renters with small household goods that fit on little carts.

Bryar W | First ImpressionsFirst, the hours stated that my unit would be available was COMPLETELY wrong! When I rented the unit the girl said 24 hours. Great. Rented a trailer to fully move out of my house that day. When I got back with my first load she informed me that they were actually closing at 5 so that would be the only load I could take. I paid for a 4 hour rental for ONE load. They said that the following week it would be 24 hours. Went back 2 weeks later to drop some things off before leaving state for a few months. What do you know, its closed 8am on a Sunday! I got roaches now that I did not have before moving my stuff in there. My card rarely worked, so the alarm went off all the time. I complained this last time and they closed my storage!!! I had just paid a few days before that! I just wanted access to my stuff! They said I would need to pay another $10 for 24 hours. I declined but never once did I ask to close the unit as I had no where to store my stuff. Every time I dealt with them they were extremely rude. One associate tried saying I intentionally ripped the light out of the trailer! I had showed them how it fell and mentioned how the trailer wasn't put on right. When I got to my destination and went to take my car off, the entire trailer lifted. it wasnt on the ball hitch properly. I am just happy it didnt detach while I was driving down the highway. Not sure how this place is even open.
