Stephanie B.College parent who has been using this business for 3 years. We have rented a van twice per year and have a storage unit for three years on a year long basis. We have always been treated with respect and professionalism. However, this past month we had a overcharge discrepancy with regard to mileage driven/gas usage and charges associated with said services. Take pictures to prove your in/out mileage and tank, it is what saved us! Unfortunately, I left a small box (pocket sized) filled with cash in the vehicle (my bad)! But when I returned no more than 10 minutes later it could not be located. Management assured me none of her employees was responsible. Again, I left it so my bad-but really?!! Management reviewed surveillance cameras but did not see anything! I'm not sure what happened but I don't have my cash ($40+). I sure am disappointed.

Kim G.My wife and I didn't have a great experience. We didn't get all of the pertinent information from the employee that assisted us for this being our very first time utilizing your services. We were never told up front about the $20 after hours fee to return the truck, he was too busy trying to talk to the police about a woman who claimed some guy was supposed to be returning a truck that hadn't returned as they were supposed to. The gas hand wasn't on the half tank mark when we got it. (Pictures were taken to prove it.) The employee was notified of this and the actual correct mileage because what he wrote down was wrong prior to us leaving.
Brandon P.We arrived at the store for a 9AM reservation and the store was not open. A district manager had to be called because the general manager had not shown up to open the store and they had to send someone else in to open. The store was not open until 9:30 am putting us late getting to our next destination. We asked about a discount due to what happened and the person did not even try to assist us with that or try to find out. The equipment rental was fine but we were thrown off schedule due to store error.
Karen G.I specifically chose this location as it was a large facility and a true UHaul building, not some other type of business just renting trucks. I was shocked to find out that they only had 6 blankets and not the 36 I have requested. I was not allowed to contact them ahead of time either. This was the worst experience I have had in 6 years.
Daniel R.Pins on rear gate/ramp bent. Hand to use hammer to remove. Rest of the trailer was in good shape. Ended up not being able to use the trailer. The opening on the back was to small to allow the item I need to haul to fit in. So really did not use the trailer. Will look for other places to rent from with equipment more suitable for my requirements.
Forest S.My reservation to pick up my vehicle was the major problem. The one on my reservation had me come back an hour later than scheduled but it was close to home, so I didn't mind too much. When I went back, I was directed to UHaul 4 miles away. This messed up my schedule for an out of town errand & appointment. Then, they were short handed and waiting put me a total of nearly 2 hours late! I had to cancel my appointment and when I bought the truck back, I had to go thru the turn in process on my phone! I'm not a heck kind of person. Overall, I was very disappointed with this UHaul experience.

Shela B.U-Haul representative took my cash along with $100 deposit and told me the cash could be picked up upon drop off. After much hassle I was forced to accept the money being sent to my card in 3-5 business days. This location will say anything to take it. There will be no next time for me.

The workers seemed high or drunk, I had to ask them to repeat themselves several times because they were mumbling. Apparently they also did not set up auto pay for me when THEY STORED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, so my unit was locked and I had to pay a late fee the next month. There is always trash everywhere.

garry E.We ordered our Uhaul truck weeks in advance, we requested the 24/7 pickup online and had the location explain the process, we arrived at 730am to pick up and could not get access to the lock box because the truck was checked in late on the night before however no one called us to notify us. So, the employee shows at at 910am ( store opens at 9 ) and he did not have a key to open so he had to go home, we finally got the truck at 945am.

CARROLL S.I called ahead to let the staff know I would vacate. I then also notified them when I began vacating and when I finished (same day). They did not close out my rental for over a month, so I got continued billing and threats against my credit right at Christmas 2021. This became an ordeal to resolve. If you rent, then get it in writing that you are cleared. Then confirm it to corporate, and get them to send a conformation email. Don’t believe it when you are told it will be handled, and don’t trust that the local branch communicates with corporate, or vice versa.

This time I could not get the heat on in the truck which was extremely frustrating because it was 31 degrees outside . Also the truck driver door seemed to have been replaced poorly. The door would not close all the way and I was terrified it was going to fly open . I let the worker know when I dropped it off. I had to take the truck to use it because there were movers waiting at my house on me that I was paying by the hour. Therefore did not have time to go back in and get a different truck. This truck needs to be taken off the line .

Robert W. | Overall ExperienceThe building is nice. Can never reach anyone on the phone. When you get there in person you have to wait 20-30 minutes for someone to show up to the desk. Had ordered a smaller unit but when I arrived they told me it wasn't availble and that there was 4 always in the system for some reason. So i had to pay more for a bigger unit. Also then found out it wasn't 24 hour access UNLESS YOU PAY $10 extra a month for it. I've been moved out of there since the end of September and I am still receiving "payment past due" letters from them even though I told them I was moving out 2 weeks before my payment due date. The entry system is ridiculous. You have to go to one side of the door and swipe the card (usually more than once because it was always acting up) to log into the system then go to the other side of the door where you have to swipe your card again and input a code. Then the automatic sliding door will open. But god forbid you are in the process of going in and out at 7pm. The system relocks and you have to do the process over and over until it let's you back in. Hands down the worst storage facility I have used and it's not the people working there. It's the fact that it is a quasi corporate owned facility. That sunk millions of dollars into renovating the space and now the franchise is indebted to them to the point where corporate dictates their labor budget because they pay so much to "headquarters". I have never seen more than 1 person on duty at a time. With that being said; it being such a large facility and depending on what is going on that day, it is almost impossible to get help at the desk or on the phones. I literally called everyday for 3 or 4 hours for at least 3 weeks and never got someone at the place. Not even corporate answered the phones. A month or so after I moved in my online username and password stopped working, and I couldnt recieve the 'reset password' emails. The whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth and will be very cautious in the future looking and using uhaul owned facilities.

We got there by 6:43pm and the girl was not there 100%. She was more concerned about getting off work. The card didn’t work 3 times. The storage Unit was not reserved like they said it would be. Had I not went up to her in her car she would have driven off without making sure the customers need was tended to. The building wouldn’t allow us in after authorizing three separate cards. Not sure if she was incompetent or if her manager should be more aware that more training should be done before they leave her alone to tend to customers. Now I get the bill and they charged me for an extra day??? Not at all happy. We had to now use three separate units because our original supposed reservation was not reserved. Why can’t all uhaul / storage places talk openly and know what the right had is telling the left hand? There was no communication whatsoever! Talk about someone putting all their care into a companies hands and now I feel like we made a huge mistake because everything seemed like nobody at uhaul cared!! You added stress to my life and I’m so angry about it!

I had to call around to find out where it was. When I went to pick the truck up, there was a system issue, and the lady could not release it. It took hours to get this resolved!! The people in greenwood were much more efficient!

I was not given the storage unit I was promised when I rented the truck and registered for the storage unit. While all the employees with whom I had contact were as helpful as possible, the check in process took well over an hour since only 1 employee was there to handle multiple customers.
