The truck moved very slow and it had over 140,000 time for a new truck. Man at counter was nice even though they charged me 170 dollars for a 90 dollar invoice

The facility garte entry remote hadnt work for me at all. Always had to put in pin number. Have moved to a newer and better maintained UHaul facility. My items were secured with my own personnel locks, but was forced to purchase new locks that were specific type that this facility said were a requirement by uhaul. The security gate was not always closed and several times had malfunctions diluting my 3 plus years with them.

Norman sold us an adapter kit and , in between serving other customers, helped me install it. He saved our trip! 6 stars for this location Thanks Again

WILFREDO DHorrible experience. First I was called the night before and asked if I would like to take a trailer to the location I was headed towards. This was a phone call asking if I'd like to do UHaul a favor. Reluctantly I said yes. I switched my whole schedule around only to receive a text from UHaul that morning that "they have no trailers so nevermind" .... I was disgusted because I changed my whole itinerary around for nothing. No compensation was offered either. Secondly, when I picked up the vehicle the gas AND miles were clocked in wrong and I had to point it out to the guy. He said he'd "change it"; only to find out the day after it was returned that I was wrongly charged for a half tank of gas and extra mileage. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again. Sloppy and inconsiderate is the only way to describe this company.

PHILLIP SWhen I Called U haul I got a customer service person on the phone and they set up everything for me for pick up in Queensbury. Very easy to set up an appointment and return.
John DWorst experience of my life as a returning customer I will never rent from uhaul again. I Reserved a van to use for 2 days arrived 15 min earlier than my time and was told I'm on e alert and I can't rent the vehicle I reserved. The employees told me I had to call customer service and figure out why. I get on the phone wait 30 min for a person and they still won't tell me why I am on e alert and they want to talk to the facility on MY PHONE. I hand the "owner" my cell phone and he is told my contact person who they asked me for a name a number when I arrived to verify I'm a real person is the one who is flagged and because of my association with this past customer I'm not allowed to rent. After 2 hrs of waiting to be approved and declining the insurance they offer the 10 times they tried to run my card the owner charged my card with the insurance I did not want and would not refund me I will be contacting corporate and finding everywhere I can review this company and this facility and share how horrible the customer service is and how ridiculous the policies are. Everyone I know will be told never to rent from uhaul!

NORMAN ANorm was a pleasure to work with. He knew his job well, was knowledgeable about the vehicle and supplies, and was very graceful about my given position. I would definitely recommend him and his location.
CURTIS KThis was our first rental from U-Haul. The girls were terrific. They made the process so easy and we were on our way in less than 10 minutes. When we got back we were out of their truck and in our car in 2 minutes and heading home. Thank you for the easy peasy process.
ROBERT BEverything went smoothly even after my pick up time was delayed. The man who helped me, Norm? was extremely polite and apologetic and was able to get another vehicle to make up for the first delay I will definitely use UHaul again without any qualms. Connie Quinlan

WILLIAM RThe truck we reserved was not available and we were not able to pick up the truck until the following day. Make sure you before you reserve the truck that you have a back up plan, we did not and it cost us an entire day.
MARTHA SThe place is easy to get in and out of. There were no other customers there and I did most of the pre-pickup stuff online so the pickup was easy and fairly quick. The trailer i rented has (or was supposed to have) brakes, and they didn't work. I couldn't tell they weren't working until I had a car loaded. I've rented these car carriers before and could definately tell that the brakes were not working in this one!
MARK AMislead about insurance!!!! Willing to pay and have total security. I was ready to rent again. Never with out insurance.
THEODORE DThe owner was a regular down to earth guy. He wouldn't let my kid ride in the back of the van, but he explained the dangers, and we went.

MARY LI could not check in via the app so I was there longer than expected. Also, I paid for 100 miles upfront and only drove 97 miles but I did not get a refund for the three unused miles. I would appreciate if I could be refunded for those.

Wayne CI had some trouble scheduling my appointment. I made an appointment online but received a phone call from the manager a couple of hours before the appointment to say that he did not have anyone available to install the hitch. Unfortunately, the appointments listed online do not represent what is actually available at the facility. He then rescheduled me for an appointment about a week later. When I showed up for that, the same manager told me that the hitch installation person was on vacation. So two appointments were canceled with either little or no notice to me. I was finally able to get the hitch installed about a month after the original appointment, and they did take $50 off after i requested a discount for the inconvenience. However, I would not say that UHaul is very well coordinated or efficient.

I was a week late consistently due to economy and financial struggles unfortunately but not once was I given a break, everytime I was hit with unreasonable late fees and borderline threats to lose my stuff, a lien notice multiple times, I wasnt even a month late. Staff wasnt approachable in office, rude and eating chips or takeout getting crumbs all over the counter. Seems like a business thats going underwater and the customers feel it, like kmart or blockbuster on their last leg vibes. Never again, and ill be telling people to rent storage local, never uhaul. And the policy that you have to pay in full or not at all is ridiculous. I came in once to make a partial payment to catch up and I was denied, like I owed money to a las vegas loan shark or something, payment in full or leave. What a joke

lowell e | First ImpressionsDon't take #4 too generally. Most staff over the years have been very helpful. However during my close out, I did not have as positive experience. I was asked to sweep the unit and was directed to where I could get a broom. After going back to my unit, sweeping and returning to office, I advised that there was no trash cans anywhere near my unit. I was told that I could have taken a dustpan as well as broom, but that would not be helpful without someplace to empty it. I suggested that if expectations are for unit to be cleaned, more convenient tools should be provided. Note, my unit is an interior one and while outdoor units could be just swept out and never be noticed, that's not true for interior ones. This suggestion was not taken in a.receptive manner.

I made a phone call to management who acknowledged the mistake and promised refund to card within five business days. Amex dud not refund and charged again for April directly to Amex. I called Norm who said he would take it up with Albany and return call. No call. I have contacted moving made easy which will provide evidence of February 25th move out. American Express will deal with this ultimately. Never again uhaul.

The staff were pleasant every time I was at the facility: professional, timely, considerate, and knowledgeable. Norman, again, promptlly assisted me when I arrived yesterday to complete unload ing the unit and rented a UHAUL for the goods to come to Buffalo. Thank you for a fine experience in the storage unit 331 and in renting trucks from the facility.

There is no air conditioning and the thermometer next to the sign was reading 85F. Clearly climate controlled means not freezing but no concern about heat and humidity
