Adhir M.Could use more people on the front desks for checking in, I pre-booked on line and had a printed copy with me for my reservation, but had to wait so long for someone to wait on me .The frustrating part was that there was only one person being served ahead of me. This is very consistent to my experience at this location in the past and i have used this location several times. The people are friendly and the equipment is always in good condition, but if you are on a tight schedule and expecting to be in and out quickly its not going to happen here. I have mentioned this in previous surveys , but still the same.
James S.Trailer latch was corroded and fell off during use forcing me to return the trailer earlier than planned. It would have been nice if I was offered a replacement or partial refund. That said, personnel were very efficient, courteous and quick to address my issues.
Christopher D.They never let me know there was an access code or card. Everytime i went there the alarm would sound. I was laod off and was 2 months behind. I was told my stuff was going to auction. I made my payment and went to check on my locker and my lock was cut off. They gave me a new pne, with no apology. And that lock didnt work. . Had to be cut off. Went to move my stuff and couldn't fi ish bc of the card they gave sid not work. Left with stuff outside. Finally moved my stuff next day and was forced to leave my belonging outside bc of alarm.
Barry m. | Overall ExperienceThis location is drastically understaffed, be prepared for a long wait, especially during the busy hours. This is not the first time I have rented here and I do so only because of the convenient location. I called to see if there were trailers available and was placed on hold. I ended up eating dinner and driving over to the location, all while still being on hold about 40 min., only hanging up when I was in line. After 20 min in line and arranging the rental, it took another 30 min for the lot attendee to assist with hooking up the trailer.

Ray L.When making a car rental, a poorly trained girl could not answer my simple questions regarding the price. It wasn't until she called the manager that I got all the answers I needed. At the same time, she was very unhappy that I was asking questions that her employees should know the answers. Regarding the return of the car, everything was fine, a very friendly guy checked everything you need and wished you well.
mykola K.We had a very problematic experience with uHaul. Booked online two weeks before and were sent to a location that didn't have our 15 foot truck (or any trucks over a cargo van size), we were directed to this location and at first were offered a 26 foot truck that wouldn't have fit on our driveway. The manager intervened and helped us to sort it out, but we wasted hours trying to deal with it. Because we didn't receive a call we were informed in our booking that if we weren't contacted up by 5 pm the day before we could assume arrangements were as we booked them. We did the online check in. And then when we went to the uHaul we were directed to there was no truck, and we had to go elsewhere, etc. We were told the problem was that your systems were down everywhere the day before but no one communicated with us. In the end the manager at this location helped us but your online booking process was not great. in the future we will just go in person to book, or look at another company.

Julia H.I had reserved the small hand cart, they had none when I arrived on time so I was offered the large appliance hand cart as an alternative, accepted it but not happy as it is big and cumbersome. I had made the assumption that I was receiving it at the lower mall hand cart price so I didn't fully read the invoice until I got home to find out I was charged the higher price. Not good customer service as I had done everything I was suppose to.

Jennifer R.I went three times to finish installed hitch. On 2nd. May , not all parts came.On 8th May No engineer have time to install. On 10th May let me come at 2pm, but after 3:30 start to install the hitch. So why donot to finish installation work in once time?

Marius L.I tried to call in to the office in the morning and was on hold for close to an hour. Was never answered. I had questions. In the end I booked a truck online. When I went to pick it up, again it was slow. Not enough staff. Same with the drop off. I had to change payment card and it took 1//2 hour to get to the counter.

John K. | Overall ExperienceWe had reserved a trailer at 8 am and had paid for it. Upon arrival there was one clerk working and three people waiting. We waited over 30 minutes for less than 5 minutes to check in. I would suggest a different process for checking in for those with reservations - it took a long time for all the options to be explained to those without reservations. The checking back in was great - very easy just the initial check in was very poor.
Brian D.My only comment is the sales staff maybe having recommending people download the app because you can manage everything from it including early return. Easily overlooked however on very busy days as it was the day I picked up the rental. Before returning the rental at 5:30am. I did comb through the agreements and such that came with the rental looking for information on early returns but didn't find any info. I also don't even recall seeing anything about the app and its usage either, that I recall, on the website. Otherwise, overall happy with the service.

Antoinette C.It is an incredibly poor business practice to let people add things like dollies to a reservation when they are actually first come first serve. Why take the reservation for an item when it cannot be reserved? It makes customers plan on having the equipment and then have it taken away at the last minute. Ruined the experience with U-haul to find out the day of the move t try gat equipment we had reserved was unavailable.

Ron A.The self check-in is incredibly frustrating - one page button broke for five minutes and there was no way to proceed. Prompts are orderef ina frustrating way - why walk the full length of the lot to find the truck just to then be told you can now get your key and then walk back to the truck, it just wastes time on what is likely an incredibly busy day for most of your customers. It is also unclear how much information you need to provide before you arrive or even before you choose the self check-in option. Additionally, completing a pre-check-in form is misleading in that it communicates that there is no further check-in information required upon arrival. Add extra information pertaining to this or consolidate your pre self check-in surveys.
Sarah M.I went to the main location hoping to get a proper rental service. However, the workers there are incompetent! Everything is a mess, from the information on which trucks are available, to the fuel and mileage levels. The truck that was assigned to me was taken by another customer so they changed my truck. Thank God I checked the mileage on the website before leaving to realize that it's 100 miles above what the actual mileage on the truck. If I had left, I'm sure they were have made me pay. I would say avoid this, but the truth is there aren't any equivalent alternatives. Be prepared to wait if you do go there...
Michael S.Guys outside were great, super fast and friendly. A previous renter extended their rental through the call center so the location didn't know about it. As a result, my trailer wasn't available when I showed up. Please fix your system so this can't happen.

I never thought to bring a coat as I thought we would be able to wait inside. Was also finished an hour after the expected time. Staff were very friendly though!

No follow up! Poor service on that note; which is a rather important note. When something goes wrong, that's the time to truly show up for your customers. Someone needs to resolve this issue ASAP. We have about $4000 in damages.
hong w. | Overall ExperienceI booked online for a 10x10x10. I arrived at the facility and rented a truck the same day. I went and got items to be stored and brought them on site. Opening up the locker, I questioned if it was the right locker due to the small size. I went to the office and asked to make sure it was the right locker due to the size. The only comment was the system says it is a 10x10x10, so I can't help you. I asked the person at the desk to come and look, she said no. I asked her to talk to a manager and she asked Jen and she said no and wouldn't look at it either. I measured it with a tape measure and it is a maximum 9'4"x 9'6"x 7''9". This is false advertising and I wasn't going to get what I was paying for. I had a friend come with a trailer and we moved the items to Metro Self Storage, where the people were nice and friendly.

When I talk to the employee about moving the vehicle, he said that I didn't have to move it and it was up to me. He gave me the storage and the vehicle keys. The next day when I wanted to return the vehicle keys, there was a different person and said I had to move the vehicle at least 20 km and there was no mouth free. I was ready to pay for the vehicle and to use it today but she was very tough.I asked for solutions and I said I was flexible but she was not cooperative. At the end, I cancelled the order and I wasn't satisfied.

For example, asked for a receipt when checking out of my unit and they couldn't produce one and acted like I was truly inconveniencing them.
Andrew S. | Overall ExperienceEasy access, friendly staff. Huge problem with screws all over the place in the parking lot. One day after stopping in I had screws in 3/4 tires. Luckily only 1 punctured the tire. Many of these screws are come from the construction of the storage lockers themselves, though some come from careless customers. I'd highly recommend sweeping the lot with a magnetic sweeper after new units are constructed as the builders seem careless with fastening hardware.

Laurie M. | First ImpressionsEvery time that I have dealt with this Uhaul location, there are constant issues. I had reserved a storage unit in august, a 5x5x14 indoor unit. I get to uhaul and they say that all they have is 5x5x8 for the same price. They said the online registration is first come first served. So essentially they do not use the reservation system at all and it is pointless. End up having to pay the same for a significantly smaller space. When I did get in I tried to use my previous truck rental to get a free month. The lady at the desk said that there was an issue and that I would have to come in the next day to get help from the manager. Well lo and behold when I go in the next day, the same lady is able to help me. Big waste of time. Then turns out she didn't do the reservation correctly, because when I went in this week a little after a month later, my unit was locked with one of their locks. They weren't able to see who owned the unit, so they locked it and put it as a John Doe. (Auto pay was setup) The man that helped me was very kind and helpful, poor guy had to go in and fix all of the issues that were caused. This took about 10/15 minutes to resolve to just get back in. This isn't the first time I have had issues with this Uhaul, though I can guarantee once I can move my things this will be the last time I go to this center. Complete incompetence all the way through, and they do not even uphold Uhaul online reservations. Another note, was asked to move my car to the "customer parking" even though there were no signs to indicate. And their main door to the store side don't open all the way and I smoked my shoulder off door. Sad place, and unfortunately there aren't many other options that are similarly priced

My one critisim I notice is the carts, they should be hosed off the same as the trucks. Many people use these units, and with various coveid, now other illness being transmitted this is a big failing.I find Jen will listen to any concerns you have and address them. THankyou .
