NAVEED MClean the inside of windshield and center console. Couldn't out the windshield and sticky food on the center console. Otherwise all good.

My husband and I both decided that we will always use the U-Haul on Brainard Road, Hartford going forward even though there is a U-haul closer to where we live. Thank you for making our move easy.

TIMOTHY KUhaul obligates to pay an insurance coverage to all vehicles. My American express credit card has an insurance coverage to any cargo van (that's what I rent) that I can rent. They told me I have to go to the App and manually change that; every time I wanted to change it, a message of "unfortunately we can't process the request..." Because I need it to rent the van, I was obligated to pay the insurance coverage that I didn't wanted. If there's a glitch or something in the opt out option of coverage, UHAUL should be sued.
GUSTAVO HTo make taking a uhaul from the app more seamless since the app bugged out for me. But besides that everything else went without a problem.

MAYRA VThe last 2 trucks were not well maintained. The one I rented 8/16/2024 the radio didn't work. When I returned the truck it took over 25 minutes for the person to look over the truck and get me a receipt. She was talking on her phone. It should od taken 5 minutes to check in. When I returned my last truck 8/19/2024 a different person took over 20 minutes to check out the truck. Again this should of only taken less then 5 minutes. I was very nice and never complained but was upset because this is not how I treat my customers. When I'm at work my customers come first not my personal life.

Scott HI was given a key with no direction to the truck. Went back in to ask for assistance because the guy outside wasn't helping and she put me in the wrong truck. Then the initially unhelpful guy asked me what for my key number and he said I was in the wrong truck. Yeah I eventually got help but I felt like I was being more of an inconvenience even tho I am paying for this service. Idk!!! Maybe I should have paid more in miles to go to another location.

DEMETRIOS K | First ImpressionsOne staff working although 2 other staff was present refused to help her out took the equipment she was using to help a customer resulting in her having to use her person device. Waited 45 to 50 mins just to pick up a rental all while there were rude and difficult customers causing a scene the staff did not have support from the other 2 staff while the customers were yelling and cussing in the store it was a hot mess!
JANELLE EPut the real prices.. I was getting a $20 10' Van and for some reason ended up paying like $38 but they don't even tell you or explain you where the other charge it's coming from.. I use the truck for 1 hour maybe less if I knew the price was that I prefer to go to home depot and rent his equipment
JOEL NA bit of a wait to pick up the truck even though I did the entire check-in on the app. Was asked for information at check-in that I had entered on the app - seemed redundant. Wasn't clear as to where to return the truck and the process - had to wait to ask the person at the desk. The procedures to return the truck could have been explained better. Otherwise everyone was very helpful and friendly.

LUIS BThe online system said that the dolly was already in the truck, but it wasn't. The location staff said that they never put them in the trucks. It wasn't inconvenient to go in to get it. I would recommend having the online system just tell you to go in to get it so you know what to expect.

BARBARA CThe trailer was not swept clean from last use. I had the trailer for 66 minutes. I drove it home. I measured the overall length and decided I was not comfortable with the set up for where I needed it to go. I promptly returned the trailer. Obviously, there wasn't enough time elapsed to have made use of the rental but I was charged for the entire day anyway. Common sense and good faith use to count for something in these situations. Not anymore. Disappointed with my experience.

DENISE W | Overall ExperienceI hired movers to pick up the UBox in Hartford, so I don't know if they were friendly and helpful. The movers had no complaints, however. The box arrived in Denver a couple of days early. There was no damage to the items in the box, so it was packed well by our movers and transported as promised. Using the U Box was the most cost-effective way to get the items from Hartford to Denver. I was very happy when I found this solution to moving a small apartment of things across the country.
Marie LThe installation experience was good, the technician was very good and apologized for mixup with scheduling. The communication leading up to appointment was bad, my first appointment was canceled and I was given 10 minutes notice, wasting vacation time. That part was very frustrating.

Matthew SIf you have a system wide issue you should be able to do manual paperwork offline with copies of your customers information so they can dispatch at all times. The system wide issue wasn't even allowing your back up to work. The associates kept us updated and kept trying to log in to see if the system or the back up system were up so they could dispatch us. It took them 1hr and 30 minutes to do so. I was pleased with the associates handling of the issue but U-Haul should have a paperback up in case something like this happens again. As long as you are regular customer you should be able to bypass this issue.

They were transparent and the fee did not increase after a couple of months, unlike Extra Space storage that raise the fee after you move your belongings in. I would definitely recommend U- Haul, the service was great, great communication and no hides fees.

But after further looking over all my belongings there was nothing damaged. It was just stolen. I filed a police report and the office was not cooperative.
