Considering this is my facility, I wouldn't consider renting elsewhere but It was nice to be on the other end as a customer to experience my own employees at work. I was given proper explanation about my rental terms and agreements , all important information and tools for a smoothe rental were highlighted on my contract at time of dispatch. I found it very helpful that my employee pointed out the fuel level and also the gauge that indicates how many gallons it takes to bring the fuel to the proper level before returning. The truck was clean and I had no issues during my time of renting. The drop off was easy , following directions is truly the key . Will rent here again .Kazandra B.
The staff was always helpful here but the only complaint I have is that the second elevator was out of service for the entire summer...so that made my experience less favorable. This review really should be for the Natick location which gave me horrible service and will be the reason I never use your company again. I will also tell everyone I know to use an alternative company instead of your company. (I already looked up a list of your competitors). Your reservation system sucks, period. Full stop. I originally had a truck reserved for 2 days from the morning of 8/31 to late evening on 9/1 but then they call and force me to reduce it to a 24 hour rental because "it's the busiest day of the year". I'll be frank, I don't care. I need a truck, you're in the business of renting trucks. Figure it out. It's not like the "busiest day" crept up on you, it's the same day every year. It's just because you're being cheap and don't want to allocate enough resources and trucks to ensure that you have the capacity to serve customers. On top of that they cancelled my truck without calling first 10 minutes before I arrived because I had to go to a doctor appointment the morning of the 31st to check on my broken foot, which made me a little late to pick it up. Then little punks at the Natick location gave me a bunch of attitude when I was upset that they had given away my truck minutes before and because no one called or inform me that they were gong to cancel my reservation. They just did and said "too bad". I had to call customer service and drive to another location (the Framingham one) get a 26' truck. which was way more than what I had. The woman helping me at the Framingham location was nice enough, and she did a good job, but I was already really annoyed and the damage had been done by the whole experience leading up to it.Ian C.

Horrible service. Extra charges that didn't coincide with services we used. The only person working there had no idea what he was doing and could not understand me at all. At the end of the day it wasn't worth trying to fight back and forth over $100 or so they charged me extra. Will never use again and would recommend any one else to not use eitherChristopher W.

The staff was an absolute professional, with great attention to detail and my needs and concerns throughout the process. I couldn't be more happy with the attendance they have done for me. I went after business hours to pick up the rental truck. When I was doing the process on my smartphone, it prompted me to get the key for the truck inside even tho I was able to choose after hour pick up. When I approached the door a women came out and rudely said they were closed. I explained my phone told me to get the key inside for the truck and she said " what truck!?" I said.. The rental truck.. Then she said " ok what's the truck number?!" I told her what my phone said.. And she shut the door, then came back and asked for the truck # a 2nd time.. It was so unnecessary for her attitude when I was just trying to access the truck I was renting and get the key for it. Then after I returned the vehicle, I got a phone call and the lady told me she didn't have the truck in the lot and my key wasn't returned. I told her to check again and the cameras because I was definitely there after the 24hour time rental I chose. I put the key inside the drop box where its located .. Not sure what was going on there but that was my first and Last time I'll rent from that U haul location.Danielle D.

Store was completely unprepared for the line of people waiting to pick up vehicles for the labor day weekend move in. It took 30 minutes for 2 people to be checked in since there was only one employee checking people in and a new younger employee being trained on the spot. I had a 9am reservation and we arrived at 845 and did not get keys until 930. I paid for moving equipment too and these were unavailable. These are still on my bill and the employee was unable to remove these charges when I brought the van back. Overall, very poor experience although the van worked well and was clean.Samuel A.
This location was helpful, unfortunately I was supposed to pick up the truck at another location. My son and I had to drive over an hour and a half to pick up the rental and then drive the same distance back separately. They were supposed to confirm on Saturday but didn't call until Sunday to let me know they couldn't get the truck at my location. You have unacceptable customer service. I was charged for fees I didn't incur and was charged a damage fee I didn't do. I would have explained all this if the attendant has physically checked me out when I returned the vehicle but they couldn't be bothered with coming outside. When I called back to complain about the erroneous charges they were rude and unhelpful. You have lost a UHAUL customer and I'll be sure to tell my friends and family.Dan C.

Big issue was the pick up process - it was a mess. The pick up location changed 3 times in 2 weeks, then my reservation was cancelled 2 days before my pick up even though I confirmed the reservation the day before. Turns out while I was away, I got a text from UHaul that was not identified and I thought it was spam so I did not respond. And a phone call did not leave a voice mail. UHaul considers this "Multiple Attempts" to confirm - even though I already confirmed. We had a HECK OF A TIME finding a last minute new trailer.DAVID S.

The staff at this location is well above previous UHaul locations used in the past. Kazandra was so personable, friendly, and helpful- as was her colleague, Kyle. Both made the pick-up and return so easy and fast. While the drive is far from the city, their assistance makes the drive much easier to look into renting from this location for the future. Kazandra and Kyle have many qualities as employees with customer service-facing roles should have. Perhaps they can help other Uhaul staff share that same mentality.Michael D.
Worst experience ever with moving day. They did not hold my 15 foot truck after my advising we were stuck in traffic. The manager was rude and snippy and offered a small van to move a 3 bedroom home for 3 hours. Nevwr use them again!Geraldine N.

I needed an extra day with my uhaul because my closing on my new house didn't go as planned. I sent a message to the location with the request. I then received a phone call at 8pm from one of the representatives at this location. She preceded to be very aggressive, screaming at us because the uhaul was not returned on time, there was no way of extending it and if I didn't return it she was reporting me to the authorities that the vehicle was stolen. I had no way of emptying the uhaul since it was full of my belongings and nowhere to bring them. I had to end the phone call and called uhaul reservation line. The person I spoke to couldn't have been nicer and said it was not a problem to extend the rental for another day. The woman at this location should not speak or treat people that way. It was a very stressful situation and she made it 10 times worse. Absolutely horrible customer service and would not recommend this location to anyone.Elizabeth C.

1) the app/ instore computer system is the most annoying part of the whole U-Haul experience. 2) app needs to allow rescheduling of equipment and/or the 30 min automatic cancellation policy needs to be stated more clearly. 3) if you need a second contact address, add it to the profile. 4) be able to remove cars that are no longer applicable. 5) give option to connect your own trailer, especially for those that rent trailer often.DICK V.

The gentleman running the site was very courteous and professional. The problem was that this was not the site I reserved or the time (I requested 7am). I was moved from a site close to my home then got moved to a further location. At the last minute I was told to go to this new location for an 8am pick up and the site did not open until 9am. The scheduling and use of equipment was great. However when returning the vehicle to this location the female store Manager absolutely lost it and screamed at me for not parking the truck under a specific awning - it was a very hot day and I had no idea why she had to carry on - her employee was very kind to move the truck without being asked as he could see I was exhausted from the move and had no idea where I was suppose to return the truck. This spoiled the rental experience that was otherwise a very normal and pleasant experience. This manager needs to take a break! Too much anger in this world and no need for it! You could keep the reservation requested. Two days before the scheduled start date I was informed the rental pickup location changed to a location 50 minutes away. I had to find a rental that was closer and had to pay a higher price for a larger rental and it would be only 30 minutes from the original location. We rented a truck and storage space on 1/28. Overall the experience was ok. My partner and I were shocked at the complete lack of attention from the gentleman working the counter. He did not look up once from his phone when we walked in. And as he was entering our information into the computer, he was scrolling on TikTok as he was typing. We've all worked in retail and customer service and I'm fully aware it's not the most glamorous gig. But this guy was on a next level of not caring or showing an ounce of professionalism. One of the elevators stopped working while we were moving in and another customer went up to tell him, and he just shrugged. You people at your rental facilities are amazing. Andy at the Mobil Station in Ashland that I was sent to first and Jamal at your Southborough facility were awesome. The night manager who checked me in at the end of the rental was also exceptional. These are great people who represent Uhaul extremely well and very professionally. Your reservation management system is atrocious. My sons and I had a very tight schedule to move our things from the storage unit to our home in Rhode Island. We wasted over 2 hours because of your horrible reservation system. I called and made the reservation working with a very nice and professional Uhaul representative. I needed a 15' truck for a one way rental, furniture pads and a hand truck. I received an email with instructions to pick up the truck at the Mobil gas station in Ashland. Andy was awesome and tried several times to help process the reservation. I went in line and repeatedly filled out my data including the photos of my license three times. After the third completion of the forms I received another itinerary to pick up my 15' truck at your Southborough location. I wasted almost an hour, but I was hopeful we would get back on track since the Southborough facility is only 15 minutes away. We got to the Southborough facility and Jamal told me he had no 15' trucks only 10' for one way rentals. He said I could go to your Natick facility to get a 15' truck. I already wasted too much time in Ashland so we said we would try a 10'. Turns out it was not tall enough and it had no ramp. Jamal said he could rent me a 20' but it would have to be a return. That's what we ended up doing. The truck was fine and was actually a pleasure to drive. The people and equipment are great but your reservation and asset management system SUCKS and caused us to waste over 2 hours we did not have to waste. FIX IT!!!!!!michael b. | Overall Experience

There are 2 elevators. I was told that the broken one would be fixed. I saw no indication of the elevator being fixed. It actually looks like it has not been used. Found out after move-in that there was a major water/flooding problem on the first floor. I have major damage to my leather sectional as well as another leather rocker recliner. Also damage to two antique bedside tables and a wood storage unit for the living room. Other damage to shoes. Pocketbooks and to now unknown other items in second storage unit.
