Ended up doing a last minute move. Very stressful. Didn't get his name but the guy at this location was very helpful and professional. They had a good amount of trucks available and we were able to get in and get out quickly. Made that part of the move very simple!Aajah-nae W.

The truck I was issued had no air conditioning. Also I was informed by your harrisburg central appointment location that the truck I was to use would not be available until 300pm but told I would be called if one came in earlier on 6/25.when I arrive the clerk told me there were 2 trucks there in the morning. When looking into my orders and trying to locate the final bill for a particular one, I see only the receipt for the initial bill and not the final one upon return of equipment. Please ensure that both the initial as well as the final bills are viewable. Gracias.Naweed B.

The location was unstaffed for about 20 mins, while I and other customers waited for someone to assist us with rental truck returns, purchases in store, and other services. When the manager/owner arrived we were all rather impatient and he was understandable overwhelmed. He attended to all of us quickly and provided one-on-one attention to our concerns.Tashia J.

You could not make customers drive 25 miles for pick up when their reservation site is 3 miles away.MARRY K.
It was very difficult to return the truck during non staffed hours. Returned it at 1130 at night and it wouldn't allow me to do from my phone. Even with my location turned on it wouldn't recognize my location and I could not complete the return. Thankfully someone I was with I was able to forward the information. We were told we would also receive an email confirmation that the vehicle was returned and a final receipt and I still have not received that. I do website & social media & event planning utilizing a lot of technology. I realize this location is going 24 hours with people doing it on their own - it was not a pleasant experience to do on my own and when I called the 800 number for help it was going to be a 20+ minute waitJessica M.
Was told when we booked with customer service we get 89 free miles, but when we picked the truck up. We were told no that's only for a one way trip. Your staff need to have the correct information across the board. This put your staff member at the location in a bad situation thay could've been prevented had the customer service rep provided the correct information !Diane R.

This Uhaul at 5621 ALLENTOWN BLVD, HARRISBURG, PA exceed my expectations. The manager was on it. She was busy, but still was able to take care of the provided services; when I got there and when I returned. Store had many products inside and it was clean. Transactions were easy. It was a last minute decision to rent a u-haul on a holiday weekend and I was completely satisfied with the service i received. This is the second time I have used this location in a month and was extremely pleased with the personnel and service that I received. I have used U-Haul many, many times. I rented a van this time and the smell in the vehicle was horrible. Upon return I was told it should not have been in service. If I wasn't in a time crunch and wasn't sure if the smell would dissipate with opening the windows, I would have asked for another vehicle. Worst U-Haul experience to date.Laurie M.

At pickup, was told to go to a different location for appliance dolly after lots of calling around d by staff at location. But then, they found one randomly at location so that worked out I guess. Running lights (tail lights) did not work to back of truck at all. Drove some at night, and those lights were off. Clearance and headlights, brake lights worked. Staff was helpful and friendly. Brianna was very helpful when I was picking boxes earlier that morning.Jay R.

The pick-up location was great and the staff were very accommodating and helpful; however, this wasn't the pick-up location I selected when I made my online reservation. The location was moved (less than 12 hours after booking) to a location nearly 10 miles away from the location I originally booked. That was a little frustrating because the cost is per mile. This added close to 20% to the overall rental cost as a result. This is also the second or third time my pick-up location was altered after making a reservation. With the exception of the reservation process not being reliable, I would highly recommend U-Haul! Your staff have been friendly and the equipment has been in good condition and dependable. Anything you can do to improve the reservation process and accuracy of the pick-up location would be incredibly helpful.CHRISTOPHER B.

I was very disappointed in the dimensions of unit 1261. Due to an 2' x 1' outcropping on back wall along with wooden crossbeams along the top. It is at best 4' x 5' x ~6.5'. This is not a dispute; rather, an observation about misinformation in the unit description. I expect a call from representative to correct this issue. The experience with the storage unit was excellent. The move out experience on your website was horrible. Every time I got done with the process, the final screen would say my session had expired. I tried using the chat and after the tech read my problem, she disconnected the chat. I verified I was still online so internet was not the issue.
