Fantastic service! Upon arrival to rent a 26' truck I realized it was larger than what I expected and asked if it was possible to downsize to the 20'- Ed was very accommodating and the change was easily made. We also had delays in getting into a new apartment which were easily managed by phone with the U-Haul office- other than very long wait times to speak to someone their service was exemplary- thank you.JEANETTEMARIE R.

when we booked it was near us we had a one way drive of 31 miles to pick it up due to uhaul changing the location. That's 124 miles to pick up and return. at least offer the return at the original location.DAVID H.

The initial UHaul customer service incorrectly reserved boxes at a UHaul site that did not have boxes. Had I not called a week ahead to make sure things were in place, it would have been a disaster. Fortunately when I called and realized UHaul made this mistake, I was able to contact the Ft Pierce location and get back on track. to better serve customers, the locations should have more double-box trailers to reduce the number of trips back and forth to the UHaul location.Gary G.

Check all bolts and nuts upon return and out-rentals. The auto transport trailer I received had a left side fender bold missing completely and I realized it when entering the highway. The fender flew up and hit the tow-car on the door, leaving me with a nice gouge and needing a paint job. I stopped at a home depot and got a bolt to limp it to the return location.RYAN L.

The worst almost 4 years experience ever. We had a lot of mold, roaches and water damage in our unit. We had to throw so much away due to the damage. Such an awful experience. We also paid full price for the month of December and emptied our storage on 12/8/21 and they refused to pro rate our month of December. What a rip off!! Little disappointed I asked if you hold the card until return and was told yes.i got a trailer and find out the charge was processed. I had plans on paying cash when I returned the trailer and the computer problem made it hard to take it off not your problem I gave you a card that that was close to over the limit oh and yes it made my card over limit. Next time please inform the customer the card goes through if you have a trailer not a truck. Other then that it was a experience it the ft.pierce uhaul tyDebbie S.
Big issue...I rented a tow dolly one way from FL to PA. I was told that although they needed a unable address for drop off for mileage, that I could return it to any place closer to me. When trying to do that , the guy at the drop off location was very rude and curt. He said it had to be taken to a different location as they were closing. He also said if I didn't take the 1.5 hour 45 mile trip that they would charge me double whatever the rate was, because they needed it at that location by 4:00 pm. When I got there, they said â€œ no way - the extra charge was only if it was local, and they had two other tow dollies there with no reservations....needless to say both the pickup place in FL and the original drop off place in PA gave out incorrect info.Gregory A.

The two young black chaps working the counter were extremely unprofessional. I waited online for 30 mins cause they work at a snail pace. It's disgusting how they have zero work ethics . There were very few tie down options in this trailer. The railing options were very small and I could not use ropes or bungee cords. Many of the existing rails in the trailer were broken.Aaron B.
I went back for auto transport that I had reserved prior. I was told they didn't have it. I was sent down the road had to wait only to be told it wasn't available went back to this location and was told one would be in at 10 I paid 2 cancellation fees for Uber. I ended up leaving town 3 hours late not a good way to start a 1300 Mike trip. And the 15 foot truck has an exhaust leak or something. Had to leave ac on constantly or the cab would fill with fumes! I paid too much money for all of this aggravation!JERRI M.

Literally everyone there is like robots except the gentleman who checked me back in. He was working on thanksgiving and still smiled, even though significantly busier than the robots there when I picked the equipment up. When given the equipment the clerk who did my contract was so disinterested he didn't tell me to follow him out, no safety brief on vehicle and just walked away after giving me the key. Your prices are amazing and the location is very convenient but your people need some customer service training.MATTHEW W.

This was easily the worst moving experience I've had. When reserving my u-boxes, I informed the customer service agent of the drop-off location (Jupiter Florida). Following moving to Jupiter, When I called to have the U-boxes delivered, I was informed that Jupiter was "outside" of the service area. I was then told that I would have to drive to the facility and unload my boxes there or rent a truck to drive the boxes to my house. I spent a total of 3 days and countless hours on hold with U-haul customer service and was continued to be passed off to the next person. The only person of any help on U-hauls side was the manager Angel. I am Currently on the Phone with Uhaul customer service for a third time this week in an attempt to get receipts. Every time I have called, they inform me that they will send the receipts to my email, but I never receive them.Chad L.

Let's see: starting with someone 'accidentally' closing my storage unit one day out of the blue when I am hundreds of miles away?!? Or granting me certain vehicles, only to do a bait & switch, or for no one to contact me AT ALL about my reservation?!? Let's just say that the ONLY pleasant experience with U-Haul was LEAVING the other day - in that, the dude outside when I checked out was pretty cool...but more importantly, it was great knowing that I will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. After using this location, my issue is with UHaul in general. I had my Ubox self delivered and my rentals are still showing active. I have to reach out to customer service for everything. I couldn't schedule my self delivery online because it could not find my contract # in the system and I get transferred around before finally finding some one competent enough to help with my questions. Even after requesting my storage fee be canceled because my box was delivered, they had to send a request to the storage facilities manager to see if they can do it. I will never use Uhaul again after this move. It has been nothing but a nightmare.Seth T.

I was sent to this location by customer service stating I would have free storage available. When we got there I was told that I had to make reservations ahead of time. So I had a truck load I had to find storage for before I could return truck. Customer service never mentioned I had to make reservations and the first location they gave me for storage and drop off had neither. I had to go twenty minutes away to drop off and to find a place to store my things.LAURIE G.

Jeremy was great! He took care of fulfilling a reservation that the Biltmore Port St Lucie clowns didn't fulfill. (Those people even cancelled a reservation I made to pick up a vehicle this week. Upon arrival, a very large truck with several pods on it was extending the length of the driveway up to the edge of the 4 lane road, US-1. It was impossible to not only move around, but couldn't be seen around to enter or worse, to exit as it blocked all view of oncoming traffic. This truck was in that position the entire time I was at the facility. Very dangerous. The fire exit to the building with my storage unit was actively being blocked by towing equipment, even as we asked to use the entrance to unload. The reason we were told no is that it's emergency only. And the manager & staff were in the process of blocking it with trailers, etc. so it would be useless as a fire exit. Alejandro handled my account and gave inaccurate information and misdirected us to the building next door. Once we managed to get around the large truck blocking the view of the street and entered the storage area next door, we found we were in the wrong location and could not exit. Despite calling via the callbox for assistance, we remained stuck there for some time. Alejandro eventually responded to say he was standing where we were supposed to be & SURPRISE - we weren't there. Useless. A waste of time & with all the other safety issues, the last straw. I only offloaded my things as I was pressed for time and did not have time to find another storage option before returning to Sarasota. I definitely would not recommend and, in fact, took photos of the serious safety issues which I'll be happy to forward for your review.Donna O. | First Impressions

I had to pay moving help $350 for nothing due to being misinformed about the Sunday closing time. I was told that the hours of operation was 7-7 and after a 15 hour drive found out that the location closed at 5pm. Having already booked the movers.
