Purchase a step stool. I had trouble getting into the truck as I am elderly. A step stool would have helped me get in a lot easier. Nice staff

The 20' truck we were rented used $63 in gas and we traveled just over a hundred miles. The left rear brakes are dragging. The wheels are covered in brake dust. The steering is so loose that I'm surprised I wasn't pulled over and given a field sobriety test! One would think the maintenance of vehicles that make a company tons of profit would be well taken care of.

When we got there the trailer hadn't been cleaned. In addition the lights didn't work on the trailer. We went to another uhaul location but when we got there our lights on our car didn't work. (The fuse on our car was blown!). We ended up going back to Main St. and renting a cargo van which ended up costing us almost 4x the price of renting the trailer. However, the staff at this location were great! For that reason I would give them another chance!

During mobile pick up lockbox didn't work to access key. Had to go back to store the next morning for rental. Took pics of milage and gas gage before and after returning rental. Good thing because I was charged for gas on invoice and should not have been. Overall a bad experience, inconvenienced and no apologies from leadership that headed the location.

I WAS CHARGED $25.00 FOR EMPTY WATER BOTTLES IN FRONT OF TRUCK. (YES WATER BOTTLES- NOT LIKE IT WAS AN ACTUAL DIRTY MESS) ALSO CHARGED $42.00 FOR GAS + $30.00 FUEL CHARGE. THE TRUCK WAS GAS GAUGE WAS BELOW 1/4 OF A TANK ON PICK UP AND RETURNED AT 1/8. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS TO CHARGE !!!! I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. PRIVATE MOVING COMPANY WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER OVERALL. I WILL EMAIL THE 3,000 PEOPLE AT THE HOSPITAL I WORK AT AND WARN THEM ABOUT THIS ALSO. SPOKE WITH NORMAN-GM. HE STATED "HEY I DON'T MAKE THE RULES. THATS WHAT YOU SIGNED IN YOUR CONTRACT" HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'M SURE THIS LOCATION IS VERY PROFITABLE! ABSURD CHARGES !!! THOUGHT HE MIGHT AT LEAST WAVE SOME OF THE CHARGES JUST TO BE FAIR. BUT HE WAS VERY RUDE !

Hitch install appointment was for 11. I arrived 10minutes early and was told they were running "a little behind" . After giving them an 45 minutes i was told it would be just a couple more minutes then my vehicle would be the next one in. After another hour I checked and my vehicle hadn't been moved and they had a different car in! That's when I went back in and told them I was all done, it was now 12:45 an hour and forty five minutes past my appointment and still my vehicle habnt been touched. Terribly run facility.. On the bright side the girls at the counter are very nice and understanding.

The queensbury location was ok but overall my experience was awful. My original location I picked for pick up never put the keys in the truck so I then bad to drive 30 mins away to the queensbury location and then I had to bring the truck back to this location which was WAY out of my way. I was unable to complete the full move because of this incident. And all I was told was I would get 50 dollars off which barely covers the gas I had to put into the truck because I had to drive so far out of my way to bring the truck back. Not happy about this whole experience. First and probably last time I will be using uhaul.

Norm Rivers Jr took my reservation. Everything was ready when they opened. Brianna Rivera got us situated with everything we needed (hand truck and dolly). Norm was there to check us in when we arrived back about 10 hours later. I've been renting from this location for over 25 years. Always very professional and do their best to accommodate us when we all know how stressful moving can be. Thanks again for your professionalism and service.

From start to finish, this was a GREAT experience. I was nervous about moving, and driving the truck myself. Briana was amazing and answered my questions patiently (even the one where the answer was literally right in front of me)! By the time I left, I felt much more comfortable. The GM did my return check in and was great as well. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but I would not hesitate to go back to 112 Main Street if I need a UHaul for any reason!! Thank you so much!!!

The dolly and moving blanket bag take up too much room in the truck and caused us to use other vehicles. Make those items be requested as they take up valuable space that I paid for.

The phone system!! There was an issue with the install at first. They left a voicemail. When I called back, there wasn't a way to reach a human. Had to leave and reschedule. But the guy that eventually installed the hitch did good quick work.

Both locations were excellent. Your website and phone service were so terrible that, if given other options, I would have gone elsewhere. My return location was not listed as available on your site, even when I spoke to a representative. Utterly terrible phone system!

Horrible customer service and relations. I was a week late consistently due to economy and financial struggles unfortunately but not once was I given a break, everytime I was hit with unreasonable late fees and borderline threats to lose my stuff, a lien notice multiple times, I wasnt even a month late. Staff wasnt approachable in office, rude and eating chips or takeout getting crumbs all over the counter. Seems like a business thats going underwater and the customers feel it, like kmart or blockbuster on their last leg vibes. Never again, and ill be telling people to rent storage local, never uhaul. And the policy that you have to pay in full or not at all is ridiculous. I came in once to make a partial payment to catch up and I was denied, like I owed money to a las vegas loan shark or something, payment in full or leave. What a joke

I was a renter at this facility for a long time. Glen then Norm we’re the managers during that time. I’ve alway felt that my storage at UHaul was my warehouse and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. No negs. All great to excellent. It was time for me to move closer to where I live.

Don’t take #4 too generally. Most staff over the years have been very helpful. However during my close out, I did not have as positive experience. I was asked to sweep the unit and was directed to where I could get a broom. After going back to my unit, sweeping and returning to office, I advised that there was no trash cans anywhere near my unit. I was told that I could have taken a dustpan as well as broom, but that would not be helpful without someplace to empty it. I suggested that if expectations are for unit to be cleaned, more convenient tools should be provided. Note, my unit is an interior one and while outdoor units could be just swept out and never be noticed, that’s not true for interior ones. This suggestion was not taken in a.receptive manner.

Wonderful Understanding people! Norm the owner/manager went above and beyond to help me out! I ended up getting covid twice in 3 months and couldn’t make arrangements to get my things out until I was out of Quarantine, he went beyond Great customer service to help me out! I definitely recommend this U-Haul for all your storage and moving needs! They are incredibly understanding and empathetic with there customers Real life problems and situations they will work with you! Over all An excellent Business man and an even better person! A wonderful Business!

Uhaul did not close out my account after an inspection on February 26th. Uhaul proceeded to charge card on file. I made a phone call to management who acknowledged the mistake and promised refund to card within five business days. Amex dud not refund and charged again for April directly to Amex. I called Norm who said he would take it up with Albany and return call. No call. I have contacted moving made easy which will provide evidence of February 25th move out. American Express will deal with this ultimately. Never again uhaul.

This facilty and Mr. Norman Rivers are superb!!! Norman assisted me when my mom passed 4-years ago. The unit was safe, clean and heated. The staff were pleasant every time I was at the facility: professional, timely, considerate, and knowledgeable. Norman, again, promptlly assisted me when I arrived yesterday to complete unload ing the unit and rented a UHAUL for the goods to come to Buffalo. Thank you for a fine experience in the storage unit 331 and in renting trucks from the facility.

I rented a climate controlled unit expecting just that. However, a sign inside the building says the temperature will not go below 45F. There is no air conditioning and the thermometer next to the sign was reading 85F. Clearly climate controlled means not freezing but no concern about heat and humidity

I got a brand new truck with 200 miles on it. The car dolly worked great when strapped down correctly. I even got a free month of storage for traveling one way. Low speeds are the key to towing a car.
