At pickup, was told to go to a different location for appliance dolly after lots of calling around d by staff at location. But then, they found one randomly at location so that worked out I guess. Running lights (tail lights) did not work to back of truck at all. Drove some at night, and those lights were off. Clearance and headlights, brake lights worked. Staff was helpful and friendly. Brianna was very helpful when I was picking boxes earlier that morning.Jay R.

Uhaul was able to rent me the truck I reserved, and there was no adequate alternative provided either. Vehicle availability is obviously an issue at this location.Jeffrey H.
The pick-up location was great and the staff were very accommodating and helpful; however, this wasn't the pick-up location I selected when I made my online reservation. The location was moved (less than 12 hours after booking) to a location nearly 10 miles away from the location I originally booked. That was a little frustrating because the cost is per mile. This added close to 20% to the overall rental cost as a result. This is also the second or third time my pick-up location was altered after making a reservation. With the exception of the reservation process not being reliable, I would highly recommend U-Haul! Your staff have been friendly and the equipment has been in good condition and dependable. Anything you can do to improve the reservation process and accuracy of the pick-up location would be incredibly helpful.CHRISTOPHER B.

The first Van had a really bad odor like somebody had been transporting pigs really bad. Second van was better. The employee said they tried to get the smell out of it but had no success. The previous renter should have been charged for that. Other than that everything was good.John R.

Truck was not available at our original pick up location and our reservation had to be moved, but no one let us know the truck was not available until we called at the pickup location. Also, a 15' truck is too small to hold enough for two bedroom apartment, as advertised.Ethan K.

Make sure the units are ready to go when picked up. We had loose lug nuts and low tire pressures to fix before we could use. Wiring for one light was loose so went off and on during travel.Randall K.

The rental paperwork was incorrect. It showed my four day, one way rental to SC as a return to Harrisburgh, PA in one day. My address is in Harrisburgh, PA but the paperwork showed my address in North Myrtle Beach, SC. I do own a home in NMB, SC but I gave the store my address in Harrisburgh which is my full time residence. This was a concern as I had to drive through 5 states with an incorrect contract. Overall it was a fine location. It was a busy location on a saturday morning-- and they just handed us the keys and directed us to a part of the parking lot that didnt have the truck... so we were wandering around their parking lot trying to find our vehicle for awhile as it was in the opposite direction that they indicated. Would've been nicer if they walked you to the vehicle.Michael A.

When I picked up the vehicle there was a woman working that was super nice and very friendly! However, when I returned the vehicle there were two employees that were the opposite. They did not acknowledge me when I walked into the store and waited for their help in returning the vehicle - just looked at me once and continued talking for several minutes with no sense of urgency. When one finally did come over to the counter to help me, I handed him the keys and let him know I was returning a vehicle. He said â€œokayâ€ and nothing else. I asked if he needed anything else from me and he said â€œdon't you want to know your totalâ€ and I said yes, I'm sorry, I am not sure how this process works. He then asked me to follow him out the the vehicle, which I did, after his inspection of the vehicle he just stated â€œyour total is xxxâ€. Unsure of what to do/say next, I asked if he needed my form of payment again or if he still had it on file. After asking he said that they would just charge the card I had on file and proceeded to turn away from me. I thanked him and told him to have a nice day - complete silence from him. Won't be using this location ever again.Mallory T.

The location isn't the best. It can be a little challenging getting out of there at times. Not much can be changed to improve that. The one way in helps when used properly, but so far every time I enter there, someone is trying to use it as an exit! Remote checkin didn't work. Truck was not available at spot shown on app. In fact that truck was not there at all. I had to go inside to get checked out after wasting time looking for truck. Truck was a bit beat. Hard to start. Drove fine. Drop off no one came out despite sign to stay with vehicle and someone would be out. I was very disappointed in the dimensions of unit 1261. Due to an 2' x 1' outcropping on back wall along with wooden crossbeams along the top. It is at best 4' x 5' x ~6.5'. This is not a dispute; rather, an observation about misinformation in the unit description. I expect a call from representative to correct this issue. The experience with the storage unit was excellent. The move out experience on your website was horrible. Every time I got done with the process, the final screen would say my session had expired. I tried using the chat and after the tech read my problem, she disconnected the chat. I verified I was still online so internet was not the issue.
