I called ahead to let the staff know I would vacate. I then also notified them when I began vacating and when I finished (same day). They did not close out my rental for over a month, so I got continued billing and threats against my credit right at Christmas 2021. This became an ordeal to resolve. If you rent, then get it in writing that you are cleared. Then confirm it to corporate, and get them to send a conformation email. Don’t believe it when you are told it will be handled, and don’t trust that the local branch communicates with corporate, or vice versa.Dale H. | Overall Experience

I have rented from uhaul several times in the last year , same location, been extremely happy. This time I could not get the heat on in the truck which was extremely frustrating because it was 31 degrees outside . Also the truck driver door seemed to have been replaced poorly. The door would not close all the way and I was terrified it was going to fly open . I let the worker know when I dropped it off. I had to take the truck to use it because there were movers waiting at my house on me that I was paying by the hour. Therefore did not have time to go back in and get a different truck. The building is nice. Can never reach anyone on the phone. When you get there in person you have to wait 20-30 minutes for someone to show up to the desk. Had ordered a smaller unit but when I arrived they told me it wasn't availble and that there was 4 always in the system for some reason. So i had to pay more for a bigger unit. Also then found out it wasn't 24 hour access UNLESS YOU PAY $10 extra a month for it. I've been moved out of there since the end of September and I am still receiving "payment past due" letters from them even though I told them I was moving out 2 weeks before my payment due date. The entry system is ridiculous. You have to go to one side of the door and swipe the card (usually more than once because it was always acting up) to log into the system then go to the other side of the door where you have to swipe your card again and input a code. Then the automatic sliding door will open. But god forbid you are in the process of going in and out at 7pm. The system relocks and you have to do the process over and over until it let's you back in. Hands down the worst storage facility I have used and it's not the people working there. It's the fact that it is a quasi corporate owned facility. That sunk millions of dollars into renovating the space and now the franchise is indebted to them to the point where corporate dictates their labor budget because they pay so much to "headquarters". I have never seen more than 1 person on duty at a time. With that being said; it being such a large facility and depending on what is going on that day, it is almost impossible to get help at the desk or on the phones. I literally called everyday for 3 or 4 hours for at least 3 weeks and never got someone at the place. Not even corporate answered the phones. A month or so after I moved in my online username and password stopped working, and I couldnt recieve the 'reset password' emails. The whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth and will be very cautious in the future looking and using uhaul owned facilities.Dylan P. | Overall Experience

Asked for 15 ft truck; was given 20 ft. Was promised 15 ft if one was returned by pickup date. When 20 ft was picked up a 15 ft was on site. When asked, was told it was reserved? Cab smelled like an ash tray. Vehicle unsafe for nighttime driving - headlights would only light up road approximately 25 ft ahead of truck on low beam. High beams were just as bad. Extremely unsafe! Advised drop off site owner of this safety condition. Very unhappy with this particular rental. Fortunately should never have a need to rent a truck again in this geographic location.Robert M.

Although the attendant was young and probably new at his job function at the counter. More emphasis must be incorporated to inform moving customers to add needed handtrucks with vehicles , to assist with moves. This will make it less likely for a customer to be forced to return to the rental office to pick one up .!! Other than that . I rate your office at 95% â€¦.PERCY G.

Watch more closely when a customer is in the drop off zone. The sign says to stop there, stay in the vehicle and wait for an employee. Nope. After sitting there for 5 minutes, I went into the office. Then, instead of taking the trailer off there, I had to take it over to the trailer location where, in the rain, they took it off my car. Why do you have a covered drop off location if you don't use it?DAVID R.
Excellent service by the same man each time we interacted: on the phone, in person picking up the truck, and in person again picking up the car transport. The text with a link to check the equipment threw me off a little, if the person giving the keys could mention it, that would be great. We missed an issue on the car transport. My own fault of course! We were consumed by getting the car tied down and hitting the road, I should have seen it. But my suggestion is just a reminder to look for the text and check the equipment would be great. Very convenient location.CHRISTA H.

I have moved over 25 (yes, 25 times) times and have uhaul for most of these. This latest reservation guaranteed that I would use you and refer you to anyone wanting to use any of your services. The truck was great, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWESOME! Chris and your whole team at this branch went above and beyond to help my family. When I was worried about the movers, Chris was certain they were very good and he was roght there as well. You know, I work in Customer service and I can tell you, Customers can be very difficult. Rental was returned hours prior to the time due, but not logged returned by staff until the end of the day so I was billed for an additional day of rental. The phone number is not a direct number for this location so I had to make multiple calls to Uhaul with 20+ minute wait times to resolve the overcharge. Watch out for this scam.JAMES CLEMENT W.

The manager Chris, and his employee Tom were amazing. We initially rented a trailer from Tom but found that my hitch was to low to the ground to safely tow it. My car has a U shaped bar which i've never seen on any other car before which makes the hitch ball much lower than average. Chris personally came out and went above and beyond recommended a solution which would have worked, and also gave us the option to upgrade to a truck, which we decided to go with. They gave us a full refund for the trailer and quickly served us the paper work for the truck. They provided the service I needed on time, in full, with flawless execution! When it comes to describing the best, these hero's can only be described as exceeded all expectations. I will highly recommend this location to all my friends and family for all their moving needs.Thomas R.

My problem was you guys said you will hook up the trailer to haul a car so you guys did and when I was loading up the car the trailer came off the truck n hit my tail gate I was so I'm happy bc it scrape my tail gate hope you guys can do something about that I just thank god it didn't come off on way to where I was going you guys put it on to be safe and make sure it's on there so it is your responsibility it is n it should be to to fix my truckGABRIEL B.

We called 1-800-uhaul before hand and the man said he put in that in writing that if we were there by seven we wouldn’t be considered late. We got there by 6:43pm and the girl was not there 100%. She was more concerned about getting off work. The card didn’t work 3 times. The storage Unit was not reserved like they said it would be. Had I not went up to her in her car she would have driven off without making sure the customers need was tended to. The building wouldn’t allow us in after authorizing three separate cards. Not sure if she was incompetent or if her manager should be more aware that more training should be done before they leave her alone to tend to customers. Now I get the bill and they charged me for an extra day??? Not at all happy. We had to now use three separate units because our original supposed reservation was not reserved. Why can’t all uhaul / storage places talk openly and know what the right had is telling the left hand? There was no communication whatsoever! Talk about someone putting all their care into a companies hands and now I feel like we made a huge mistake because everything seemed like nobody at uhaul cared!! I made a reservation 3 weeks early. No one called to tell me that my truck was NOT at Sentry storage where I made the reservation. I had to call around to find out where it was. When I went to pick the truck up, there was a system issue, and the lady could not release it. It took hours to get this resolved!! Obviously the facility is being operated without proper permits. I was not given the storage unit I was promised when I rented the truck and registered for the storage unit. Both times I went to facility, There was only one person running the whole show! I must say , both people were very helpful even though it was busy. So far, so good. I found it hard to get on website, it kept timing out on me. Very frustrating.
