I used the remote check-in website feature. I got there to pick up my vehicle, received a call and the woman asked for a copy of my passport. That wasn't going to happen because I was at the location picking up my truck already. She settled for calling my wife for identity validation. It was a hassle.

The truck that I was given was very old and not well maintained. It burned oil horribly bad, left oil stains on my new homes driveway and smelled of burning oil when driving. The truck also drove almost sideways as the front and rear did not line up when driving down the road.

We rented this trailer on line. When we filled out the online info we requested the insurance on the trailer. Another family member picked up the trailer and was asked again about insurance and told we really didn't need it. So the family member declined. Luckily we had no issues. I don't understand why you have customer fill out all of the information on line and then don't use the information. Or at least go over what the customer requested on line if you want to verify and not redo all paperwork. Other than this the service was good.

I made a reservation for a pickup truck. I go to pick up the truck that evening but their pickup truck had a 4 pin trailer hookup & my trailer required a 7 pin. A couple employees really did try their best. Lack of proper training isn't their fault. They kept bringing out different adapters, but they didn't seem knowledgeable with what I was asking/needing. The store was closing soon (honestly, they were just done with me & wanted me to leave) so they told me to come back in the morning, that the manager would be in at 7am and he'd have the correct adapter. So I take the pickup truck home. (BIG MISTAKE) I get there right at 7am to be told the manager isn't coming in until 10am. Ummm what!? I needed the pickup truck to pull my personal trailer at 8am. The employee tried his best to help, I'll give him that. The manager just HAPPENED to show up at 7:30am, to tell me they didn't have the adapter I needed. I had to cancel my ENTIRE day's income. As a small business owner this was HUGE. And not only mention a huge inconvenience to my clients. Since I had made preparations the night before, I had put my personal equipment in the truck bed, so I had to drive it BACK home to empty it. (more miles=$$$) Upon returning to return the truck to Uhaul, the older employee was apparently talking to me from all the way across the store but dude... I'm behind a 6 foot divider, I didn't even see you come back in the store and talking in a regular volume voice from across the store sure doesn't help. He made a sexist joke saying, "just like a women... never listens to anything I say." Then proceeded to tell me I owe $60. I asked for the manager. They said he was going to be busy for a while. (Since my day was wide open now that I had to cancel an entire day's work, I had plenty of time now to sit and wait.) A couple minutes later, lo and behold the manager walks in. The manager kept mumbling/whispering to me (I guess so the other customers in line didn't hear?!) but at that point I was so done with the whole thing that I just nodded. He gave me $20 off but I shouldn't have had to pay for anything. I specifically picked up the pickup truck the night before I needed it to try to avoid this very situation. Had I known the truck wasn't going to work, I would've had the rest of the evening to find another solution AND NOT BE CHARGED TO RENT A PICKUP TRUCK I COULDN'T EVEN USE.

I feel I was taken advantage of. The truck said $19.95 In Town !!!!!!!!!! I was charged $ 79.00 I traveled 68 miles total. I was not given a receipt when I rented the truck to ask them about the Charges and when I returned the truck I was told the computer was down so I could not ask questions about the billing. I feel they lied to me so they didn't have to review the bill and just send me on my way. This is a RIP OFF and I will be glad to share with as many people as I can. So they don't get RIPPED OFF too. And being a writer for a magazine I hope it helps me spread the word easily. I will be surprised IF I hear back from anyone but you have my contact information.

We're long term, ongoing customers. Our experience till now has been very good. Unfortunately our most recent rental was a mess. The customers outnumbered employees 3 to 1. New emoyees who apparently were not trained made this take forever both pick up and drop off. Everything was incorrect, fuel at pick up, mileage at drop off. The one long term very professional employee had to straighten everything out and he was all stressed out trying to do 4 people's jobs. One guy was standing in the service window with a sandwich in one hand and a drink in the other telling me to just leave the keys in the truck he'd take care of it later. Really. Very unprofessional, untrained people.

Employee left me on hold for 53 minutes. I was able to hear them working with a customer once they was done with that customer they held a conversation with each other. Hung up then called back. Put me back on hold. Omg. Not friendly at all.

I ask for 1 day rental ,The Black Dude put me down for 8 hrs the truck had a bad misfire at idle the Black dude said there is nothing wrong the price was 50% more than what I was quoted . on 5-14-2019 I was told there would be a pick up truck reserved for me on 5-15-2019 at 10:am . I arrived at 10 am and was told that there was no pick up available. then I was offered a van in place of what I ask for. since it was a time sensitive move I had no choice but to except . After reaching my destination I discover that the pick up item would not fit in van. so I lost both ways. after making a reservation I expected to get what I paid for. Don't offer what you can't deliver, it cost me money for nothing.

The trucks drivers door would not shot correctly. The brakes were chirping. The transmission was shifting oddly. The starter needs to be replaced the the bindex was bad. In general the truck was a 4 out of a 10.

My uhual was setup at a different location than the pickup. Upon arrival there were a couple issues with the booking. However the staff sorted it all out and corrected everything perfectly. Highly recommend!

While renting the truck and the shape of the vehicle was excellent and straightforward, I was disappointed with the customer service upon returning. I drove 40 miles total for my rental and had it for approx 6 hrs. Whoever wrote the odometer report upon return said I drove 1036 miles, and no one caught that or noticed the discrepancy. This would mean that Uhaul trucks are capable of an average speed of 173mph for that number to show up for the duration I had it. Imagine my surprise that from this, I got an over $1200 charge on my credit card(charged by the mile). Lastly, even after getting my return receipt online, I received a call from the location asking if I returned the vehicle. Despite me having returned it yesterday, and with the paperwork to show it. I will give credit to management whom after I called to point this out, they were quick to apologize and refund. However, it has been over 48 and I've yet to see that money returned to my account. I understand these things take time, but that's a lot of money that's been tied up that's preventing me from other purchases. On the whole, while I'll give credit for the state of the vehicles and the professionalism of management, I highly recommend you double check immediately what they claim to bill you upon returns. Management also needs to improve communication and attention to detail with their employees for missing some massive issues that'll be headaches for everyone. I was fortunate I caught this early enough that it won't be an issue before my next payday, but others may not be so lucky.

The worker and older white man got my mileage messed up he tried to charge me 62$ for my total and I only traveled 4miles he was going so fast like he was trying to get over on me but I asked him to show me were I traveled 24 miles and that’s when he said let me check the mileage again so that’s when he came back and said I’m sorry you went 4miles so I’m thinking he thought I was slow or dumb and wasn’t gonna say anything but I paid what I was suppose to pay and it wasn’t 62$ I will not be using that location again

I reserved a trailer online at 2 different UHAUL locations to drive to it and find that it was not available. Finally after spending hours of time driving around the entire region I was able to find this one.

The wait time to up the vehicle I ordered was way to long. The guy who apparently checked the vehicle told me to go into my e-mail to check the car. He walked away and did not tell me anything and I had to go back into the stroe to asked if it was okay for me to leave. I did not get a receipt when I retuned the vehicle. I don't know what I'm being charged for the use of the vehicle.

I would recommend that payment for services is made a little more clear. Ex. If you pay in cash it will cost more than if you pay on a card. Also you can't pay 2 different ways..ex. 1/2 on card and 1/2 in cash. I do appreciate the professionalism of the General Manager Byron Dennis. He made what could have been a difficult situation easier.

Personnel make all the difference, some people report they have had issues at this location. All I can say is based upon on my experience. This time getting and dropping off was handled by Byron..... He was great, he knew what he was doing and expressed himself in a professional and positive manner. Good guy you could certainly use more people like him. Two thumbs up for UHAUL mostly based upon a good representative to your company.

I really don’t appreciate getting a phone call the next morning from a pissed of Byron basically asking me sternly “why would I block the gate ALL NIGHT LONG” ! I was never told at pick up, where to exactly park my rental upon returning it!! It I would have parked it behind the units already there, I would have blocked the entrance. If I would have parked it in front of the units, I could have been taking a chance on blocking a rental that all right I have been scheduled for pick up after hours. So I backed up to the last open gate, not knowing that this was wrong! It was dark out, so I didn’t notice any signs, if there was any, stating “don’t park here”! Had I parked it in the open lane, I would have blocked the only way left to pull through the lot!! There needs to be given more instructions given at pick up, on where to park your rental after hours!! I hustle think it’s ridiculous that you get charged more to drop your vehicle off and the location of the closest to where you unloaded the truck!

I did ask to change the billing credit card when I returned the truck but the manager was training a new hire and witing on 3 other people at the time I asked. Her had to send another associate to help trainee due to phone battery for picture taking of return being dead. that assocviate went ahead and rang up my account on the original credit card trying to assist the manager and being unaware of my request-when manger came back to me he said all was done and I would get receipt in email as we had previously agrreed-it ws then he found remembered my request. I told him to disregard.despite the 15-20 minutes i waited to get checked out and request taken care of. Not a big deal and I understood how busy manager was. I just had to note this.

A little more customer service training wouldn’t hurt. And if there’s going to be a sign that tells customers returning equipment to wait there and attendant will meet you, I expect someone to come outside. I don’t expect to have to go inside to be greeted by blank stares and to have to ask for help.

Rented appliance dolly. In the past they put it for you in the truck. This time I had to do it on my own. No one asked if I needed help, a big departure from the past.

When we moved out of the unit there was alot of bugs-crickets, June bugs, water bugs, ants , spiders. For climate controlled it was not sealed good if that many bugs can get to an inside unit
