The trailer had a flat when I went to pick it up. The service person was great. Tried to get a company to replace it. Didn't work so he replaced it with another new tire. He made sure it was torqued to the correct setting and Everything.

Of the four employees I encountered picking up and dropping off a trailer not a single one was wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Furthermore, after dropping off I had to ask for a receipt for proof that I had returned the trailer.... what would have happened if I hadn't asked?

I have only two complaints about this rental. 1)The spring or springs on the overhead door of the trailer were broken which made it difficult to raise and lower the door 2) Not a single employee, including the General Manager were wearing masks, as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!

My complaint is that o rented a truck in norristown, pa and my reserved truck was returned to a different location, so I was assigned a new truck 40 minutes away. I understand that might happen, but there was no phone call to let me know to make new arrangements. Wasted two hours waiting for uhaul; while my movers waited for me to get the truck. If you don't have a truck. Don't wait for the customer to show up before you start to make new arrangements. Figure it out and at least give a preventative phone call. Terrible experience.

The staff did not wear a mask when I came to claim my boxes. He seemed bothered by my being there asking for the ones we preordered. He sighed as he looked up from his cell phone. One the day we picked up the truck, there were a few employees and only one was wearing a mask. We also did the pre-check-in in hopes to make the process easier but that was not the case. Also, the truck latch was frozen. Calling for assistance did not go well as their office did not open till 9am. Inside the truck was garbage from the previous renter. I did report the event of picking up the boxes to corporate but did not give a time or location as we had not picked up the truck and did not want any hassles.

I rented a 26' truck two weeks ahead with confirmation email to pickup as scheduled, so I booked the movers. Only to be told day off at the location that the customer before me didn't return the vehicle so I have to wait till 2pm from 9am. Movers were at my house waiting. No other arrangement was made to find me another vehicle. Movers couldn't come back 2pm because they have other jobs. After waiting one and half hours and calling other truck companies with no luck, this location gave me a 17' white truck that couldn't carry my belongings at once. I paid movers extra $160 for additional person, still I lost two hours of my time with them. Ended up packing and moving half of my things myself. This is the worst moving experience I have ever had.

Jason and the other female staff member was:1. Rude, 2. No mask and refused to put one on. 3. Became irate and threatening as a result. Refused to provide equipment and told to get out of my store saying he was the manager. 4. Customer service called to get him to provide equipment, which came from the far end of lot in back dark area, coincidentally, upon check in was found to be something wrong and unsafe. Serious unsafe problem at this location.

I personally did not have any issues with customer service, but watching how the two customers in front of me were handled, I think that some customer service training is in order. If I did have a problem, I'm not sure it would have been handled well. Both customers in front of me had legitimate reasons to be upset and their questions were pretty much ignored from the man behind the counter , who happened to be the GM. Besides that , neither of the two uhaul employees (the GM and a woman) even bothered to wear a mask, or have one handy. Instead of handling the issues that were brought up, it was turned into a heated argument , that almost had the police called first thing in the morning. In this time, why not just handle the concerns and avoid such a nasty back and forth? I was disappointed how the matters were handled with the other customers, though I myself did not have a problem.

Yes u\out of convenience but the young guy who checked me in did not have a mask on and kept wiping his nose on his sleeve. He was very nice but given the current situation we are in he should be more conscious of what makes the customer feel safe.

Computer technology was an issue. Had to run credit card several times and eventually move to a different computer. This made the wait time longer than normal. Other than that, all good.

I have rented from U-haul numerous times for moving needs and never had an issue until now. We arrived at our "pick up location" To find out that there was NO uhaul there for us. I had completed "online" check in DAYS in advance, and yet there was no U-haul. We were there to pick up the truck around 7:20 and movers were coming at 8:30 so we were not happy to hear that there was no TRUCK available. Luckily the customer service associate at the location quickly came up with a solution, to give us a non used, non marked moving truck, thankfully upgraded us in size and did not charge extra. If it wasn't for the customer service associate who worked quickly, we would have given U haul a 0/10. We then got a call from another U-haul location 2 hours later (2 hours after our potential check in) telling us that they are very sorry and they just DONT have a truck for us. If you ask me that is unacceptable. You are lucky that your associate at 333 W street road was there to save the day, otherwise we would not be using U HAUL EVER again.

1 start rating is exclusively for customer service provided at Feasterville PA U-Haul location. Everything else such as process, the vehicle is up to the expectations. My card was double charged by the U-Haul Feasterville pa location, I had all the paperwork and offered to bring it back to the location for further research. The customer experience provided by U-Haul Employee Jason Doyle was unprofessional, rude, and accusing me of lies, let me know that his decision will not be reverted and no paper work can prove it. While we got the refund back as our paperwork proved to be correct, I find it discouraging to see General Manager Jason Doyle set such negative customer service standards for his team.

The vehicle was dirty inside with actual dirt on the dashboard. The change begin oil light was on. The check engine light was on and the low pressure oil gauge was fluctuating between low and normal. The manager said it was a brand new vehicle and he would not give us a vehicle that didn't have oil in it. I asked for this to be written on the contract which he reluctantly did.

My stuff was in a storage unit since 2017 (2 1/2 years). During this time I lived in another state I finally was able to retrieve m my stuff on 7/11/2020. For the length of time my stuff was kept in the unit everything was in good condition. No bugs or any other undesirables were discovered in my boxes. I guess it was the climate control and cleanliness. I am grateful during this time their weren’t any fires or natural disasters. I would recommend to others.
